I've been about 3 times and the staff members have always been nice. The first time I went I ordered a cotton candy snowball, but was surprised to see it was red once I received it. Usually cotton candy is pink or blue, and if I would've known it was red I wouldn't have ordered it. I'm not a fan of red snowballs or just liquids with red dyes and it upset my stomach. I will say the ice was soft and it did not deter me from giving them another try. The second time I went I had dippin dots and my uncle had the soft serve ice cream which we both enjoyed. My most recent visit I got a small pineapple snowball and my mom ordered the strawberry cheesecake ice cream. We sat inside and enjoyed our treats. They also have outdoor seating at this location which is nice. I'd say it's worth a try.

The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. And as you step in you definitely leave Louisiana and step into another country.

I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.

I had never heard of them before but their flavors seemed unique and I start craving a few of them. I was lucky enough to get my hands on some of it (Thank you, Adrian!) and started making my way through their flavors. New Orleans Ice Cream Company makes between16-20 different flavors of ice cream at any given time (They have some seasonal flavors). They stay local and make distinct New Orleans inspred flavors. Some of their flavors include, Cafe Au Lait & Beignets (Fantastic btw!), Coffee & Chicory, Creole Cream Cheese (Their most popular flavor), Ponchatoula Strawberry, Mardi Gras Pie, Praline Crunch etc. These ice cream pints are super premium ice creams which contain tons of flavor, great texture and the freshest ingredients they can get their hands on. It's not available in stores out here in AZ, yet, but if you want to get your hands on some of it, you can pick it up at icecreamsource.com. If you are an ice cream lover, you owe it to yourself to get a couple of pints. If you need a few suggestions, I would highly recommend the Cafe Au Lait & Beignets (Great coffee flavor, chewy donut pieces) , the Praline Crunch (Butter pecan tasting ice cream with candied pralines throughout) and the Baked Alaska (The owners favorite flavor which is packed with these crunchy meringue bits that are out of this world!). Any pint you choose, should be good. These guys are cranking out some of the best ice cream out there! I can't wait to make my way through the other pints that are sitting in my freezer. I have been extremely impressed so far and every pint I have tried, has been flat out delicious!

I first tried their ice cream at a Yelp event and I have been a fan ever since. This stuff has to be really good to occasionally break me away from my normal Creole Creamery and Angelo Brocato's addiction.

Inside, you'll find every type of fudge imaginable - Cookies and Cream, New Orleans Praline, and even sugar free. They also sell gourmet apples and other delights like pralines, caramel nut clusters, chocolate covered marshmallows, old fashioned milk shakes, and Blue Bell Ice Cream. Fudge is sold by the slice & each slice is 1/2 lb. I got a slice of the Chocolate Peanut Butter. It was creamy, smooth & rich. The addition of peanut butter in the center was an added bonus. Definitely one of the better-quality fudges that I've had.
