So the spicy chicken sandwich was good, just enough heat to make the flavor pop. The bad - this was the worst cole slaw I've ever eaten at any Popeyes. What did you do to it? The packaging seems to have gotten smaller, it wasn't even full and then it tasted weird like there was too much mayo and not enough sugar to balance out the mayo flavor. I've been to this location three times and every single time I've gone I've always had an issue whether it was a food delay or a wrong item and it took me a third negative experience to post a negative report. I even use the Popeyes mobile app and designated to pick up now knowing that there is an additional 15 minute buffer, and my order was still eight minutes delayed. The manager was very nice but I understand that language could be a barrier for him and lo and behold, a missing mac & cheese and he gave me rice instead and I had asked him for mac & cheese and he said we ran out so two fails in one order, this is the official last time I will ever go to this location. Be prepared to wait MINIMUM 30 minutes in the drive thru even when there are fewer than five cars. They'll have you sit at the menu for so long without saying anything at all... The food was really good this time, thankfully. But the service really needs a step up. There's no reason 3 cars should be in the drive thru for close to 45 minutes. read more

I went early so that i can order and get our meals ready. So when they arrive they just sit and enjoy their food. They work near by and I usually order before they arrive because they're lunch is short with going back and finding parking. When I walked in I was the only customer. Took them a good 7 minutes to realize I was there. When the cashier came to take my order I asked I wanted the 2 sandwiches for 8 dollars. She said I had to order online. Not realizing it was not true yet. I went ahead and ordered online while there in the dining area. My husband and son arrived and still waiting longer. I asked him to go check if it was ready. People arrived after me. They came and left with their food. As time got closer to 11:30am It was time for my husband and son to leave back to work. My order still wasn't ready. I went and spoke to the manager. And I was upset and told her. It's not okay to tell me I have to order online if I could have done it in person. And finding out there that I could have. She started raising her voice at me saying my order is being done. Finding out latee from my husband the order she talked about was someone elses. I explained to her. "That why did you have me order online tho?, People have come and gone and I'm still waiting and you all are talking so loud of personal things rather then working." She took offense to it. I told her I wanted to speak to her manager. And she laughed and said she was the manager. I told her I would call corporate then. And said she would call too. And file a complaint on me. I told her, "For what?, You told me to order online. When I didn't have to. I could have ordered in person and use a code for the 2 sandwiches for 8 dollar special. That was not okay!" She said it's okay for me to call and get her fired. I told her that's not my intentions but okay ill be making the call. I just wanted to have lunch with my husband and son and you took so long they have to leave. I asked for her name she said Wendy Trios I believe. Plus she was speaking to me and my son in Spanish. My son went back to get a sauce which wasn't included in his meal and she was gonna charge him a dollar even after everything she put me and my family through. My son does not speak Spanish. He explained that to her. And I went to translate. But I didn't appreciate that another cashier didn't understand my son when spoken in English. I'm Hispanic I speak both but my son doesn't. So the manager came back and started back with me regarding the sauce. That she wasn't going to give him one because I made this scandal. I'm like you TOLD ME TO ORDER ONLINE! ‍ All of these could have been avoided had you done your job and taken my order period. Very horrible experience. 2.6 rating says it all. Go at your own risk. I usually read reviews before I go places but I also like to make my own assessment. This place is still fairly new I guess you could say. The staff is very young and may need a bit more training or a better way of providing service. I came here around 2:30pm, only 2 cars in front of me but I had noticed a lot of cars parked and did not realize they were all waiting for their food, soon I would have to join them as I ordered and was told to park til my food was delivered to me. Before parking I asked for bbq sauce which I was assured would be put in my bag. Well it wasn't and I couldn't catch the ladies attention as she went back into store. So ofcourse I was a bit frustrated as I had to get back into the drive thru line for bbq sauce. I understand mistakes are going to happen and I do not blame the young employees more so management as they should provide better training. I have been a fan of Popeye's since the 1970s. I've never had a worse Popeye's experience. My husband and I visited today. He tried to order the "large combo" with 2 pieces of chicken and two sides. He was told no he could only order one side even though the large combo is on their online pickup menu. When he asked if he could order a separate regular side (which is also on the menu) he was told no again. After getting our order we tried to find a clean table, but there were no clean tables inside even though we were the only customers. While we were eating, two employees came out and swept the floors, then put their brooms away and returned to the back, without touching the dirty tables. Additionally, we were there at 4pm without any other customers and there was prepared chicken sitting under the warming lights that was enough to serve a small army. Who knows how long that chicken had been prepared and sitting there. Needless to say, we will never return. read more

Sooooo.... We ordered two 2-pc meals, one white meat and one dark meat. A side of popcorn shrimp with coleslaw, Mac and cheese. They ended up giving us two dark meat meals, no cocktail sauce for the cocktail shrimp even though it was requested and no honey for the biscuits. I have given this place 3 chances before writing this review. It hurts me to give 1 star to a Hutto business, but this one deserves it. I waited 45 minutes to an hour each time for my food and it has either been wrong or items missing every time. It is literally like the staff are doing it on purpose. The door is locked and the phone number is disconnected, so you have to wait in the drive thru to get your correct order. If I owned or managed this location, I would only be open during the hours you can personally be there to supervise. I went to get a 4 piece chicken and a 3 piece tenders the other night and I said I wanted original chicken and half was spicy and there was barely any meat on the tenders and all crust so I went to take it back to get them to remake it. The lady Wendy said she was the manage and lied because the real manager was there the who time and was the one that went to the back and got my money. It is 10 minutes from my house so that's 40 minutes I spent driving total and when I got there they were power washing the floors and spray the water all over the buns, the grill and the fries and I have video of it all and will be taking it to the health department. I tried calling before I took the food back and when it went to voicemail it was all in Spanish, go call and try, and I only speak English and we live in a country where English is the main language we speak. I said this on Google, My mother (a Dasher) got insulted for wanting to know if her order will be handed soon so she could leave or stay and instead got insulted by a female worker. We know the food takes forever to be made and is most times not made right and that must aggravate the workers They must be aware of the upset customers, but your customers are not at fault. The Shift manager/s and other employees who allowed that should get called out too. Terrible to treat a person like that for NO reason. Imagine your disabled mom getting treated like that, I can't trust she's safe or getting treated well. Think of your family when you work with others- I ALWAYS think of this when I work with people.
