Once, just ONCE I would like to get a correct order. I had them repeat my order and they promised what was in the box was correct. I ordered 6 pieces of white meat - got 4 wings and 1 thigh. Drive thru is a joke, The speaker is always broken They don't care about their customers inside because the drive thru it's first but you do your drive thru line and when you get to the person they don't have something and you just have to suck it up.. That being said the management of this restaurant is remiss in short staffing this restaurant to the point we all got to know each other while waiting in line today. I have been to many Popeye's in my time. But the one in Port Charlotte Florida on Sandhill Blvd is by far the worst. They are always running out of everything, inside is closed most of the time, and rude customer service. Tonight i waited in line for over an hour. The microphone was not working and everyone had to order, pay, & pick up at the same window. Very time consuming. After waiting all tbat time I finally get tip the window and now the food Is gone. Second time I have been here since they opened and most likely my last. Drove up to a full drive thru and figured I would just go inside so it would be faster, turns out their whole dining room was shut down due to short staffing. So I join the long line. Waited THIRTY Minutes in a drive thru!!! Then I drive off and check my food- missing a chicken sandwich AND both biscuits that come with the meals!!! Unbelievably frustrating and slowest drive thru I've ever been in!!!! The lady at the drive thru window was polite though and made sure she got me the missing items in a very timely matter. We get up to the speaker and sit there for a good 7 minutes before we move to the window. The employees just look at us confused and open the window wondering what we want and we ask if they are open and they said yes just no one is on the headset... umm okay? keep in mind it says this place closes at 12am!! Okay so here we go. Ordered online and I showed up 30 minutes later. Upon arrival nobody was at the counter and the restraint was trashed. Looked like a tornado went through there. A friendly lady did ask me what I needed and got on my order right away. However she did everything while 4 other people stood around cussing, singing, or on their phones. Then about half way through making my order there seemed to be an argument going on outside with who I think was the manager and an employee, shortly after, other employees partook in the verbal argument cussing, yelling, and flailing their arms like children. Had to have been one of the most awkward experiences I've had in a long time. But God bless the lady up front, she just put her head down and got my order done. From my distraught experience I can easily say I will NEVER EVER return here. Food safety was greatly disregarded also, staff touching their phones with gloves on and proceeding to not change those gloves to handle food. Spare yourself the trouble. Besides this location being completely nasty, they are always out of certain items (anything that isn't spicy chicken), and they have the worse, nastiest, employees. They talk to you like it's your fault they are working there (and not in a good way). The managers don't even care.They'll stand there and let them talk to you any kind of way. The owner needs to just close this location already, or sell to someone else that can hire better workers (that isn't Tracy Phillips), as well as make sure they are always stocked with food.
