Tried this Popeyes and it did not disappoint! I got three chicken tenders that were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. Paired them with red beans, which were just as delicious. The customer service was great, and the restaurant had a nice, quiet atmosphere that made the experience even better. Drove across town to use a coupon I received in the mail for 2 chicken sandwich meals at 7pm. When placing my order they said they couldn't make my order via drive thru. When very nicely asking why, they said 'were out'. Curious as to why at 7 pm do you just run out of your popular items when the place was empty? The manager jumped on pretty rude to say they were frozen as if I was supposed and to know and have a nice night. She made no effort to try offer me anything else... or hey I can get you in 15 mins if you want to come back or wait. They just disregarded me and my want to get something there. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Website shows the location closes at 12am, I pulled up at 10pm wanting to place an order and the worker told me they were only taking mobile orders. I then proceed to place my mobile order, which by the way is almost $30, to show up to the window to be told they don't have any of the items I placed. I then ask if they can cancel my order to which they reply they cannot, I would have to do so on the app/website. I check the website which then tells me I cannot cancel due to it already being processed, so the store would have to cancel it on my behalf. Again, the staff is no help because they state they're "about to be off" therefore we can "come back tomorrow to fix it." I don't want my order tomorrow, I want it the day it was placed. Not one manager came to talk to us, instead they continued mopping even though the store wasn't closing until 2 hours later. I still have not been able to contact customer service nor get my food. Horrible place, horrible location, horrible service, and horrible management. I WILL NOT be coming back. They put me on hold for 10 minutes so I tried calling again and no one answered. When I got to the store the manager wouldn't let me swap the fries for red beans/rice. She was very rude. When I got home the fries were cold and they screwed up my order. I emailed the owner - he responded to my email but didn't offer to fix anything. Trash restaurant with slow and rude staff. They give zero care or concern for your food let alone their attitude toward you. You'll stand at the counter some time just waiting to be greeted. I've easily waited 30 minutes for a pick up order that was an online order received prior to my arrival. The inside is dirty and the counter is grimy. I wouldn't eat here, food borne illness is a real thing especially with chicken combined with staff that do not care at all. Major kudos to this staff on Monday who were doing everything they could to keep customers happy and the drive-thru moving. They are completely overwhelmed and the guy at the window still took the time to bless me as he gave me my online order. He really went above and beyond when he ran me down on the side street to give me an item that was accidentally left out of my order. Super nice! It is so important, as customers to remember to practice patience, understanding and great courtesy during this time as businesses are struggling to keep staff. Are you hungry? Well don't come to this place!! Went to this sorry establishment at 9:30pm when they close at 11:00pm. The lobby was "closed" so I pulled into the drive thru. After waiting for 10 minutes while honking and asking if anyone was there I pulled up to the window to see if anyone was working. There were two people working and didn't pay me any mind. I had to knock on the window repeatedly for them to come over and see what I wanted. After asking if they were still open, the employee said yes, and then closed the window. After knocking again I told her that I was in the drive thru because I actually wanted to give this franchise some money for some chicken. She told me that they were only taking door dash orders at this time and then shut the window in my face. I called KFC to see if they would still be open by the time I drove over there. The hardworking KFC employee told me that she would begin cooking my food while I was on the way there, otherwise they would probably not have any chicken for me. So if you ever want some fried chicken on this side of town, Popeyes seems like a nice and convenient place. But they will leave you out to dry with their lazy employees who could care less about the well being of the general public. After taking a day to think over how this interaction of fast food chains would shape my decision making for the rest of my life, I will never give another penny to any Popeyes restaurant again. If the employees are that bad, the managers that hired them aren't much better. And if the managers don't care, that means the regional managers surely don't care about the customers. I cannot even provide a review of the food from this particular Popeyes, however, I have visited it four times since I moved to Tyler. My first time visit was encountered by the Popeye's stating that they did not have electricity, even though they had lights on inside their kitchen. I was disappointed but went somewhere else for dinner. A few months later, I attempted to visit this same Popeyes attempting to make an order at the drive thru. No one answered, so I drove up to the window where I was told that their technology was not working and that they were not currently open....again disappointment struck me as I love my Popeyes chicken. The third time, I got closer to actually making an order to be told that they were currently out of chicken. Today....was the finale for this particular Popeye's. I was able to go into the fast food chain and begin to make an order....."I would like to order a two piece mild with red beans and rice, please and a two piece spicy with mashed potatoes and gravy". The young lady proceeded to say...."we are out of mild chicken", so I said, "okay, then give me both combos spicy". The young lady proceeds to say, "we only have classic chicken". I think to myself....what is classic chicken? I proceed to ask her "what is classic chicken"? It was then that the girl puts her hand up and tells me to be quiet as she is currently listening to another conversation that is going on in the back of the kitchen and she will get with me when she is done. I stood patiently waiting for her to come back and she told me that they only had the spicy chicken. So I asked her to make the two orders with the spicy with one change being Cole slaw instead of mashed potatoes. I wanted to make sure that she had my order right, so i asked if she would mind reading it back to me to make me. The young lady stated, "I KNOW WHAT YOU SAID". I was taken back by the way she said this and her attitude. By that time, I was done with trying to be cordial, but with her attitude I knew I was not going to purchase anything at that Popeyes if that was how the service at the front counter acted, I could only imagine how the employees in the back were. You know, if you are not happy with your job, find the job that makes you happy. The people that come through that front door of that Popeyes are the ones that help to pay your paycheck. We come in there because we love the great Popeyes food chain, however, when you have terrible customer service that just keeps happening every time you go to a particular Popeyes, it can put a bad label on the chain itself. I will never return to this facility again and I warn anyone that is thinking about going there think twice, at least, until management can get some good employees and some good training programs going in that facility. read more

Been to many Popeyes and this is the worst one in the country hands down! Only one of the 2 drive thru signs work and don't have a sign saying that it's not working. Put an order in online for pick up before I left my house and when I get there, inside is closed and they are telling everyone is gonna be a 25-30 minute wait, when I put my order in 15 minutes before getting there. So I waited another 35 minutes after they told me to pull to the back and wait. I had to drive back through the drive thru to get my food with no apology or anything. I asked for a side of gravy for the tenders. I paid 3.49 for hardly anything. They wouldn't answer their phone when I tried to call. I had to drive back to get the chicken sandwich (I didn't discover all of the other problems until I got home). They didn't seem to care that a mistake was made.
