He had a huge smile on his face the entire time and his energy was just great. Other Popeyes workers always seem so rude and like they hate their job, but Max was incredibly sweet and respectful. I was feeling a craving for chicken, but was going to get home too late to start cooking. I decided to stop at Popeyes by Costco, and order chicken tenders. It took less than five minutes to have piping hot, perfectly seasoned chicken with the perfect crispy coating! I took a good look at the chicken, and it was real breast meat! The tenders themselves are huge, I ended up with two left, I didn't have enough room in my stomach to finish it all. OMG, the biscuit!!! Better than I make at home, absolutely buttery and delectable! The staff were so friendly and professional, even though the drive through was getting a little busy. The location is very convenient to the highway and Market Street. There is a four way intersection, making it easy to pull in and easy to head back out. I took a peek inside the restaurant, and it was immaculately clean, making me regret that I ate My food in the car! I will definitely be ordering here again! read more

I've been to many Popeyes locations before, and their chicken tenders are usually crispy, not greasy, and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, this location was far from the experience I've had elsewhere. I ordered a 12-piece tender meal with a couple of sides, and it came out to about $30. When I got home, I noticed that several of the "tenders" were more like chicken nuggets. For the price I paid, I expect full-sized tenders like I'm typically accustomed to. I truly felt shorted on the portion size. I did reach out to customer service and provided photos. They offered to credit me $10, but I have yet to receive it. I'm very disappointed in the quality and portion consistency at this location. I hope they improve, because this is not the standard I've experienced at other Popeyes restaurants. read more

I've already emailed their headquarters' Customer Service dept., I was that upset. It's been assigned to a special staffer. Went through the drive-thru. The breast's meatiest part was actually CARVED OUT before it was breaded and placed in the fryer. It was as if they planned to use that chunk for a separate tender sale. I took pics to save as proof when I have that exchange. Plus, they asked me if I wanted to swap out the wing for a different piece, and I said "yes-- a thigh, please". Stood in front of the cash registers for at least five minutes and nobody even addressed us. They were not busy. A few people waiting on their food and a couple of cars in the drive thru. Tons of chicken under heat lamps. Tables and floors were dirty. Saw 3 people working. Yet not one person acknowledged us. Although I said I wouldn't eat here again, we went for lunch today with a coupon (we are on fixed incomes). The food is okay, and the serving sizes have been vastly improved (increased). But my criticism this time is about both about the condiments bar and the drink dispensers. One dispenser was inoperative and the other one had no carbonation. -- it was dispensing flat drinks. Monday 11/4/24 placed an order through the mobile app. in the evening around 7:30 PM. "To Go": 2 Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwiches,1 Spicy Chicken Sandwich and 1 Golden BBQ Chicken Sandwich (Extra Pickle) When we got home notice the BBQ wasn't in the bag, but rather a Bacon Club? My husband had to drive ALL the way back and when he explained the situation, the girl at the counter- believe her name was Melissa (Manager) didn't seem to really be bothered. My husband had shown her our mobile order and she seemed very irritated by the mistake. She then threw that sandwich in the trash and quickly had the Golden BBQ slopped together with no extra pickle. My husband asked would there be any compensation for him coming ALL the way back with the mistake being on their end and she rudely said "Nope"! She was extremely defensive and had a condescending behavior and she's supposedly a manager?! Instead of throwing the Bacon Club out she could have suggested/ offered for him to have kept it, or given him some free fries or something of a kind gesture for the inconvenience. Guess she just could cared-less! The ironic thing is when you are dealing with the public, you just may not know whom you could be serving! She didn't realize that this particular customers background could be relatively the same and that maybe, just maybe this individual you just treated so poorly could be in the same industry and that they might just be at a higher level in the same branch of business! Came in for lunch. All the tables were dirty. Wasn't even busy. Chicken was overcooked for the sandwich. I had to take it off the bun and pick it apart to eat what I could. Fries had a good flavor but only ate one because they were so rubbery from probably old grease. Definitely won't be back to this location. read more

