So I wanted to use this floralist for an event, that we are having next week.. granted I contacted her about 3 weeks before the event, but I have never had an issue before. This review is based on our interactions and how out of the ordinary the reaction was of the person helping me. I submitted for a floral order, was told yes it can be done, I asked for a paid mock up, they were able to do it, MY MISTAKE I provided the wrong picture inspo, asked for ANOTHER PAID mock up, at that point this was the only vendor I was working with. The person going back and forth with me at that point denied ALL services and literally said BYE can't help you..... NOW to me, that is the rudest thing ever to do knowing how close I was to the event date. Regardless of how you felt, I would as a vendor, INCREASED my prices, not said completely NO can't help you. as I scrambled to find another vendor at this point 2 weeks out from the event date. The part that made me the most upset was that THIS vendor completely lead me on in thinking they will actually take my MONEY and complete service. work was great, mock up was great, so thanks for that. There is a reason they don't send you a photo of what they send. This is blatantly false advertising. Photo on left has 3 roses, a couple of ranuncula and some white wilting flowers. And yes, I ordered the $125.00 Arrangement. Photo on right shows What they advertise as a $75.00 arrangement. Forget about getting anyone on the phone..... their voice message states We hardly ever return calls?????? And this is a high end floral business. Courtney and Jason did a fantastic job for our wedding this past May! We could not have asked for dreamier flowers to accentuate our special day! After reaching out to the Floral Loft with the colors and shapes I wanted, Courtney was very responsive and set-up an in-person meet to go over the details. She was very understanding of our budget and very patient considering we still had a lot of loose ends to tie up before we made any final decisions. I really liked how approachable and genuine she was throughout the entire process. We decided to do florals for our immediate families (bouts/corsages), a flower crown, flowers for our bridal party of 14, and bridal/groom florals. Come wedding day, my bridesmaid picked up all the florals, made just the way I had imagined them. They were all packaged carefully into boxes and the bouquets were placed into individual small vases of water so they would keep bright until showtime. I appreciated the thoughtfulness and how easy they made it for us to transport since we opted out of the delivery. (Wedding budget is real!! Courtney and Jason did our wedding this January. We live around the corner from their shop and couldn't be luckier to have worked with them. As humans, they're completely normal. It's great. They're easy to work with and easy to talk to. They're extremely patient and accommodating which is really nice/ necessary during wedding planning. We honestly were never stressed about all things candles/ florals the entire time we were engaged and the wedding day. We really wanted to work with someone that we could trust - once we signed the contract, we wanted to be a bit more hands off and feel confident that it would all turn out great on the day of. And that's exactly what happened. What they did for us was breathtakingly magical. BREATHTAKINGLY MAGICAL. We wanted candles on candles on candles...and went to The Floral Loft for a candle aesthetic sprinkled with flowers, and they just dominated it. This place is excellent. I called last minute for a sympathy arrangement for a friend who lost a very loved pet. The person I spoke with was extremely accommodating for same day delivery, which was extremely appreciated. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but described the vision of white (for my friend's pet) with bursts of color for a small celebration of life. They delivered and then some - the arrangement was absolutely stunning and my friend loved it so much she even took photos as she said she'd like to keep it in mind for wedding flowers in the future. I sought out the Floral Loft because of some beautiful photos featuring primary succulents. I really wanted to use succulents in my own bouquet, and I really appreciated the Floral Loft aesthetic. It can be tough finding an vendor with the same artistic taste, so I jumped on it. Luckily for me, the Floral Loft was very reasonably priced and it turned out to be worth every cent. Working with Courtney was a dream! She was extremely very quick to reply to emails and texts and did an excellent consultation for my fiancee and myself. When we arrived at the adorable shop, we walked up a tiny staircase to her office above the storefront. (The "loft" in Floral Loft turns out to be literal!) She looked through my Pinterest board to get while I explained my ideas. She was able to perfectly summarize what I was looking for, and succinctly explained my options to me. It turned out that a bouquet made of succulents would be quite expensive, so we came up with a beautiful flower-and-succulent option. For my ceremony, I knew I wouldn't be using too many florals. I decided to just give personals for everyone in the wedding processional and not use any other floral arrangements. Even though I didn't