I love the healthy and tasty selection of ingredients to build your own bowl at Bibibop's. They have become my "go to" fast food chain. The stores are bright and super clean inside with fresh flowers on the tables. This one has a nice patio with umbrellas over the tables. The service is quick and friendly. The line moves unbelievably fast. I had a tofu bowl for lunch yesterday. The bowls are large and filling. I try to build a low carb bowl. My favorite ingredients include: Pickled onions - yum! Curry chickpeas - so creamy and flavorful. Broccolini - healthy and tasty. Kimchi - spicy!!! I top off either Yum Yum sauce, which is mild. The bowls come with a cup of miso soup if you want. I'm a soup lover, so I always grab one. They offer amazing selection of iced tea drinks, too.

An Asian chipotle aka fast food Asian with fresh ingredients. I ordered the fan favorite which comes with chicken, purple rice sweet potato noodles, roasted sesame broccoli, potatoes, carrots, corn, and cheese, topped with Yum Yum Sauce. I thought the bowl was delicious except for the protein, I was not a fan of the chicken. I also ordered the Korean crispy chicken which I also disliked. I did go close to closing so maybe the chicken wasn't the freshest. I will definitely give this place another try earlier in the day with a different protein.

This was my first visit to a Bibibop and I certainly wasn't disappointed! Dropped in on a weekday for a quick lunch while working in the area. If you're not familiar with the setup, think an Asian version of Chipotle. You start with a "base" item like rice or lettuce, then build upon it with other veggies/meats/tofu. The employee who served me was Averie and she was super friendly, as well as informative! I elected for a base of romaine and kale, then added a variety of vegetables and finally roasted organic tofu with a sesame ginger dressing. Averie even allowed me to sample it first, and said they were happy to let me taste any item they offer. Do note that avocado has an upcharge of $1.50 (which was a bit surprising, but certainly didn't deter me)! It was encouraging to see that this biz invests in compostable bowls, as well. When I checked out, Averie mentioned there was complementary miso soup available. There were fountain drinks available, as well as two kinds of lemonade and a berry-flavored tea. I chose a spindrift carbonated water. I really enjoyed the freshness and flavor of my bowl. It was a very generous portion which was quite filling. The total for my meal was $14.17 and I did tip, although there was zero pressure to do so. I'm glad I tried Bibibop and can see it sliding into my regular restaurant rotation!

Been meaning to try this place since it opened in this location. We finally tried it and happy we did. My wife needs to eat gluten-free and everything here is. She was so happy about that. The dining area is very comfortable and was actually very cool inside which I prefer. The service was decent not spectacular. No one was rude. They just seemed to be trying to move you through the line. The food is really good. You walk up and let them know step by step what to put in your bowl. There are several bases, vegetables, main meats/proteins and sauces to choose from. We will be back.

In town and a friend brought me here. I eat a mostly plant based diet so this place CHECKED ALL THE BOXES. Nice variety of options to build your bowl. My bowl was delicious. Good portion sizes. I wasn't able to eat it all. Friendly, efficient service. We need one in Charlotte, NC!

This is a fairly new restaurant in Avon near Costco shopping area. They have a fairly good menu options with vegetarian and vegan options. They do dine in and carry out. I don't think they have outdoor seating but I could be wrong because we sat inside. This place is business casual and family friendly. They service was great and inside ambiance was quiet.

Stopped at the Avon location to grab a quick and easy meal after grocery shopping at Costco on a rainy day. There was a tiny bit of a wait with new staff learning, but everyone was very pleasant. I decided to get the glass noodles and purple rice as my base and got all the veggies. For the protein, I got the chicken/ The serving amounts provided for everything as so generous that it looked like I had asked for double helpings I also loved that there was complementary miso soup. I ate about half my bowl at the restaurant since I was starving. I will say portion wise, you would be good for two meals! It's a nice spot to get a good protein bowl - the Korean style of chipotle.

