First of all we ordered our food thru the drive thru at 11:14 a.m. and was told to pull to the front along with other cars. We waiting over 30 minutes and had to go inside and still no chicken was ready. The manager who I asked for never came to offer an explanation and the counter girl didnt speak good English. Okra tasted old, gizzards were too salty and that came from someone who likes salt. Coleslaw dressing was overdone making it hard to eat. Haven't been here in a while. But my wife wanted Popeyes today. I got there and they had a lobby full of upset customers. I stood at the register for 10 mins until a customer told me I had to use the kiosk. Non of the workers said anything. I ordered at the kiosk and everything seemed more expensive. I waited 20 mins for my food. When they called my number some Hispanic guys walked in. Walked straight to the register and one of the Hispanic workers walked up and took there order and also gave them a discount. Then the Hispanic worker proceeded to take other Hispanic customers orders and gave them discounts as well. Pure spit in the face. I wasn't greeted when I walked in or did I receive any type of customer service and that is sad. If we can't be treated equal with equal service Plz let me know because I don't mind spending my hard earned money somewhere else. This place is A+++. I showed up 15 min before close with a huge order for a crew. They jumped right to it and never batted an eye. I apologized for hitting them so late, but they wouldn't have it and told me they were happy to get us taken care of. I was worried I'd get bad attitudes but they were courteous and professional. Let me tell you my bad Popeyes experience tonight and why I won't be back at this location (note: I go every week). The speaker is broken. But they have a special posted (see picture) that we decide to order. After waiting in the drive through for 10 minutes we get to the window. I get to the window to order it. It's a 10 piece, 2 sides and 5 biscuits for 21.99. Me- I want to order the 10 piece special Employee- we don't have a 10 piece special, we have a 9 piece. Me- I'm telling you there is a 10 piece special poster. 10 pieces, 2 sides, 5... Employee (interrupts me)- I'm telling you (negative tone) we don't have that. Me- so you mean to tell me you aren't going to honor what you have posted? Employee- I SAID we don't have that. Me- can you get your manager because how you're talking me is not ok. Employee- walks off to get manager and says "but I don't really care though." So the manager and I talk. He's far more polite but for me the damage is done. His name tag says he's the general manager. He repeats the same thing she does but just with more customer service. He even goes and says he checks the sign and it isn't there. He offers to make the 9 Piece order but at this point, knowing I saw the sign and not trusting the employee previously to handle my order, I politely refuse. I go back to the drive through and take a picture of the sign with the 10 piece special. Now mind you the manager says he checked the signs. I go in the lobby, politely wait, and show the manager the picture. Now mind you, my exchange with the manager is fine. He's nice, he's trying the best he can to handle this situation and acknowledges that his employee has been disrespectful to other customers. I show him the picture and he says"oh it's on the skinny board huh." I said "yes, like I told you I wouldn't have known that special had I not seen it posted." He offers to honor it inside but I again politely refuse. Just tell him I wanted him to see so no one else has this issue. The manager, I appreciate. He tried. That employee, awful. To talk to a customer that way (who was right by the way) and then to spout off "I don't even care." Even my 16 year old daughter was like"wow she's rude, I can't imagine being like that with a customer." read more
