We visited Popeye's in Hermiston, OR today (11/14/25) around 6:30 PM. The young lady at the window, long hair in a ponytail (Kelsey), took our order and was absolutely amazing! Her energy and approach with customers made the experience so pleasant. She is definitely someone who deserves recognition--hope the manager considers her for Employee of the Month! As always, the food was cooked fresh and delicious. We don't mind waiting an extra 5-7 minutes for our chicken and sides because quality is worth it. Thank you again, Popeye's Hermiston! read more

Horrible wait times they NEVER HAVE ANY CHICKEN it's always a wait for your order I have made mutiple orders over the last month it's always a wait for chicken or they can't identify pieces of meat ! I order white specifically and get all dark meat the sad thing is it's not a big deal to them if it's an inconvenience to come back and wait another 30 min for them to get your order right 5 out of my last 6 orders had to be exchanged for wrong chicken I was given thighs instead of breast legs in place of wings I realized it's not the brightest people here sometimes but Jesus how hard is it to get an order correct read more

The service was very bad at the Hermiston OR Popeyes location. I have only been there twice and both times I had to wait 12 to 15 minutes to order, then another 35 or more minutes before our order was brought out to us. The food was great, but the service was terrible. read more

we ordered 2 chicken sandwiches around 430 pm today. My sandwich was to be plain . it was so overcoozed that the whole perimeter was so hard I couldn't pick it off. Had to get a knife and cut the extra crispy batter off. Didn't leave much. but a small piece of chicken. im over it. I will not ever go back. And it wasn't busy. I can see why. Ordered online, 8 piece all dark @ 5:21. I got there at 5:32. When I walked in the guy behind the counter was talking with a man that had also placed an online order that was supposed to be ready at 5:30 they hadn't even started his Mac and cheese and told him it would be another 15 minutes for that. He looked at me and said he'd be right with me and proceeded to walk off. At least 5 minutes later he still hadn't returned so I called back if they had an order for Pat . They said yes. 10 minutes later they finally brought it to the counter. It was supposed to be 8 piece all dark meat but when I got home it was mixed. This was not the first time I have ordered online and been disappointed. It was 5:53 when I finally got my dinner. 32 minutes. I ordered the eight-piece chicken after reading the menu, (two of each piece). I was asked if I wanted to wait and told that it would be fifteen minutes. I paid and then waited patiently for my food and found out a short while later that I had waited for four legs and four thighs. I called to speak to the manager and she was no help. She kept making excuses for why there was no white meat and that it takes a long time for the chicken to thaw. I do not recommend this location. They do not honor their own menu. read more

Popeyes is some of the best fried chicken! Sometimes they are a little slow in service but there chicken is cooked perfect at least everything i have had. I am from the south and it taste like southern fried chicken!!! read more

I have given this location plenty of opportunity to fix their issues, and now I will never go back. I order from here about once a month, using the Mobile app. From day one, their service was slow, slow, slow! It should not take 30+ minutes, from time of order placement, to get my "fast food". The most recent visit on Aug. 19, 2025, I ordered a simple meal: 6PC boneless wings, 3PC Tenders, 2 sides, 2 biscuits. I placed order at 11:35 AM, went to pick up by 11:54 and the order was still not ready. There were no employees present to tend to the customers standing at the counter. When a staff member finally did appear, they asked me what I want to substitute the wings for, because they didn't have any wings! They also didn't have any of the sauces I ordered... Went through the drive-thru today for a quick bite for lunch. Felt lucky that there was only two vehicles in front of me. After placing my order and paying at the window, I sat there for a good 3 or 4 minutes until the lady came and apologized and said they were backed up, would I please pull around front and they would bring my order to me. I did as instructed, and parked right in front of the entrance. After sitting there 10 more minutes, a young man wearing an apron came out with bags of food orders. He started to approach me, then turned and went down the line to another truck. It was pretty obvious that guy had been waiting a while too, as he was visibly upset. Ten more minutes go by, and the employee in the apron appears and delivered an order to the people who were behind me in the drivethru!!! As he was going back into the building, I asked him what was holding my order, and he said he was going to get it right now! In the meantime, I have seen several people walk in and get served fairly quickly. Five more minutes and I reached my limit. I walked in and the employee was taking a couples order, but stopped when he saw me. He asked if he could help me, to which I handed him my receipt and told him I wanted a refund. He said I'll go get the manager......... A couple minutes later he returns with my receipt and said the manager would be right out and not only refund me, but still give me the order. When she does show up, no food in her hand, a disgusted look on her face like I was annoying her, and asked if she could help me! Condescending and smart-assed. I handed her my receipt and simply said I wanted a refund. She handed me my money, and as I was walking away, she said " have a nice day"! Why be like that??? So, that's my story. The wait time was extremely long and the service pretty poor overall. They also appear to have an issue keeping food in stock or ready as I have been denied service due to lack of chicken several times. This was my first attempt at going to a popeyes and all three times were bad experiences. I personally will not be recommending this place to anyone and cannot wait for KFC to comeback to Hermiston. read more