I believe in giving places a 2nd chance. Again Popeyes was not good with customer service . Number 1 their was water all over the front of the store, a safety hazard I would say. Number 2. 3 workers they were out of tenders and boneless wings that they did not bother to tell me till about 10 minutes of waiting. When I asked the guy said oh another 5 minutes then it was 10 minutes after that. A couple walked in and no one even acknowledged them. Finally got my order after I asked am I ever going to get my order then a manager came in from the back and I got my order. Not even a thank you or apology. My family asked why do you go back ? My friend went to the bathroom (as one does) and after doing his business he then realized there was no toilet paper. I asked the lady at the front counter for more toilet paper in which she asked her manager and she came back with the conclusion she "didn't know" he was forced to wipe with left over cardboard from the empty toilet roll. read more

I normally don't write reviews but something has to be done about this guy. My coworkers and I work very early in the morning, our lunch break isn't until 9am we decided to go to Popeyes got there around 9:10. As soon as we entered this guy says " I don't know why you guys are here this early" " This is weird for people to be here this early" he kept saying it in different ways multiple times. He told us it would be a 20 minute wait for the chicken since they "just opened" had no issue waiting, while taking our order he was on his phone watching YouTube videos kept saying " Huh" while taking our order and just being rude. When given our cups he slammed them on the counter with aggression for no reason! some time went by he gave out the first order around 9:30ish, I didn't receive food until 9:55! I was very frustrated after being told it would only take 20 minutes, he never apologized about the wait he did put and extra chicken sandwich in my bag. I was already running late back to work so I didn't really have time to check the food, once I got to the parking lot my fries that I ordered weren't in there neither the sauces or anything I asked for. I had to let the situation be what it was. I hope they can have a talk with this guy and take further action. It should not have taken almost an hour to simply fry this " fast food" on top of that he wasn't wearing any gloves and still holding on his phone while handling my food this isn't my first bad experience with this guy, but I will no longer be coming to this location. read more

Have been there regularly over past few years. When there a month ago the place was severely understaffed, orders confused, 15-20 minute wait for orders, and the service disorganized. Went back yesterday and it was worse. At 1130 we were only ones in dining room and still 15 minutes to get our orders, and we had to ask twice to get half of it. People came behind us and they all left. One guy in drive through told server to cancel order and complained and he (the customer) was called a vile epithet (specifically a 'f---ing a-----)!! We are finished with this location. Where is the franchisee? Where is the manager? Where is Popeye's? I am a small business advocate, but this is one that needs to go away. We definitely will go elsewhere. read more

Lunch time!!! Yah, to Jocelyn at the drive thru! My first time eating POPEYES EVER!!! DON'T JUDGE! We ordered the meal for 2 which I was disappointed as the individual sizes for side dishes were whack and not enough for 2 people at all! The Mac n cheese was OK, but not my thing for many reasons. The rice and beans would've been good if the rice were fully cooked and not hard. The biscuits were great as I can see why everyone likes them. Very buttery and tasty The chicken was OK, with honey poured over it but nothing to fight about. I didn't have the chicken sandwich though, so perhaps, if I tried that ...it would be so good, that I'd want to fight. (It's a joke) Overall, a good first time experience thanks to Jocelyn who laughed with me and not at me for this being my first time. Give her a raise!!! read more

If I could give a 1/2 of a star I would. The customer service was great. The Man at the drive thru window was kind and very patient. It was the food that was utterly disgusting. I've eaten at this location on several occasions and the chicken never tasted this awful. It was dry, hard and missing some of those Louisiana spice the commercial talks about. We tried calling to see if we could get a replacement but the phone just rang and then went to a busy signal. We called a whole lot. I've never had this kind of experience. I don't know if they changed managers at this location. The man that looked like the manager seemed overwhelmed and it wasn't busy either. Do better! read more

