A trip to Disneyland just isn't complete without stopping at a few of the classic snack carts…read more Every visit, I make it a point to grab a smoked turkey leg, popcorn, and a Mickey ice cream bar. They're all part of the Disney experience! The turkey leg cart is an absolute must. Even if the line looks long, it's worth the wait. The smoked turkey legs are flavorful, filling, and packed with protein, making them a great way to stay full for several hours while exploring the parks. They are a little pricey, but it's one of the more satisfying snacks you can buy. Pro tip: Bring a bag of dinner rolls or King's Hawaiian rolls and make your own mini turkey sliders--it's a fun and delicious way to stretch your meal. Next is the popcorn cart. Disney's popcorn is always fresh, buttery, and perfectly salty. Throughout the year, they offer collectible popcorn buckets with different seasonal designs, which are fun souvenirs for Disney fans. As for me, I'm keeping it simple--I love the original OG plain popcorn. No fancy flavors needed! Last but not least, don't skip the ice cream cart. There's something special about walking down Main Street with a classic Mickey Mouse ice cream bar in hand. It's a timeless Disney treat that brings out the kid in everyone and is the perfect way to cool off on a warm day. These three snack carts have become traditions for me, and I look forward to them on every single Disneyland trip!

Okay, okay, we all know the rumored Disney "Smellitizers" that pump manufactured buttery popcorn smells out of the carts (this is actually true), so minus a star for the fake-out. Popcorn is one of the healthier snacks on offer in the park, and it's always fresh and tasty. The kernels are perfectly popped, light, crunchy, and coated with just the right amount of salty-buttery goodness that keeps you reaching in for "just one more" handful. And while still overpriced at $6, it's not crazy expensive. The cast members always keep the cart spotless and the lines moving quickly, even when it stretches a dozen people deep like during parade and firework times. Bonus points for the adorable themed popcorn buckets that make the snack feel like a souvenir you can take home. You'll pay a pretty penny to get one, but who doesn't want a cheerful plastic bucket shaped like Oogie Boogie or Mickey Mouse or R2D2? I don't think a visit to Disneyland is complete with a stop at one of the park's many popcorn carts. Popcorn is such a great snack. It's simple, it's classic, and somehow it tastes even better when you're strolling down Main Street with Sleeping Beauty Castle in view.

It's the day after the event, and I have to say it seems like it was a real hit! I've gotten a bunch of emails from people about how wonderful the service was and how nice the employees were. These folks came through on short notice and completely over delivered. I know they also do the kettle corn booth for surf city nights in Huntington Beach so maybe a bunch of you have tried them before... If you haven't you owe it to yourself to work with them the next time you have need of a service Like this! Their prices were reasonable. Their booth looked fantastic. their employees were incredibly friendly and easy to work with and most importantly, the kettle corn from what I hear was excellent... I didn't get to have any as I had another commitment. Plus it's not great for my teeth... But they do other stuff as well. I will definitely be using them again, and I will definitely be referring people to them. They made the entire thing incredibly easy. You can even pay them online. Trolley Treats is nestled along the Buena Vista Street, as soon as you walk inside Disney's California Adventure. The design of the Trolley Treats is themed from a trolley car depot, and vintage Hollywood designs like the decor, and whimsical signage. The store is quite immersive and such a fantastic experience. The ambiance of the store is amazing with a wide range of candy, both classic and Disney themed. The shelves inside the store have packaged sweets from chocolate bars and gummies to lollipops and taffy. Seasonal offerings and limited edition Disney themed confections are offered at Trolley Treats too! You'll want to check the Disneyland's mobile application's for their current hours of operation! One of the highlights of Trolly treats for me is the collection of character inspired goodies. There are Mickey shaped chocolates and cookies as well as candies that are Pixar themed. Many of these treats can be beautifully packaged for souvenirs or gifts. Discounts are accepted at Trolley Treats. The Magic Key Holder Discounts, Disney Vacation Club Discounts and Disney Visa Cardmember Perks can be used. This was one of my first times visiting the store at Disney's California Adventure during my last trip over the Holidays in December. I'd highly recommend if you're visiting the theme park to stop inside here! There are so many different treats that are freshly made! My go to is always the chocolate Marshmallow on a stick!

The story goes that Kat Saka is a farmer who grows her own spices gathered from around the galaxy, which she then uses for the popcorn. For $8 you can get a scoop of Kat's Outpost Mix with a colorful mix of sweet and spicy pieces. It's not mindblowingly delicious but it's cute, fun and instagrammable. They sometimes have different fun mixes like Sour Cream & Onion to try, as well. I like that their pop comes in Thermal Detonators adding fun to the whole Star Wars theme of it all. Bonus fun - they have glass walls so you can see the candy makers working their magic. Although I don't eat them, I love the Disneyland caramel apples and watching them being decorated.
