The worker did not listen to me when I said no mayonnaise, as I am allergic to it, and also no pickles. I requested the sandwich to be plain, but when I received the chicken sandwich, it had mayonnaise on it, which is a serious allergy concern for me.

My order that they "read" but somehow I'm missing 2 golden bbq sandwiches
    Ricky C.

Ordered on Uber eats for 4 sandwiches and 1 large fry with sauces. The person bagging and setting up the order saw each item but didn't bag 2 sandwiches so I'm missing them from my order. I don't get how they can miss 2 complete whole sandwiches from an order blows my mind.

    The mobile orders take forever

This Popeye's is very slow for mobile orders. It would be faster to wait in line. The downfall of that, is that you are limited in your coupon choice

Spicy chicken sandwich ($4.27, February 2020)
    Logan D.

Medium line around 1:00pm on a Saturday. Pros: -Spicy chicken sandwich is awesome -Some parking -- Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($4.27) Huge piece of fried chicken with spicy mayo and pickles. The chicken was juicy inside and very crispy outside. The spicy mayo was the perfect amount of light spice. I have no complaints at all and I'd definitely get this again! I can't comment on Chick-fil-A, but Popeye's chicken and sauce make this chicken sandwich easily better than Shake Shack's.

Mobile order pickup...in the middle of the COVID pandemic.
    Chris D.

Randomly decided to try out Popeyes after seeing commercials for years and never going. Do NOT mobile order for pickup at this location, it's slower and less safe than just ordering at the counter. The pickup table mixes mobile order and delivery services, and there is zero social distancing happening. Employees also kept dropping orders off at the tables (not a take your own system) but would then wander away with nobody handing them out. Can't even comment on the food because I'm still waiting, over 20 minutes after ordering. First time, last time at this location. UPDATE: After over 30 minutes of waiting, they finally tried to figure out why and they had no record of our order, despite having an order number and everything having gone through. I just left and dealt with corporate for a refund. TL;DR: Waited over 30 minutes for an order that they somehow lost, trying to navigate and keep distance in an overcrowded pickup area, and left empty handed.

Line at 3:45pm on a Saturday for Popeyes new chicken sandwich

The ribs are fabulous! No question. They are as good as any I've tasted anywhere! Juicy, meaty,…read moreso flavorful. Perfect, I'd say! The green beans are fabulous, too. Fresh and perfectly cooked. I think the mashed potatoes must be fabulous fresh, but mine were heated over because they were prepared before I arrived, so I tasted that heated-over taste. But! They were very good; real potatoes, which you almost never can find anymore, and lots of butter! I might change that myself; a little less butter and a little more milk or cream. The thing I found disappointing was the fried chicken. I went to the restaurant to try the ribs because I'm looking for ribs to serve at a dinner party and I'm on the hunt, but I had to try the chicken! You may like it; I think my objection is a personal taste thing, but ..... The coating on the chicken tastes like it was poured out of a spice-blend like Montreal Steak seasoning or the Kirkland Signature Organic No-Salt seasoning, or Lawrey's Seasoning, or the seasoning packet from Good Seasons Zesty salad dressing packets - I know I've tasted it before, but I can't remember which it is. It was too too much! As I said above; it tasted like it was poured into bowl from the package and the chicken was dredged in it. The flavor may be great if it were toned down a little, like starting with flour and adding the seasoning blend to the flour? Starting with half and half of each would be an improvement, but I would go with a 3 to 1 ratio of flour to mix. Other than that, I am definitely going to order the ribs for my dinner! As it was, I used the sauce that came with the ribs to dip my chicken in; that sauce is out of this world!!!!! And the two gentlemen who helped me were terrific! Carmen talked to me about the ribs, the rest of the menu and was the most gracious host! I told him about my quest for ribs and he was very helpful! He alone is worth going back for. And Zee must have asked me 10 times if I needed anything; he was very attentive! This is a cozy place tucked away where you can go and relax and enjoy a great meal! Order the ribs!

Sunday morning we placed an on-line order. I was surprised at the pricing- affordable, even downright cheap! Ordering online was easy (but I did have a hard time finding the flavor list.) 15-20 minutes wait time (pretty good!) On street parking, nice staff all working diligently as they just opened (11am) and clean (I watched a young worker clean every window.) Chicken sandwich with liquid cheese for dipping (i love that they offer this!)- My 13 year old raved over the sandwich. Order of bone-in wings, lemon pepper and classic hot- my husband said it was good. He liked the classic hot better. I ordered some boneless bites (for $3.99!) Great price and the bites were enough to hold me over for a lite lunch. I went with Hawaiian flavor. It was a little too pineappley for me. Next time I would try another flavor. I did pay for a bottled water and it was like $6, that was not affordable.

The shop was spotless--you could tell the staff takes pride in keeping the place clean, which is always a good sign for a wing joint. We decided to go with the 30 pc Crew Pack (around $48), which was more than enough to feed 4-5 of us. For the flavors, we picked Lemon Pepper and Classic Hot. My husband is a huge fan of the classic hot--it had that perfect vinegary kick and the wings were cooked just right, not too dry. We also tried a newer flavor, but it was a bit too bold for my taste. I'll probably stick to the traditional ones next time. The veggie sticks were a nice touch to break up the grease, and the large fries that came with the pack were seasoned perfectly. I also love that they aren't stingy with the dipping sauces! My only complaint was the price of the bottled water. It was nearly $6! Definitely not as "affordable" as the rest of the menu. If you're thirsty, you're much better off getting one of the Wing Combos that includes a 20oz drink. Staff was diligent and the wait time was very reasonable (about 15-20 minutes). Overall a great spot for a quick, cheap family meal--just skip the bottled water!

But Live And Let Die was definitely Crazy Good Wings. I'll give them that. Anyway I exposed myself here, and I'm now barred from this place, and hiding from the cops. In other words I'm Banned/On The Run. This gas station features some pretty hostile employees but it does have a Brazilian burger and snack place in the corner (CGW) that is open late and you can't really ask for more than that from your average gas station so I can't hate it. Macia Lanches have an extremely Brazilian name because of the word Lanches and you better believe they have tons of great Brazilian stuff on the menu. X-tudo is their main seller but they have a lot of other stuff and I had the sausage dish which is known as Linguica, and I liked it a lot. It takes awhile for the food to come up and they were making fun of me for being so sexy but I still really like this place. Authentic Brazilian street food. *** The business it shares its space with is Macia Lanches: If you're feeling a little e-Macia-ted, and you have been skipping breakfasts, dinners, and even Lanches, then come here and get yourself some greasy Brazilian food. It's not expensive, it certainly won't set you back a Brazilian dollars. Cool late night greasy food spot which serves Burgers but not what you might be expecting. Since this part of Boston is so heavily Brazilian, that's what you get here. This is a Brazilian fast food, served hot and fresh until late. They specialize in the X-Tudo. And they have some pretty excellent Linguica (Portuguese/Brazilian greasy spicy sausage) as well served with Yucca (which won't make you say Yuck, er). Service can be mixed and can take quite a while, but they'll give you a number and you can hang out in the gas station or in your car until the number buzzes (like a vibe, you know, but don't use it for that or at least clean it after if you do, I call it a surprisegasm, the anticipation is the best part) and then your excellent greasy unhealthy snack will be all ready!