This location does an amazing job at getting my order wrong every time. Sometimes it's missing sauce, sometimes it's the completely wrong menu item, or as simple & small as no straw. Today, I pulled up to the window which I was read back my order...completely wrong. I corrected the man, thinking "that was close, glad we caught it." Went home ready to eat & it is still wrong. Instead of a 5 piece spicy tender combo, I get 3 drumsticks & fries. Luckily my drink was correct. How hard is it guys? I just ordered it at the drive thru, corrected it at the window, you apologized that you got it wrong, you put it together right then & there & still managed to do it incorrectly! I called the location explaining what had happened & drove back for the right order. They did include some extra desserts for the inconvenience & scaled my fries up with no additional charge which was cool but like...why can't we get a simple order right the first time? First time getting food poisoning from here. Went thru the drive thru for lunch with my two kiddos like we've been doing for about 6 years now. Ordered the new saucy hot wings, waited out front after being the flavor the cashier put was wrong. Not a big deal. But several hours later I was hugging the toilet sick as a dog for the rest of the evening. My children reported upset tummy's but in my adult age, I just got plain ol sick. There's a first time for everything. Don't know if the new staff contributed to the lack of quality or if the sauce, chicken, macaroni or Cole slaw were defective to begin With. Today was the last time I will ever go to this place. The chicken they gave at the drive thru was burnt not even edible. Mash potato's tasted strange and the biscuit was hard as a rock. I went back and the manager woman copped an attitude with me trying to say, "that's how the chicken should look like." I been going there since they opened, and the food was good at the start. Ever since this 4-person crew started there everything took a dive in quality. When they open in the morning, they have nothing ready to serve, I had to wait over 10 min for my food. The time before. The food looks and tastes like crap, service is super bad, they don't know the difference between a thigh and a breast. WTF you work at a chicken place. If you try calling, the fax machine picks up. They must of took the answering machine off due to the complaint calls. Went back and it was like pulling teeth to get a refund. Got my refund got back to work and now I feel like I have to throw up. I hope to hell I didn't get food poisoning. If the health inspector reads this, you need to go there and inspect this place. The Popeyes location has to be the worst Popeyes restaurant I have ever been too. The drive thru gives a new meaning to slow. The young man working the drive thru had an excuse for everything! Blaming the kitchen for not cooking enough food, the frozen lemonade machine was broken, but I could see it working behind him. When asked for some extra Cajun gravy, was told it was the same price of a small side. This location has given out the gravy to me before in place of the dipping sauce for tenders. It's amazing that the rules change to suit whoever is working. In the future I will head to Cain's or KFC to get some chicken. I hope the owners see this post and reach out to me. read more

I came to location last week for a quick bite to eat. Needless to say, it wasn't quick at all. As I walked into the restaurant I noticed that it wasn't many people in line, so quite naturally I thought I would place my order in no time. Man was I wrong. I stood line for what seems like forever before the staff even recognized those of us waiting to order. Getting frustrated waiting, I yelled out "HELLO, IS ANYONE GOING TO HELP US?!" Even with that, the staff still continued with their backs toward us and worked to fulfill drive-thru orders. So after no acknowledgment, I said "And no one still will say anything?!" It was at that moment that the lady making the to go box orders said, "We will be right with you, we are really busy." There was a bit of back and forth with her for a moment and then she finally came to take our orders. I ordered everything fresh so it took a few before I received the order, which was ok for me. As I went to sit, I noticed that the dining room hadn't been cleaned, so that was a fail too. I am big on giving and receiving good customer service. This is a very important driver for any business. The place was a mess, trash cans overflowing, no lids, no napkins, bathroom floor was overflowing from a floor drain & it stunk & the drink machine just did not work. Dissappinting experience as they were not prepared for anyone it felt like. We forst tried drive through but after 10 minutes of waiting for nobody to move gave up and tried inside. It was chaos and there wasn't even many people there. Poor staff were trying their best but couldn't keep up. Nothing was ready and it took a long time before any food came out. Received 4 of the smallest wings I have ever seen and 4 breasts that appeared to have been sitting under the heat lamp all day. They were so dry you had to drink water to wash them down! It was suppose to be 2 breasts, 2 legs, 2 thighs, and 2 wings. Worst $22.00 spent on food ever. Called the store to tell them of the problem and no one seemed to care.