Been waiting for this location to open. It was their grand opening on Friday they were giving you a scratch off I had swag gifts and food giveaways. I was so excited I won a free bowl a week for a year. Thank you BIBIBOP. They have combinations that you can pick from or build your own bowl. You pick your Base: white rice - purple rice -lemon turmeric rice -sweet potato noodles -honey citrus kale or basic Romain. Protein: steak- chicken -tofu Spicy chicken, -Korean barbecue or miso glazed salmon. Even more feelings, pickle red onions-corn-kimchi-black beans-cheese-carrots-pineapple-guacamole-eggs, broccoli Brussel sprouts and garbanzo beans and more. You can even top it with a. Sunny side up egg. Didn't you pick your sauce to go over the top Yum Yum teriyaki and sesame ginger and more. This is what I can remember. There's a few desserts, a fountain drinks also exotic teas like passionfruit, lemonade, hibiscus lemonade, lemonade, mixed berry, tea, black, currant, black tea, and a green tea. The employees were really friendly and working hard that day. Can't wait to go back and try a new bowl. Almost forgot you can get a little bowl of miso soup for free.

Three eager to help you staff, always with gorgeous smiles!

This is the second review I've made but just want everyone to know, been there weekly since my original (except one) and it gets better and better and all the staff are so nice and helpful. I'm still learning about rewards card but the staff never seems to mind helping me with building my bowl nor checking out. Want good healthy food that actually taste phenomenal, try BIBIBOP!

Grand opening day and the service, care from employees and food were all fantastic! I loved this new quick service restaurant for Avon. I had the Korean fried chicken bowl with purple rice, carrots, pickled red onion, corn, egg, noodles, yum yum sauce, and brussels sprouts. I loved the amount of things you could add to your bowl for no additional charge. Im excited to go back and try more combinations! Oh and next time I'll definitely be trying the tea bar!

I happened to visit on a warmer day so I was able to see the space with the garage door open. It was golden hour and it had everything all lit up. Very beautiful. Our service was amazing, couldn't have asked for a better server. I can't remember her name but she was so detailed in her descriptions, thoughtful with her suggestions, and had the perfect amount of attentiveness. Now on to the fun parts.... Drinks were a hit! We told our server what we like and they recommended a couple options. I again can't remember the exact name of the drink but mine was a gin cocktail. I'll attach some photos for you. As for the food, every bite I took was delicious. Our table shared the fried brussel sprouts and the ginger miso salad. A very lovely way to ease into our meal on a lighter note. They split up the salad onto two plates for us, which was sweet of them. The portion was pretty good for a $12 salad. Very refreshing. Brussel sprouts were absolutely fire. Get them! Along with that, I also ordered the tempura shrimp maki roll. Inside the roll was cucumber and avocado with giant tempura shrimp right on top, drizzled in spicy mayo. The presentation was cool, a slightly deconstructed version of what I would get somewhere else. There wasn't a single bite left on the plate. I would order all three of these dishes again in a heartbeat. Perfect for a date night or special occasion, but also works for just grabbing a bite with friends. Whenever I find myself back in Indy, Modita will be on my list.

The place was busy for a Friday night, and was somewhat loud. Our waitress greeted us quickly, and was on top of things throughout the night. I started off with a ginger miso salad, based on recommendations on this page. Personally, I could have went without the $12 salad. I would have paid more like $6 for the amount of actual salad I got. The dressing was good, but nothing extraordinary. I did ask for no cucumbers- I could taste a faint taste of cucumbers on the salad, so think they just took them off after they were already placed. We split some Bao Buns. These were the highlight of the show. The pork on them was thick, the slaw was fresh, and the bao bun itself was fluffy. We split two dishes for dinner- the short rib and the chicken udon noodles. The chicken udon noodles were fantastic- packed full of flavor and tons of toppings in it. The short rib fell a little short of my expectations, but I had high expectations to begin with. We have had the short rib multiple times in the past- and normally it is a hunk of meat, similar to a roast. Now, it is strips of tiny pieces of meat with a bone attached to it. If the owner/general manager is reading this- GO BACK TO THE ROAST STYLE- the strips of meat was too much work to eat. Still packed full of great flavor though. I had the bridge to Anshun for my drink. I had never had Baiju before, but glad I tried it. It was a tangy drink that was also sweet- would say it's a must try. Overall, some changes since our last visit that weren't expected, but overall had a great evening here. Can't wait to return.

We started with the ttuk kko chi which were rice cakes covered in a gochujang sauce. The cakes were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The sauce it was in was amazing, balancing the heat from the gochujang with some sweetness. Next, we got the Korean fried chicken (they were out of KFC wings). I remember the sauce being a little more red last time, but it was still good. Super crispy exterior and no excess batter so we just tasted the juicy chicken. The two entrees we got were the spicy chicken and jaeyuk. The spicy chicken was flavorful and tender. Along with the chicken, the veggies were stir fried nicely and coated in the broth. The jaeyuk was a little better with the pork having a great marinade and also being super tender. On top of the food we ordered, we were given a salad, soup, and rice which were all nice accompaniments. This was the meal I was looking forward to the most in my return and it did not disappoint. The only and I mean only thing to change is having bigger napkins on the table. Everything else is great and most importantly all the food is delicious.

