The menu sure has changed since I was in a Popeyes. Gone are the shrimp Po-boy and onion rings. A shrimp Po-boy is a New Orleans staple and what I associate with their "Louisiana Kitchen" slogan. But at least they still serve shrimp. I ordered the Popcorn Shrimp and Red Beans & Rice as my side. I will say they fulfilled my tray with everything I needed including a cup lid and straw plus they asked me if I want honey or jelly for my biscuit. The shrimp were not too small as you might think considering they were the popcorn style. The menu says you get a quarter pound so the serving size was adequate. The taste was different from what I remember but still good. The red beans were not too spicy for me like they used to be. And the biscuit was excellent. I did not visit the restroom. Parking was adequate.

In the words of the immortal Adam Sandler in the role of little Nicky I quote Popeyes is freaking awesome. Even though the place was a little busy and under staffed I got my food in a timely manner. And when I got home it was still warm and delicious. This location is a little tight so even though there is ample parking you can still get blocked in. But as usual the chicken was awesome. Fries are some of the best out there. Biscuit are good. I don't eat Mac and cheese but my wife said it was some of the best she had had. It was clean and staff was really friendly especially for being so short on workers.

There was a metal Spike stuck in my my piece of chicken, It was pushed all the way in when I saw it I thought it was a feather and I pulled out a piece of metal that could've killed me if I just took a bite. Absolutely insane I will be going to the store ASAP demanding to figure out who put metal in my food

Chicken sandwich very good but no reason to just pour my fries in the bag. I also wish you could add tomato and lettuce but they said no, just pickle and Mayo.

Drive thru only. Takes 4-5 minutes for each car. Chick fil a puts them to shame. How can they even keep the place open?

Not much to say on the food - menu and quality are the same as any other Popeye's I've ever been to.

The front desk attendant at the hotel gave us a double thumbs up on the nearby Coachman Restaurant and Lounge so we made our way over with rather high expectations. We have to admit that at first glance the Coachman doesn't suggest a superior dining experience. A somewhat tired exterior and an outdoor deck populated by smokers gave us pause but we pressed on and could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the food, drink, and service. We started with a Casamiga Ranch Water and a pint of the local amber ale. The drinks arrived in frosted glasses with the perfect degree of crispness. The star here is the prime rib. We had the 12 ounce prime which was perfectly rare and served with a large dollop of horseradish as well as a medium rare prime rib sandwich. The meat was flawlessly seasoned and impeccably tender. Our visit to the Coachman reinforced the adage that one ought not judge a book by its cover. We don't know if our adventures will take us through Plainfield again but if they do we will prioritize a meal at the Coachman!

The place has a great ambience very welcoming. The hostess greeted me very promptly and with a great smile, my server Chloe was fantastic very well informed and suggested I try the prime rib. I'm so glad I did. It was fantastic. I took the smaller cut the 8 ounce they gave you two sides. I chose the French onion soup and baked potato and everything was great. The 8 ounce was plenty big with the two sides so I'm glad I didn't get the larger one. I will be back if I'm in the area. She suggested I try the pork tenderloin next time so I will do that. Keep up the great work.

Tonight, I opted for medium spice and it was spot on. My dining partner tried tonight's special which was Sizzling Shrimp. Stir fried shrimp and vegetables. She said it was perfectly done and having tried some of the shrimp, I agree. Very tasty and if I see it on the special board next time I go, it would be my order. We both opted for dessert this evening. Dining partner had the sticky rice with custard (didn't get a pic), and it was really good. I had the fried bananas with vanilla ice cream. The bananas were perfectly done, just the right amount of breading and wonderfully caramelized. Portion sizes on both desserts were very generous and well priced. Service was great as always.

We were able to talk without disturbing others. The lunch menu offers Thai basics with choice of meat and heat levels. Lunches come with spring rolls and good pricing. We shared an order of the Chicken Satay and Crab Rangoons. The apps were beautifully plated and delicious. I had my go-to Drunken Noodles with vegetables (no meat) and medium heat. The vegetables were ultra fresh and still crispy with a lot of flavor. I loved the medium heat level. The spring roll was crispy and perfect. My daughter ordered the lunch Tofu Pad Thai but received and was charged for the dinner portion. It wasn't a big deal for us and we didn't say anything. She ended up taking half home. The Pad Thai tasted delicious. Our granddaughter ordered the chicken nugget meal off the kid's menu. She didn't like the nuggets, which I agreed were cheap frozen and over processed. The fries were very good. Jackie, our server, was polite and attentive. She gave us time to settle and check the menu. She brought water and took our orders. She even brought a covered water for our toddler granddaughter. All in all, good experience and I would return.
