Actually I visited this unassuming little place (think food truck fused into a building with a handful of equally unassuming indoor seating options) and the food wasn't bad, so I figured I'd try it today. It certainly beats Taco Bell! Actually it was pretty good. It was more of a 3.5 but until we can give 1/2 stars I rounded up to a 4 in honor of Cinco de Mayo! My favorite dish was the chicken tostada, followed surprisingly by the fish burrito. The chips were pretty nice. The "hot" sauce/salsa was disappointing because it was anything but hot - in fact more sweet than hot. I had a variety four pack of tacos but was a bit disappointed they were on soft tortilla shells when I hoped for hard shells. If there was an option it wasn't readily discernible. Lastly, the empanadas were solid but nothing special. This place is near Dickinson College and serves a vital role of food variety for the area. It's not special but it certainly is not a place to avoid. In fact, if you are in the area and craving Mexican, give it a try. It's more hit than miss and will leave you satisfied overall.

Street Corn (mild -- because I specifically requested "no spicy chaos"): Creamy. Tangy. Fully sauced. Not bland, not overpowering -- just perfectly balanced. Also served in a cup instead of on the cob, which means maximum efficiency and zero mess - WINNING! Chorizo Burrito: Absolute unit. Packed with just-the-right-level-of-spice chorizo, huge portion size, and -- surprise MVP moment -- the tortilla was lightly crisped instead of being a sad floppy wrap straight out of a bag. Half of this thing could feed a small village. I finished every bite of the meat like it was my job. Bonus green sauce situation included (avocado? wizardry?) that I fully expected to melt my face off -- but instead it was mellow and delicious and paired perfectly with the chorizo. There was some type of hot sauce (Valentina brand) here that that we put on it made it significantly better. The helado de fresa or strawberry ice cream ($1.50) balanced it out. We also had the Bistek Ranchero: it came with 6 yellow corn tortillas, onions, cilantro, beans, rice & lots of beef, mixed with red pepper. That cost 14.00 pretty decent if you ask me.
