    3 American Tacos
    Andrew S.

Based its location I really didn't expect much here. But this place was crowded and had a line. It is family run. And service was attentive .i ordered 3 American style tacos( chicken ,ground beef ,and tongue). They came out in great time. And they looked good. Flavor was a big disappointment none of the verity I ordered had a flavor. ( very bland)It was like something you get at a normal style restaurant. In there defense. I saw other dishes that looked a lot better than mine. So maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I can't say that I don't recommend this place. I just don't recommend what I ordered. They have a variety that should work for other choices. they get four stars because I think this place is just better than what I ordered.

Admittedly I've been sleeping on this place because I (wrongly) assumed that it was an Americanized taco place. I was wrong. The enchiladas were some of the best I've ever had. I finished them all in one sitting which never happens. Their tortillas literally melt in your mouth, they are so good. We ordered takeout for lunch during the week and it was ready quickly. There's quite a few tables if you opt for dine in. I will definitely add this to my list of places to go back to!

First time here and will definitely will be back. The service was great felt like family. The place was clean and the food was very delicious. I highly recommend trying them out.

Decor/service: the service is slow which can be somewhat expected being new but I mean it is SLOWW. Deff need to have improvement in that area. The decor is basic, nothing special. Food: I was hopeful going in and disappointed after. The tacos both Mexican and American were average. The quesadilla was weird. Chicken had good flavor but the cheese was mostly on the outside of it and they didn't cut it for me. Overall it was a big swing and miss for the first try especially with higher prices.

Drove past so many times, but decided to stop in this time. Delicious food and huge portions! My new favorite Mexican restaurant!

You would think a restaurant would bring the appetizers out first but no that's not what happened they brought the appetizers with the main meal. That was ridiculous and should never have happened. They were not busy whatsoever. Our waitress was also not very good, again no one in there at all that we saw. She seemed more annoyed with having to wait on us. Very disappointed. My sandwich was great. Calamari was just ok! Not horrible just ok. Boneless wings were not good at all, hard and lacked sauce. Cheese steak that my other half order was strange more like chopped burger than steak! Disappointing visit will be quite a while before we return!!!

We were in more of a dining room mood but we weren't asked for our opinion and were taken to a high 2-person table in what we assumed was the pizzeria. I have a temperamental back, so these chairs were not going to work for me, so we asked to be relocated to a nicer table. We were shown to another table right away. Both the dining room and pizzeria were nearly full, and hopping with energy! Our expectations were high! Any restaurant that serves Guinness beer on tap earns a bonus star from me! Unfortunately, the flavor was a little off and I get the impression that not too many customers drink the Guinness. It struck me as beer that was a little past its expiration date. Thankfully our food was very good. Everything had a distinctive and agreeable flavor. Even the bread and olive oil had us cutting extra slices. I ordered the quattro formatti pizza and added bacon. It was as unique and tasty as it sounds. If you look closely at the picture you'll see that someone took a bite before I had a chance to photograph it. But apart from that, notice all the different colors and textures, which made for a nice, lively pizza. In the other photo you can see the chicken parmigiana, which they agreed to substitute Alfredo sauce instead of marinara. That was a delicious dish as well! We ended up way too full for dessert!! It's too bad because there were lots of interesting options to choose from. If we ever find ourselves in Mount Joy again we'll surely consider coming here again. The only thing that left a bad taste was the old-tasting beer.

On a long walk of town on one day of my trip, it worked out that this one was open for lunch and I got to try it. It ended up being a favorite of my visit and I ended up eating here twice. The first time for lunch I stuck to the specials menu and had the chimichanga. It's served with rice and beans, plus fresh veggies and salsas. All salsas and sauces are made homemade and fresh, which is a huge draw of this place. Portion sizes are generous for the price, and flavor was great. Their hot sauces are also homemade: a mild red one and a hot creamy green one. Try both for sure! On the second visit, I had a burrito. I also dined with a friend who was impressed as well. They also have a menu of non-Mexican inspired dishes, so there's something for everyone here. The interior is open and bright, with booths and tables. Both times the server was super friendly and welcoming, very attentive through the visits. Parking is out back.

I ordered by phone for take out the bistro salad and a side of black beans after confirming with the staff that they were vegan. My only small recommendation is for the time estimate to be better. I was told it would only take 10 minutes to prepare. So I ordered my food then drove to the restaurant. Overall it took about 25 minutes for my food to be ready and handed to me. The staff were nice. The environment seemed nice although I didn't eat in. And there was parking in the rear. I am glad Miaa was there for my visit to Palmyra.
