My wife and I came here for lunch, because it was close and we LOVE pizza. The reviews were ok, but like I said, we love pizza. I don't generally expect good food in a strip mall, however I guess this is the exception that proves the rule. We sat at the bar and was greeted by Tatum. She was very nice and helped us make our app choice. We debated between the garlic knots and the cheese ravioli and she steered us to the ravioli. It was delicious!!! The sauce was awesome and the ravioli was cheesy goodness. My wife and I decided to split the small margherita pizza. This is supposed to be a personal pizza, but because it was a late lunch we thought it would be ok. It was a perfect size for us. If it was dinner than we would need more, but this was perfect. It was so good!!! We wanted more and thought about ordering another, but decided not to overindulge. We will be back soon and hopefully Tatum will be there to take care of us. read more

Been to Pops twice now. Skip to 3rd paragraph for the food review cuz this is gonna be a long one. First trip was 4 days after grand opening and man did they need some work. Told the waitress to give us a min so we could look at the menu and I guess she had better things to do cuz she never came back. Another waitress comes by eventually and takes our order. Salads never arrive and when we try to ask the server who brings our appetizer she ignores us and walks off. At this point we are ready to leave but try to stick it out to try the pizza. Pizza comes and its burnt so we tell our waitress her we just wanna pay for what we ate so we can go get some food at a better place. She asks of we wanna talk to the manager and we agree to. She's very pleasant and apologetic offers us a gift card so we would try it again. We assure her we will but are very skeptical of coming back. Now is our 2nd visit and we decide to give them another chance. We get seated quickly and start looking over the menu but we have an idea of what we want. But 5 minutes go by and we haven't been offered any help or drinks. Wife and i joke that we got our same waitress as our first visit. Finally a waitress asks if we've been helped and agrees to find our waitress. She has no luck and takes over for whoever was suppose to help us. Crystal is her name and we will now always try to sit in her section. Crystal begins by apologizing to us and asks what we would like. We both start with house salads followed by the garlic knots then the spinach chicken Alfredo pizza. House salads are fresh and great get the jalapeño ranch it's amazing. Garlic knots are good but need more garlic is you ask us but the marinara is fantasmic. Pizza is cooked to perfection and the Alfredo is flavorful. Great food but service seems to be going through some growing pains but we will defiantly be back. read more

Came here for the second time tonight . The first time we went it was great food and awesome service . This time around was horrific. It took a while for our waitress " Lorie" to even come up to us . We ordered garlic knots and a side salad for our appetizers and pizza and wings as our main course . Lorie forgot about our appetizers and then asked what we even ordered . She kept forgetting refills and kept forgetting us in general. Mind you it was very slow when we came in. When we would order another drink she would completely forget . We decided to try it again thinking it was a fluke. Waited over an hour for a pizza. Four tables and two to go orders got their did before us, that came in after us. Stopped in after a very long day of work to eat a pizza and relax a little bit. Was promptly seated because they were not busy. After roughly 16 minutes of waiting for someone to take my drink order or even acknowledge that I was a customer, finally a waitress named Christine stopped and asked if I had been helped, I said no and explained my wait time. She quickly saved the day by apologizing and taking my order and had things rolling. So kudos to Christine for seeing me as needing service!!! If she hadn't stoped then I would have been out the door and never stepped foot in it again. Apparently the other staffing needs to be retrained on customer need and satisfaction!! read more

Tried this place twice and both visits were horrible. First time was near their opening and the waitress didn't know the menu or what beer they had. The second time we waited for an hour for a pizza. People that arrived us including take out orders received their food. After our waitress telling us twice she was checking on out pizza and finally after talking to the manager a pizza arrived. You walk in, and from across the restaurant (the bar), you hear somebody yell "just one?" or "Over hear!" creating an awkward situation. You walk over and request a pizza to go. Rudely, you hear "what size? (No mention of price...yet) they will tell you 20 minutes for order to be ready. ...thirty seven minutes later, they come out with your small pepperoni pizza (which wouldn't feed a child) and the bill for 8.99 plus tax. Extremely poor service. The girls working the curbside never moved from behind the counter. They just stared at the people parked in the curbside parking spots. I thought she was waiting on orders. I waited over 15 minutes until I saw that she had numerous orders ready. When I went in and asked why she wasn't serving the curbside customers, she replied that she didn't know that's why we were parked there. Did you think to come ask when the customer is staring at you, watching you're every move, waiting for a sign of intelligence or are you just lazy? Guess it was a combination of lazy and lack of intelligence. They must have new management. These girls would never had been able to do this under prior management. I would love to go to this place often since it is right up the street from me but it has to go. When we went, the service was terrible, the TV's were out (DirectTV can't handle rain), and the food was cold. My mother never even got a drink. The appetizer we ordered came out 10 minutes after the pizza. My Dad's poboy was cold and it was just awful. They ended up comping our meal which we found nice and we figured we would give it another try in a week or so but my whole family has been throwing up for 2 days. Me and my wife came in tonight about 830, our waitress was Lauren. She was absolutely wonderful, they were not that busy so she was very attentive to us. She did not mind all of our questions and needs. This was our first time here and it was wonderful! We got bone in wings, sauce on the side and they were perfect.