It had been before the pandemic since my last time in Indianapolis and much has changed on the city's dining and drinking landscape. Following a recommendation from a bartender at Sundry & Vice, I made my way to BODHI. I didn't have reservations, which I'd strongly recommend, since the place was packed on Wednesday night before 6PM. Fortunately, I was able to snag a seat at the bar, which was ideal since I was dining solo. Upon scanning the hip, high-energy, yet petite dining room, I had a sense of deja vu about it before realizing that I had been in this space before back when it was Black Market. I started off with a cocktail from Bodhi's intriguing and expansive drink list, a 7 Realms of Happiness, made with Old Hamer Bourbon, Faccia Brutto Centerbe, Cappelletti amaro, saffron honey, and lemon. My thought was that it's their twist on a classic Whiskey Smash. It was bittersweet, yet balanced, and simply a delight. As for the food, BODHI's menu is concise hitting the most of the Thai food usual suspects. I had the Papaya Salad and the Shrimp Green Curry. The papaya salad came out first. I was pleasantly surprised by its plating, looking much more like an elaborate entree with its cashews, watermelon radish, and chicharrones than the humble side salad atop a leaf of lettuce or cabbage that I've usually received at virtually every Thai restaurant I've ever been. It was just a pretty plate as it tasted even better than it looked. It was fresh and flavorful as those flavors popped from the perfect balance of salty, sweet, sour, spicy, and funky. It was the best rendition of a papaya salad that I've tasted. My bowl of curry was no less successful in balancing those diverse Thai flavor profiles. Unlike some/many other curries I've had where it seems like a bowl full of sauce with bits and pieces of protein or vegetables, Bodhi's rendition achieved the perfect "solids to sauce" ratio. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the curry itself was bold and bright on my tongue. It was a delicious spoonful. I loved it! For "dessert", I had a second cocktail, the Garnet, a booze-forward whisky drink made with Mars Iwai Tradition, Pinhook Rye, Akashi Ume Plum whisky, Veda Mushroom Liqueur, Balsamic Vermouth, celery & orange bitters, and topped with a Moon Smoke Bubble. It was very unique, tasty and satisfying, if not a bit difficult to describe. I would maybe compare it to an Asian-influenced Vieux Carre and I thought it was excellent. Service from Carli, the bartender, was stellar throughout my night as she was friendly, helpful and exceedingly outstanding in making my drinks. A definite rock star! BODHI was outstanding. I'm not sure how to best describe the place. Was it as an amazing Thai restaurant that also does incredible cocktails or an amazing cocktail bar that also does killer Thai food? Regardless, I could not have enjoyed my experience more. If/when I'm back in Indy, BODHI is at the top of my list for a visit!

Unfortunately, my most recent experience was not as positive, and I found myself disappointed--though not due to any major issues. When I arrived at 11 a.m., right as the restaurant opened, there seemed to be adequate staff and they certainly weren't too busy to pay attention to the two tables dining at the time. I have no issue with staff taking a moment to chat, but I wish they had focused a little more on the guests who were dining. We ordered green tea, which is served in a metal teapot. The protocol is that if one person orders it, they receive the teapot, and if two people order it, they get one teapot to share. However, what surprised me was that despite finishing our tea, no one came by to offer us a refill. It would have been nice for someone to ask if we wanted more, especially given that we had finished the first pot. I also ordered the vegetable udon, hoping for a flavorful dish filled with fresh vegetables. Sadly, when it arrived, it lacked any vegetables and was quite bland. The overall taste was underwhelming, which was disappointing, as I had expected better. I pushed the plate to the side, indicating that I wouldn't be eating it. No one noticed. My plate was hardly touched, and not once did any staff member, including what I presumed to be the manager based on his demeanor, come over to inquire about my meal. He passed by my table at least three times without asking if everything was okay. I would have appreciated the opportunity to provide feedback. While I must say that everything else I tasted, aside from the udon, was delicious, the lack of attention to detail--such as not offering a refill for my tea and not inquiring about my dining experience--left me feeling neglected. It was truly disappointing to leave with an untouched plate and not a single word from the staff addressing my concerns even after we declined the offer container to take home the meal.