consider myself a "big ticket" customer, Courtney and the team treated me with complete respect, courtesy, and professionalism. The Floral Loft is incredible! I had a limited floral budget for my wedding this past weekend so I decided that I would arrange the centerpieces myself, but it was important to me to have a beautiful bouquet. Some friends, who used The Floral Loft for their wedding, recommended I check them out, and I am so glad I did! I hadn't realized how much fun I would have talking flowers with Courtney, and when our groomsmen dropped everything off on the morning of the wedding I was positively giddy. My bouquet was stunning, as were the bridesmaids nosegays, boutonnieres for the guys, corsages for my mom and officiant, and single flower that my mother-in-law carried. The Floral Loft put all of the bouquets in vases so they would remain happy and pretty for as long as possible, and we used my bouquet as the centerpiece for our sweetheart table. I kept it and took it home with me (no way was I throwing that gorgeous thing in the air), and have been enjoying it in our living room for the past several days. It still looks/smells amazing 3 days later, and I'm super bummed knowing that eventually I'll have to part with it. I cannot say enough great things about Courtney and Jason at The Floral Loft. They made our bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding last year and they were BEAUTIFUL. First we met with Courtney in person and discussed the colors and general style of what we wanted and we could immediately tell that she just 'got it.' All of her suggestions were great (she is the expert after all) and she absolutely nailed it. She is super creative, too - she made the boutonnieres using antique keys I had bought, and also attached keys to all of the bouquets, and she was able to incorporate lace from my mother's wedding dress into the bouquets, as well. So gorgeous! Besides their knowledge of flowers and their ability to create beautiful arrangements, they were easy to communicate with throughout the process, whether it be by email, phone or in person, and they were accommodating to all of our needs (which is so very important for a bride to be!). And their pricing is super competitive. Aside from using them for our wedding, I have bought numerous terrariums from them, in everything from glass jars and globes to a beautiful one in an antique bucket, and my husband has brought me home beautiful bouquets that rival the one I walked down the aisle with. They also make really cool paper flowers out of maps and pages from books, which are perfect for empty vases you have sitting around the house. More than anything, they are the sweetest couple and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them - I was almost sad when the wedding was over because I wouldn't be seeing them on a regular basis anymore! Bottom line: support this local flower shop because they are great people who make extraordinary flower arrangements and gifts. You will not be disappointed! We hired the Floral Loft for our wedding in the Presidio this summer and were very happy with the results. Courtney was a clear and prompt communicator throughout the process and was flexible when we switched our ceremony from outdoor to indoor the week of wedding. She was able to adjust our order for a birch arbor and accompanying floral for the outdoor ceremony to some large arrangements around a fireplace for the indoor ceremony with just a few days notice, and we really appreciated that! Her pricing was quite competitive as well, compared to many of the other florists we were considering, and the types of blooms and color palette we selected were beautifully carried through from the bridal bouquet to the centerpieces to the pin-on corsages and boutonnieres. I live in Seattle and had traveled to SF to take a special girl out on our first date in SF. I wanted to make a thoughtful gesture, and looked at multiple floral shops in the city. I ended up calling two different shops and speaking to people at both locations. As you can imagine, being in a different city made this challenging - I really only had online pictures\reviews, and my intuition after talking to people at both shops. The girl I wanted to send the flowers to has an eye for interior decor, so I knew I had to be very considerate with the bouquet I sent. I ended up corresponding with both Jason and Courtney via email and they were both extremely accommodating with my myriad of questions and special requests: I wanted to send a specific message through the bouquet. - It needed to be composed with the right colors - be the right size - be transportable on public transportation - be delivered at the right time - include a french message (inside joke) - etc And they completely delivered - the bouquet was beautiful, and exactly what I had asked for. Most importantly, it sent exactly the message I wanted, and brightened a special girls day. She said it was the most beautiful bouquet she's ever recieved. I will be back to use their services again, and would recommend them to any of my friends. We ordered a $125 romantic wrap on a Wednesday for a friend's civil marriage ceremony at City Hall. When we came to pick it up, there was nobody in the storefront, with a sign up that they were gone for an event.
