I pull up to the window and after waiting in the window for her to get off her phone call and finally brings me a drink which she asked what kind of drink three different times informs me that they don't have any chicken tenders and I'll need to pull forward. I said how long is it gonna be and she said we just dropped them now so 15 minutes. Now this is after I've already paid them. This idiot could have told me ahead of time they didn't have any chicken tenders. I'm not about to ask to try to get my money back because that would create another shit storm. If I could put a zero star I would. I have never experienced anything like what I've seen tonight ANYWHERE! We've pulled up and saw that the line at the drive was very long, so we decided to go inside. There was a lot of people inside as well, and we quickly realized they were having issues keeping up with the orders. We waiting 10 min to give our order and thought maybe it wasn't that bad after all. We quickly realized our waiting has just begun. Among the people waiting, there was an elderly man who was there 20 minutes before us and still waiting. 40 minutes into waiting they decided to tell everyone waiting on chicken tenders that they had ran out and they needed to pick something else. This elder was one of those people. I can understand being under staffed, but the ladies working there did not seem to know what they were doing. They were extremely rude and yelled at this man who was patiently waiting even when we got in, and washes other people got served, including folks in the drive-through while he sat there. I won't be back and I will definitely be contacting the franchise owner and brand corporate. There were several people there there unsatisfied that night and they gave the incorrect orders over and over. After accepting the substitute for the chicken tenders, they still messed up our order and gave us spicy boneless nuggets when we asked for mild. There was one lady in particular to be the manager who was extremely rude and bullying the other employees as well as the customers. They delivered someone else's order or either they paid no attention to what I ordered. I spent $83 for a 16 piece family meal, regular chicken. My three sides were 2 large red beans and rice and 1 mashed potatoes and gravy. I paid an extra $7+ for large Mac n Cheese. It came with 8 biscuits. I received spicy chicken, no mashed potatoes, no biscuits and some kind of Spanish spicy rice. I tried and tried to call them and they never answered the phone until the next day. Mrs Pugterrier picked up drive through for National Fried Chicken day so expected a wait. Was told 20 minutes and had to wait around 5, sure can't complain there. Fresh, hot and the usual Popeyes fair, no complaints. Not a very exciting review but what else can I say? If you have NEVER had Popeyes, just go. Update: After I posted my review I read the old reviews, I never read them first so my opinion and impression isn't swayed. But like to read after I post for some reason. Chicken was mediocre. The place was out of white meat. I was fine replacing it with dark meat because I didn't want to wait 15-20minutes. It is fast food of course. I would have given it a higher star but the lack of effort ruined it for me. Would probably never go back to any Popeyes based on this experience: The reason I go to Popeyes is for the mash potatoes and Cajun gravy. It is the ONLY reason I choose Popeyes over KFC and churches. So I ask for mash potatoes and EXTRA gravy, it was the family size so it was in the bigger container. Didn't think I was asking for anything over the top. But I was told "no it only comes one way, cannot add any more gravy." I was tired from the beach so didn't make a big deal of it. Figured the container was full so can't add any more. I come and there is at least an inch of air space on top of the potatoes. The amount of gravy they gave me was minuscule at most. I didn't even eat half of the potatoes yet and it was already dry and Barron of gravy. I should have just paid less and gotten the smaller size. Or I should have just went to KFC. Just a tiny bit of effort to scoop 2-3 spoons of gravy for me would have made my day, I mean there was plenty of space. Or learn how to upsell and charge me for the gravy. I went out of my way to go there so I would have paid extra for the gravy. There's been so many bad experiences with several locations over the course of 2 years however, this location IS BY FAR the worst! It's actually shameful and extremely disheartening that they still remain in business. People need to use the resources available to demand better service or proactively get these businesses shut down! If this site would give me an opportunity to post a ZERO star rating, I would. First of all, I LOVE Popeyes Chicken. I've been going to other Popeyes for over 40 years now. This is about the Popeyes on Schillinger Road in Mobile. It's the closest one for me to go to and I used to go there a few times a month. However, I don't know what has happened with this particular store, but I will NEVER go back to this one again. It should be noted that I have an allergy to dark meat chicken. While I used to love ALL chicken, about 10 years ago, I started to get hives whenever I would eat chicken. I went to a doctor and, after several tests, he said that I am allergic to something in dark meat chicken. I can eat white meat okay, but not dark meat. So, whenever I order chicken, I ALWAYS make sure I tell them that I have to have