Heading into the store, I see the expected "No Chicken Sandwich" sign but what wasn't expected was it was handwritten in a very amateurish way. Maybe Popeyes corporate should send all their franchisees official signs to look more professional. Since the pandemic, I've come here numerous times for pick up after ordering through the app. I had a great experience and did not experience any trouble or wrong orders. When you first enter, there are stickers on the floor to social distance atleast 6 feet apart. Once you reach the counter, you just order or ask to pick up your order. Usually by the time I get there, the order was already ready. I ordered my usual, the crispy chicken sandwich and then also the family meal for $19.99 (coupon through the app) and you also get two sides which I got mashed potatoes and Cajun fries. The food itself is great, the crispy chicken sandwich is a favorite of mine because the bread itself is soft but the chicken is also fried and crispy. One critique is that I don't like pickles and I usually ask for "no pickles" but each time I always get a pickle! No big deal though, I can just take it out myself. The mashed potatoes is also one of my favorites, it is mixed with meat and other spices which really adds to the flavor. Cajun fries are okay, can be soggy if not fresh but I like fries so soggy or not I will eat it :) Overall, I liked this location. It is convenient and despite rush hour, they were still able to get my order correct without missing anything. They also make their customers feel safe by wearing masks & gloves when handling food. This place is a joke! They have no clue as to what "hours of operation" stands for. We came by one late morning at 11:15a and the doors were locked. Let me point out that they advertise opening at 11am. After a few tugs at the door, someone inside proceeds to unlock them. However, it was not to let us in. She proceeds to inform us they open at 12:30pm. When I pointed out the sign says 11am, she replies saying 11a is the time employees arrive for work. 12:30p is when they open. WTF?! If I were sitting down, I would have fell off my chair. If you open at 11am and it takes 1.5 hour prep time...shouldn't you arrive at work at 9:30? Moving on....A few days later, still craving some fried chicken, we decide to head over at 12:30p. Once again, the doors were locked. This time no one paid any mind to the customers breaking a nail trying to open the door. What is wrong with this place? They also have issues pricing their "combo," with the combo costing more than if you bought the side and drink separately. Really crowded on a Saturday night. I ordered the family meal 8 pieces of chicken which comes with a large side and 4 biscuits. Since the meal only came with one side, I got a side of regular size Cajun fries. When I got home, I noticed the fries were missing from my order and I called them to see if I could pick them up.
