They also serve chips, nachos, pickles and some candy. Sometimes there is a long line because it is directly across the street from the Chalmette High School baseball and softball fields, but they work pretty quickly to get everyone served. There are several tables to sit at and enjoy your sno-ball or you can upsize your cup to take it with you in your car.

My wife got out to get our snowballs we were rushing to get home. I usually get Spearmint with condensed milk, and the wife gets different combos every time. I wanted a kiddy sized cup since i can't have allot or i get sick but they only had 2 sized cups neither small, but it was ok because it was really good. They make most if not all of there own syrups and have a large variety to choose from. There ice was pretty good, i like mine a little finer but still pretty good. It had a great flavor and my wife loved hers. I heard they make a good Chocolate snowball. I would recommend them when your in Chalmette i would have given 5 stars but the lack of Small sized cups and parking can be an issue if there is a game or event going on.

Everybody always says Hansen's is the best, but I'm sorry... they just can't compete with Chance in Hell, no matter what anyone says. Handcrafted syrups, quality ingredients, and that ice... listen. If you're really from New Orleans, you KNOW the difference between a snoball and a snow cone. That ice is so fine, so soft, it literally melts in your mouth. You really be like, "What ICE?!" It's up there, for real. And the space? Baby... it's a whole experience. Perfectly curated to their brand. Very show-stopping, very show girl, all the drama in the best way. It's beautiful, it's fun, it's a vibe. It is more on the pricier side. With the quality of the Snoball. The difference is in the details. Honestly, they're one of the main reasons we surviving this heat. There really is a Chance in Hell lol.

We started this journey last year and, now that the stands are open again, we wasted no time exploring what the Westbank has to offer. D suggested this little stand in Belle Chasse that I didn't even know existed. Apparently it's located right next door to the famed Big Jake's sandwich shop, which is super convenient if you're in the mood for something sweet after enjoying your Big Jake burger. This stand is cash only and has a pretty diverse menu. I got a rainbow snowball (my fave) and D got a king cake snowball. Right away I knew we had a problem: the ice was chunky and this snowball was seriously lacking syrup- you can even see it in my picture. However, I didn't think that my snowball was all that bad, even though it did start to lose flavor towards the end. D didn't even finish his and said that it tasted nothing like king cake. Meh. There's some picnic tables under a covered porch for sitting on warmer days. While I wouldn't skip this stand if I was in the area, it wouldn't be my first pick for a snowball.