white meat. Now, at other Popeyes in the Mobile area, I haven't had too many problems about that. I get what I want. This one, about a third of the time that I order chicken, and remind them a couple of times, I get dark meat chicken. About a weeks ago, I went into this Popeyes and was able to go inside and order at the counter. I prefer to eat inside because they get the order right most of the time inside rather than ordering at the drive through. This time, I couldn't eat there because I needed to go home, so I placed my order with the girl at the register, reminding her that I needed white meat. I got a 4 piece with cole slaw and a drink. When she called me, I went to the front to pick up my order and I didn't check it as I should have. I did ask her was she sure that it was all white meat. She said Yes, she had picked the pieces up herself. I thanked her and drove home about 7 miles away. When I got home, I opened up the box and was greeted with 4 pieces of DARK meat!! I was livid and drove directly back to the store with the receipt. When I got there, I asked for the manager. The girl at the counter, a different one this time, asked if she could help me. I told her IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that I wanted to talk to THE manager. She then went to the back and another girl came out asking me about the problem. I asked her if she was the manager and she said that ALL OF THEM are managers. I was getting madder and madder and madder! I then just told her that I wanted my money back and that they would never see me in that store again. She gave me my money, no apology whatsoever, and I prepared to leave. About this time another lady, wearing a pink shirt came from the back and identified herself as THE manager. By this time, there were several people behind me waiting to place their order. I told her the problem and why I had come back. She did apologize and offered to remake my order and I, begrudgingly said okay. She asked me what all I needed. I told her that I had put everything into the box as soon as I saw that they had messed up and to just replace that. The only thing I left at home was the drink. She remade it while I waited. While she was doing that, one of the people behind me asked what happened and I gave them a brief account. He said that this was the worst Popeyes in Mobile about doing that and he had experienced that same problem as well. Another one agreed as well. So, it wasn't only me. The manager gave me my bag and I told her as I left, "Thank you, but I would like for you to give me a phone number of the franchise office because I want to contact them with my dissatisfaction. This is not nearly the first time this has happened and he needs to know what I will NEVER set foot in this Popeyes again." She told me that she didn't have a number that she could give me, but that the franchise owner operates out of his car and only has a cell phone that she couldn't give me. She told me that I could fill out the survey on the back of the receipt and that he regularly reads them. I then walked out, went home and filled out the back of the receipt with my contact information and haven't heard a word yet. I'm not going to hold my breath until he does call. I just wanted to give a review of this store because as a long time customer of Popeye's in 4 different southern states, this is the worst one of all of them. BTW, when I got my REMADE order home, I got all white, but she forgot to put my cole slaw in there. So, they couldn't even get the REMADE ORDER right!!! read more

Last visit Friday 4-29-2022. This place is a joke. Put in online order, which I was next door when I placed it. My order consisted of a 2 piece chicken, a regular red beans & rice, mac & cheese, order for one person. Went got in drive thru line & was in line about 10 or 15 minutes. Finally got to speaker, told her I was there for an online order, pull forward please, still had a couple vehicles ahead of me. Finally got to window, she quotes my order & I said yes, then she had me to park up & told me they would bring my order to me. That was when I really wanted to come unglued. Thinking to myself, how in the hell are they going to know where I parked. Well, I decided to go inside to keep me from waiting another 30 minutes. Inside, got my turn for cashier, told her the situation. She got somebody's attention which I guess was the shift manager, well this person tried to tell me that a fresh batch of dark meat was coming up. I replied, ma'am, that is not the problem, I told her I had been in drive thru for about 10 or 15 minutes & my order is still not ready. She did not converse with me, she immediately went behind counter to jump on my order. When the order was ready, they called a name out which me & this other guy had same first name. He says to me, that is probably your order, so I stepped up to counter & yes it was my order. By the time I got my order, my patience was very thin. The people that was prepping orders seemed so disorganized. I also got the impression that the food delivery orders was causing some conflict here also along with the onsite orders. You are there to do a job and service your customers. I hold the managers responsible for the employee attitudes and service for this location. Ive never seen another Popeyes quite like this one. They are less than a mile from my house and I refuse to eat there. I've seen employees on their phone with customers waiting to order and nasty long hair just swinging in the wind.
