The park is very clean overall. -- The Playground -- The playground area with wood chip mulch is best for elementary school aged children. The equipment is in good condition and is labeled as for ages 2-12; with close supervision it's good for younger children, and those on the higher range might enjoy the variety of climbing equipment. There are baby swings, one intermediate swing, and regular swings. There's also a teeter-totter. The playground is in partial to full shade depending on the time of day. -- Benches & Pavilions -- There is one pavilion with one picnic table beneath it. There is one trash can not far from it. There are several benches along the perimeter of the playground. -- Walking & Wooded Areas -- It has one paved path going from one side of the playground to a bridge that crosses the creek and connects to the adjoining neighborhood. There is also a wooded area you could walk through to get a moderate walk in. -- Sporting Equipment -- There are no other equipment options other than the playground. -- Amenities -- There does not seem to be any toilet amenities, so not ideal for a long visit. -- Parking -- Street parking only. Parking is prohibited directly in front of the park. -- Things to Note -- Mosquitoes!! We wore bug spray to the park but had to leave, get more, and apply it heavily in order to return. The park has lights at night. -- Takeaway -- This is a nice, quiet neighborhood park. The main attraction is its playground. If you're in the area and armed with bug spray, it's worth a visit for children. I wouldn't suggest traveling out of your way for it though as there are lots of other parks in VB to enjoy, many with more offerings.

Unusual for VB Parks Department to not be on top of. The location has high visibility off Great Neck Rd. It's North of Virginia Beach Blvd. parking is by a small gravel lot. Overflow nearby business across the street on off hours I suspect. The landscape is non existent, but not needed. The grass was freshly mowed and tall pines add shade and beauty. Unfortunately there was a lot of debris around the basketball court. I would consider the area to be safe. London Bridge Park is straight forward. It has a ball field and full court basketball court that's it No shelter, no restrooms and no playground. I saw at least one trash can at the entrance and it was within it boundaries. I have never witnessed a baseball game in progress when passing by. It has a great infield and fenced in back stop. The outfield is level and not fenced in. There are no lights for night play. It is open to the public and assume there is a schedule of games during the season. The full court basketball is not regulation length. It has a concrete floor that looks newer. The hoops and nets in great shape. No lights for after dark play. It appears the debris was recent, like probably last night with it being Friday. All of the trash was located within 25 feet of a can. Since I had the time I picked it all up. If your interested in baseball or basketball before sunset this is your place. 3.5 rounding down with no amenities and debris.

The game and fish officer that patrols this area is nice and always seams to be around, and has good advice. We fished here a few weeks ago and caught white perch, spotted trout and croakers. All under limit and all released alive. Would check their website for the weekends that this area is closed due to hunting.

At Woodstock, I haven't seen anyone picking up garbage or any rangers. They have a skate park that is pretty big and has a beautiful design. A full design tennis court. I think it's also cool how they teach you how storm water works. I used to be a water treatment operator, so it intrigued me. Kids usually leave things on the table or at the park. The first time, I found a kids purse and wanted to turn it in, but no one was available. The second time I saw another girl's purse and a Sonic The Hedgehog backpack. I had asked around if it was their kids. I guess this park is so trusting that they will leave things anywhere. That's a bonus.

This year was my first time attending the Fourth of July firework display here. My children had an…read moreabsolutely amazing time and I enjoyed watching them have the time of their lives. There were vendors for food (the lines were not terrible while I was in line), but bringing food and coolers of your own were also allowed. The music, firworks, and energy of the crowd made for a good experience . If ever attending, please expect departure to be ridiculous. The parking deck was nearly at capacity when we arrived so we had to park at the very top, the elevator lines were long (we had a stroller) and the elevators were slow due to so many people using them. Despite this everyone was cooperative and rudeness did not exist that night ( thank God). Definitely don't mind going again.

This parked is located just off Witchduck Rd. and beside Aragona Village Presbyterian Church. It has NO affiliation with the church other than they nicely assist with debris luck up. The city maintains it. So what you will find is a fully equipped playground with swings in a nicely manicured bed of mulch. A picnic shelter, a full court basketball court and plenty of field for kids to run around in. The playground equipment is for 12&U. What you won't find are restroom facilities. The church cannot be used. I found the park immaculate. Not the smallest piece of debris. Parking is plentiful in a gravel lot adjacent to the park. These little recreational gems are every where at the beach. Enjoy them, our tax dollars support.

He loved the playground and despite being an almost toddler, he was still able to navigate the park. He really enjoyed climbing things and going down all of the slides (especially the swirly one). The park was well kept and clean, and big enough to share with multiple kids of all ages. I will definitely be taking him back in the future!
