1 star cause I had to. Had a timed order for 545. Got there at 555. Was told they had to "drop fresh chicken" please pull up front WE WILL BRING IT TO YOU. 30 mins later I go inside. Manager just chilling and laughing it up with her crew. Did not look at me once. When someone FINALLY came to help me. Tried to hand me a different order before asking my name. I informed them nope im waiting on a timed order thats an hour late now. She grabs a bag on the counter thats been sitting there for 20 mins. And tries to hand it to me. I told her im not taking that cause its been sitting there. She then tells me no ma'am we just sat it there. NOPE. ive been standing at your counter for 20 mins and its been sitting there. Once again the laughing good time manager didnt look at me once. Food was disgusting can tell they havent changed their grease for days. And this is the third damn time its happened! We always order the family meal 3 or 4 times a month. They were missing 1 piece sometimes but we didn't say anything. This time it was missing 4 pieces! I called, and a white guy promised to deliver another bag to replace the wrong order (we ordered spicy but received the original). I called them 11 times after 90 minutes after he promised the replacement but they keep ignoring my calls. Good honesty and integrity! They thought we could not do anything if they didn't answer my calls. I drove there and the employees gave me attitude, and one "tough" guy even wanted to fight me! No problem! You know who I am, you know our address. Welcome to mess with US Army veterans! We are combat-ready every day! The philosophy of this place: I never respect you, but you must respect me. I'm rude, but you have to be polite. Really love this place. Whenever they messed up your order, they would not apologize at all. Instead, they would get mad! Yeah! They got mad! I give them one star because I have to. Worst customer service ever!! We went through the drive thru tonight and I specifically asked the drive thru lady "Do you all have the $25 chicken tender box"? She said "Yes, what 4 sides would you like with that"? So I told her the sides and we also ordered 2 apple pies. We checked our bag before we left the window, cause they are famous for not getting the order right or forgetting part of the order. The sides were right and the apple pies were in the bag, never thought to look in the box that had the chicken in it, worst mistake ever. We get home and get everything out of the bag, opened the box, and it was regular fried chicken, not the tenders. So I called up and talked to a lady named Linda. Told her what the mistake was, and she started arguing with me. She said "We do not have the tender box at this location." I told her "That would have been nice if the lady at the drive thru had told me that, because if she had I would not have ordered the chicken since I cannot bite it off the bone". She became very rude and said "Well you can come back and pay for a tender meal.". I told her "Why should I have to pay for another meal, when I already paid $30 for a meal I cannot eat and especially since I asked for the tender meal box...at this point she cut me off and said "I have been working the drive thru all evening and no one has asked for a chicken tender box." I said "My roommate was with me and can verify that I did and you could at least replace the chicken with 6 tenders". She said "Why would I do that, it's not like I can take the chicken back". At this point I gave up and just hung up. I was willing to give them one more try, we have been there 4 times now, and they have only gotten 1 out of the 4 right. I will NEVER and I mean NEVER go back to this Popeye's, even if I was starving to death and that was the only place to eat in a 100,000 miles!!! They really need to take a look at how they treat their customers....if they keep being rude and messing up orders like this, makes me wonder how they will stay in business. read more

Just spent $85.00 on a 16 pc family meal with 9 different assorted large sides and get home 10 minutes and EVERY damn piece of chicken was luke warm at best including the biscuits too, had to put everything in the damn microwave to make it hot in order for us to eat it, i got there an hour before they closed, no reason for this crappy service, this location is pathetically ran and has been for well over a year, i'll start driving the extra 18 miles to Leesville for my popeye's, at least they're 90% always on point. read more

This place used to be the best fast food location in town, but recently they've been giving people the wrong orders, taking far too long, or just never having certain things at all. Some members of the staff are also incredibly rude. There are just a few members of the staff who have been there for many years and are extremely kind and friendly. The food is great, but you almost never get what you order. They'll substitute a chicken wing for anything if they don't feel like either informing you of a shortage or putting fresh chicken into the fryer.
