I've been hearing sooo much about this place, so of course I had to finally try it. We got super lucky because they were open late. I think until 10 PM if I remember correctly. The outside honestly looked like one of those cozy restaurants you'd see in a K-drama with the glowing lights and busy vibe. When we walked in, it was already pretty packed, and more people kept coming in after us, so that's always a good sign lol. The service was also amazing and everyone was really nice. Obviously we had to order the fried chicken, and I loved that all the sauces came on the side so you could dip and try different flavors without the chicken getting soggy. And the biggest surprise for me was the cheesy corn topped with pork. I would have never thought of that combo myself, but it was actually so good. Creamy, savory, cheesy perfection. We went pretty late at night, so parking was easy for us, but I could definitely see it getting hectic during the day since it's in the same plaza as H Mart. First impression of walking in the door was having the door blocked by 2 employees folding towels or something on a rolling cart. Fine, whatever. After deciding on fried chicken, instead of traditional wings, it took way too long to place an order despite 5 employees (not sure if they were actually employees, it just seemed like 5 people running a co op and hanging out or something) being near us. As we were waiting for our food, we glanced around and saw many odd things like a filing cabinet used to store chopsticks and other items. We wanted to sit at the bar but half of it was taken by employees, boxes of shoes, really random items. After about 15 minutes the chicken came out. No sign of the ranch that we requested, but at least we had food. After looking at the chicken, it became apparent that they had brought us wings. I asked the employee if they had made a mistake, but he let me know that their fried chicken is all wings, despite the word "wings" never appearing on the menu in the fried chicken section. The saving grace here is that the chicken WINGS were quite tasty. The breading was crispy and the sauces were good. We also got the fish sauce one. We're Vietnamese so I was so excited to try it but it was just wayyyyy too salty. Located in the Asian District, I placed a pickup order for wings and pho. The wings were just okay, but by the time I got home they were soggy, so I would definitely recommend ordering the sauce on the side if you're doing takeout. This was our first visit. We found them on yelp and decided to give it a try. I'm sure glad we did! We were greeted when we walked in and were immediately sat. We had a great server that answered all our questions. We decided to the Manchu (pan fried dumplings) and they were delicious! We also ordered the Tipsy fries, they were also hot and delicious! This isn't upsetting, but I definitely found it weird that in the dining room there was a filing cabinet along with a full table of clutter and supplies. WOW. I almost can't post any words because I am speechless. This was such a delicious treat. Hubs and I stopped by here before a visit to HMart and what a smart move that was! I like the sauces at other places better. Sweet and spicy was too sweet for me. Soy and garlic was just okay, not too memorable. The pho had good flavor. It did have a hint of five spice. I don't usually get the five spice flavor at my usual pho place. I could do without it. It did seem a little greasy. At my usual place, I also don't find the soup to be greasy. They had the usual lemon slice, bean sprouts, and thai basil. Atmosphere - No strange or strong odors or smells. I did not visit the restroom. It was not very busy inside. There were maybe six people dining in, a few takeout orders, and three servers, yet nothing moved efficiently.
