This Popeyes consistently lacks quality and attention to detail. It's disappointing every time I visit this location. I placed an order last night and received the complete opposite of what I ordered. My receipt clearly showed the correct items, yet the food I received did not match it at all. It's obvious that management does not prioritize quality or customer satisfaction. A business like this needs stronger management and employees who actually care about doing their jobs correctly. If I could give it a zero, I would. This location use to be stellar. It has gone downhill. If you can place an order, it is extremely slow and inaccurate. You will waste time and/or gas trying to purchase food from this establishment. They are severely understaffed and slow. It's completely unacceptable. This receipt is for the girl at the window who lied tonight and told the manager I only ordered shrimp when she got my order wrong instead of taking accountability. I picked up an online order than ordered a shrimp basket with NO drink because they do not allow edits for this in the app. I then had to pull over and wait for my food. I made sure to mentioned it's 2 orders to bring out. When it came out she forgot my car and took it to the wrong one, then when she got to me I asked if it was both orders. She said yes. LIAR. It was the app order. I then pull around and told her and she apologized and said she would bring out the shrimp. She literally only came out with shrimp. I had to then get out the car to get my full order. The manager had someone tell me I was only rung up for shrimp. I said how so, when I paid $9?! Ordered the 5 piece tender meal (tenders, drink, fries) and was astounded that it rang up at $15 with tax! This was a specifically planned trip w/ my close friend because we were craving cajun and everyone around us would not stop randomly eating it lol. We did not want spicy chicken sandwiches but knew we would most likely be waiting in a long line due to the bring back. When we arrived at the restaurant we debated going in but stayed in the car and drive thru and it was such a great decision. We waited probably 30-45mins to order and get our food which is okay! Tim, a younger black male was the associate and omg he was soooo awesome! He knew their entire menu and since we were ordering a pretty large amount he suggested a dinner combo that would save us money and give more food. He was patient and kind from the speaker to the window. It was so refreshing considering how long we waited :) Our food was fresh and order accurate. There's apparently been some changes made at this location because these consistently horrible reviews do not begin to describe the restaurant we've encountered this summer. I am being absolutely hassled by family to get to Popeyes Avon like NOW. After promising a visit the next day I received a call at 10am to be on my way (they open at 11am) The chicken has been fresh. well-seasoned, large, juicy - quality preparation. The red beans and rice and mashed with gravy are "crave-able" to steal another restaurant's tag line, lol. btw No one is letting you leave here without trying the sauces. They'd rather give you too much food than fail at your requests. The customer service in drive through has been delightful- there is a young lady named MADDIE who I fear will be promoted out of there as word gets out?! She is over-and-beyond personable, professional, attentive to customers and seems to rub off on her co-workers. A real asset. I'm on my way back this morning. Checked hours and saw these reviews. We used DoorDash because of the social distancing and just ordered the Mild Chicken with Mashed Potatoes on the side. The sides weren't all that great but the chicken was actually really good. Sorry I did, I ordered a four-piece chicken dinner with mac & cheese and coleslaw. It also came with an order of fries which I did not ask for. The chicken was heavily coated with batter. The pieces were cut in no shape I've ever seen before. The flavor was bland (non -spicy), The mac & cheese was like nothing I've ever eaten. The macaroni was stuck together with lumps of cheese. I went through the drive-thru. I should have known when the two cars in front of me pulled off after stopping at the intercom and speaking with the person taking orders. I pulled up and waited at least 5 minutes before being greeted. When the lady came on the line she said "Welcome to Popeyes" and never said can I take your order. I ordered a 2 piece spicy white and she asked if I wanted the number two and I said yes but without the drink and she said , in the most facetious and rude way, "well you don't want a number 2 then" and proceeded to be even more rude. Hey now! I stopped by the drive thru to try that chicken sandwich because somebody said it was better than Chick-fil-a! I don't want to admit it but it actually is! The breading is better and the piece of chicken is bigger. The Cajun fries taste like Rally's. The staff member working at the drive thru was especially friendly and I had my food in no time at all.
