This venue is so much more than just the gorgeous room and building. Every step of the process had a very personal touch. The Admiral Room staff were accommodating beyond what would be expected of a venue. If we needed or thought of anything at all, they were only a phone call away. Our favorite part of the planning stage was our 100-day meeting/food tasting. That's when we met Josh- who would ensure everything ran perfectly smooth, and Chris- the head chef. They were both the type of people who can meet you, and it just feels like you've known each other for a while already. We went over the menu and schedule of events in detail, but at the same time it felt like we were just hanging out. They were extremely willing to tailor every aspect of the event to exactly what we wanted. It was a welcome change from the normal stress of wedding planning. Thanks to this amazing team, our big day went even better than we could have imagined. We had guests coming up to us and complimenting every little thing, from the outstanding food, to the bar staff, and wait staff. Because of the built-in sound system, everyone could hear all of the ceremony. We had both a band & DJ for the reception, which both sounded great as well. The Admiral Room will always hold a special place in our hearts, and if we could do it all over again, we'd absolutely do it the same way. I will say that I was a little bummed that we weren't having our wedding here initially but seeing it changed my mind a bit. A photo on the Buffalo Bills 50 yard line with a personal photographer framed in commemorative frame. Doesn't appear they are holding large events quite yet due to the COVID-19 restrictions. I will be eager to see how things take off for this lovely venue in the near future. This venue is part of the newly formed "BFLO District" at the Eastern Hills Mall. Who knew that Sears could look so chic?! Quite a make-over, indeed! Four stars for now. Let's see if this total flip is a flip in the right direction. I was able to visit the BFLO Event center for the first time because I was invited to a Yelp event…read more Since I don't live in the area I wasn't aware of the entire transformation happening at the Eastern Hills Mall. I am amazed that the space was an old Sears. The space was beautifully designed, well thought out and is now a destination instead of turning into another abandoned building. In addition to the event center attached is the BFLO store, a hair salon, Chruscicki Bakery, Simply Pierogi and Sto Lat. The space itself is perfect for a wedding or your next big event. It is a large open and airy room with darker wood floors, light walls and furniture and gorgeous crystal chandelier and snowflake accent lighting. The interior design is very modern and elegant with touches of Buffalo subtly added in. Great lighting, tons of parking and a huge bar. To the back of the room are doors which take you to a hallway that connects to the other businesses in the complex. The hallway is large enough to accommodate mingling of overflow guests from the event center.

For this particular event "The Whiskey Riot" I also overheard people saying there were more venues last year and they'd like to see more come next year. There's a ton of room to put vendors around the facility and allow for everyone to walk around easily. For this event, there were two food trucks outside and inside, they had a variety of free chips and granola bars for people to choose from, as well as water. There was a large seating area off to the side just to hang out and enjoy your snack or meal from the truck. Coat check is available, they accept tips only. I had a really great time here with my sons, I tried 11 different vendors and even though there were long lines, everyone was in a great mood, enjoying themselves. We brought a Whiskey Riot tee shirt and yes, we'll be back next year!
