The location is off Birdneck road in between General Booth and Virgina Beach Blvd. parking is adequate for non baseball game times. I found the lot tidy with trash cans in the area. The area is flush with tall pines which provide both beauty and shade. The park boast a baseball field, a newer playground and full court basketball. There are two small shelters with a few picnic tables. No physical restroom, however a port a potty was placed in the parking lot off to the side. It's unsightly. The ball field is overall the best thing about Seatack Park in my opinion. Not even close to every VB park has one. 3.5, rounding up.

Sneaks and rubber cleats ok, NO METAL SPIKES. t's a tad far from home but the smiles on players' faces make it worth the drive. Portable mounds and base plugs make the field versatile for multiple age divisions. Some spectators back their cars up near the visitors bullpen, pop their tailgates, hop in the back and enjoy the view. Enough space around outer perimeter and bleachers for Covid distancing. Bullpens on both sides for warming up pitchers and catchers. There's a full sized grass field nearby that's slightly less kept. Sadly, if there are two games happening simultaneously, the mid sized parking lot can get pretty full. 2 porta-potties on-site. Apple Maps GPS gets turned around when trying to nav here.

After entry through the glass door on 22nd street, our time was spent in the main first floor practice area. I either stood at a long counter or sat in some chairs scattered for observers, both behind protective netting. My boys were taken through their paces in 1 hour shifts sorted by age. Was it super fancy or an exact replica of game conditions? No. Did the decent sized multi-purpose turfed space allow baseball fundamentals to be conducted indoors on a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon? Yes. Typical Ghent on-street parking with challenges during times of high volume facility use (like a league wide eval). There are a few parking lots on the other side of 22nd street but do so at the risk of CHKD or retail shops' towing enforcement stipulations.

Year 2 of playing in this league and we love it!…read more Lots of fields, coaches are all great. Teams all have appropriate equipment. Lots of local small businesses as sponsors for the teams. Registration fees are fair and you have the option to fundraise with candy to help the association. Every registered child gets a team shirt and hat. Lots of play time! Currently in the T-ball league and the coaches are great at teaching the fundamentals as well as preparing kids for the next phase - coach pitch. Concessions are run by volunteer parents and are open for every game. CASH ONLY! lots of choices from bagged chips to fresh made burgers and hot dogs. When spring really hits BRING THE BUG SPRAY! Fields tend to get small swarms of biting gnats. Feels like a family here. But just like a family there tends to be a bit of miscommunication concerning events, sign ups, equipment, etc. It's normally fixed in a timely manner but it's easy to get frustrated and can be very confusing for first year families unfamiliar with any sport leagues. We will continue to be patrons of this league. The very minor negatives are far, far outweighed by the absolute joy my kid gets participating in this league.

Unusual for VB Parks Department to not be on top of. The location has high visibility off Great Neck Rd. It's North of Virginia Beach Blvd. parking is by a small gravel lot. Overflow nearby business across the street on off hours I suspect. The landscape is non existent, but not needed. The grass was freshly mowed and tall pines add shade and beauty. Unfortunately there was a lot of debris around the basketball court. I would consider the area to be safe. London Bridge Park is straight forward. It has a ball field and full court basketball court that's it No shelter, no restrooms and no playground. I saw at least one trash can at the entrance and it was within it boundaries. I have never witnessed a baseball game in progress when passing by. It has a great infield and fenced in back stop. The outfield is level and not fenced in. There are no lights for night play. It is open to the public and assume there is a schedule of games during the season. The full court basketball is not regulation length. It has a concrete floor that looks newer. The hoops and nets in great shape. No lights for after dark play. It appears the debris was recent, like probably last night with it being Friday. All of the trash was located within 25 feet of a can. Since I had the time I picked it all up. If your interested in baseball or basketball before sunset this is your place. 3.5 rounding down with no amenities and debris.

I came here after going to a sports card show in Norfolk. It wasn't a planned visit but I was just…read morelooking for something interesting to look at since I had a lot of free time and the weather was nice on Saturday. I thought it would be a lot larger but the spot is quite small but it is very nice to walk around. There are also lots of nice areas adjacent to the garden and terrace as well. I parked in front of the garden went around it and then found the USS Wisconsin and the Naval museum just past the garden. I went around and finished checking out the other side of the garden after. The parking was free for 2 hrs in front of the garden and it seemed like parking in general was plentiful and open this weekend. It looked like college dormitories around the garden and some other residential areas around the middle of downtown Norfolk. There were many nice plants in the garden, the terrace was nice but not open as far as I could tell, and the koi pond was nice if someone would clean out the pond scum from the fish pond. There were small bridges over the water and multiple water fountains in the koi pond. There were a few benches to sit on if you wanted to just relax or meditate in the garden. Overall, it was a nice garden but it is not something to go downtown to see, but it is a nice additional thing to see if you are going to the USS Wisconsin and the Naval museum or if you staying in downtown area. Lots of people were exercising (walking and jogging) so it is a nice scene to pass by if you are doing that.
