If I could give no stars I would. I got the fish sandwich without tartar sauce. It was a to-go order. When we got home and I saw how greasy the bag was I opened it to see just the damn sandwich in the bag! No wrapping at all! And it was all askew too, like it was just thrown in. When I took a bite it was hard and dry! No moisture at all. What I can't get over is how hard it was...like it was too old. There was no way I could take another bite. Service when we walked in the young boy at the front was on his phone and never said a word to us. He kept looking at his phone. The manager was watching him and never said anything either. When they did talk it was in Spanish no English in facted the boy up front could not understand me at all looked at his manager. I'm not 100% sure she understands me either. They had no ice the ice machine was broken. So you got warm drinks. The only person working was the kid in the back he was cooking. In gacted he had come to the front to help us. He took time to bring are food to us. In my opinion he was the best employee there. He was working harder than the manager and the other 3 employees. Which none of them had to understand any of the english that I was speaking. Which meant it hurt cause I couldn't understand any investment they were speaking. I'm only leaving one Star because that's all I can do. I wish I could negatively give it stars this place is a shit hole. The place is dirty. The employees don't understand a word you're saying your order and they get the word the order wrong from the get-go two times they got two different orders wrong. I highly recommend not going to this Popeyes. There's another one just down the street at the gate of Hillfield go to that one do not come to this one as far as the wings are concerned I think they're killing baby chickens for their wings. I'm impressed with the sandwich, Large breaded chicken with spicy mayo and pickles, these pickles are awesome! they taste like home-made, ill ask for extra next time. The reason for not getting the fifth star is most of the crispy breading was missing from the chicken and was just skin on 1 side, it was cooked all the way witch is a bonus for me. Terrible service! They seemed uninterested in taking our order. When they finally came to the register (after about 5 minutes) I ordered with my wife standing right by my side and after taking my order (a combo meal) they said "Is that it?" My wife was as like "no, I would like ...." They gave us our drink cups and the Coke machine was the slowest machine ever... it seems to freeze consistently. Then we waited for over 1/2 hour for our two meals. Meanwhile we turned several customers with little kids away, telling them about the wait. We ordered 2, 3piece chicken meals, paid for them, cash, got our drinks while waiting. Waiting, waiting, guy who took order said it would be a few mins more, we were ok with that. Heard him tell another guy (think manager) bag the order. He bagged it and put it on counter. Door dash people were coming in and out. We asked about where our order was, was taking too long now. Asked for the receipt which I had asked for, was a good thing . 8 door dash orders later, we are still waiting. Order taker said it would be a little longer. 25 mins later, still no food. Asked for my money back, (manager) asked for my receipt, was doing god knows what on the computer, nothing was happening. Said he couldn't see how I paid, without even looking at the receipt. His co-worker showed him on the receipt, that it was cash. Manager was one who gave our order to DoorDash person. Now they prob get a bad review for wrong order. We ate our food so fast that I didn't have a chance to take a picture! We did the $10 dinner for too and it was delicious. My favorite dipping sauce is the sweet heat (it has a little kick). New update. No improvement in 2 years. This location is the worst Popeye's I have ever been to. I would not come back after the treatment we received 2 Years ago, but my wife likes the brand. She has come here a few times since but as usual, something is wrong. So I tried on 6/8/24 at approximately 5 pm and it was because of time limiting me that I went. As soon as I pulled up I knew it was going to happen again. Waited forever for a person I could barely understand to acknowledge I was there. I've given this location another chance and they are doing a lot better with having inventory, fast service, and amazing friendly staff. I haven't had any mistakes with orders and they finally have chicken sandwiches the past 2 times we've gone. I'm very impressed and excited with how they have bounced back. Fun to talk to and did a great job getting our order filled and out the door. They even convinced us to get apple pies, we never get apple pies. Okay so update, I came back to get a chicken sandwich a solid 3 days after they announced it was back. The drive through was backed up into the road and not moving and the lobby was the same. Severely understaffed and unprepared to take orders. All the staff was slothing around aimlessly wandering the kitchen. No communication and no speed or work ethic at all. I don't know what happened to the people that serves me a few weeks back because this trip was a DISASTER. I am left hungry standing in line with no food and no hope of getting it soon.... I'm going to update one more time as I have now ordered and am sitting in my chair. I would say the cashier is the saving Grace for me. But also to be fair, this has happened way more than two times. This is the second I've had to contact popeye's. It'll be interesting to see if they actually address the issue, or if this is just how they plan to continue doing business. My advise to anyone else looking for fried chicken, look for a mom & pop restaurant or local chain. C&B Maddox is a great option if you can get there before they close. This was my first time at this location. The entrance and exit to the parking lot at a busy traffic time is very difficult. There is only one way in and out, and you are at the mercy of the other drivers who have likely been waiting in a line of cars on the main road for a while. The store is very much like all Popeye's. The staff was friendly, and I ordered my food to go. I tried the Shrimp Po' Boy sandwich and a side of the green beans. The sandwich could have used a bit more sauce as the deep fried shrimp was very dry and dusty. I could not have eaten the sandwich without a drink for sure. The green beans were tasty with a touch of bacon flavor to spice them up. There wasn't much special about my meal, so I probably won't fight my way back to this location through heavy traffic anytime soon. read more

My first experience was ok but probably not anything that will bring me back. I tried the chicken strips and the spicy chicken sandwich The chicken was crispy and had pretty food flavor. It was a bit dry. The spicy chicken sandwich was fairly mild compared to the spicy chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A. For sides, I got the Mac and cheese, biscuits, and mashed potatoes. The best part of the meal was the biscuits. They were crispy on the outside but really soft on the inside. They had a rich buttery flavor. I had the food to go so I added a bit of honey from home and they were phenomenally delicious biscuits. Everything else was ok. Not bad, just not great. With other chicken choices nearby, I'm putting Popeyes at the back of the line. read more

Where's management? Never more than one drive thru line open at all times. So what should be a 15min max stop takes 45min because people going through the drive thru never know what they want, or the workers are taking their sweet time. No ones inside being served so what took so long? Even at a place that serves one main dish item...chicken.
