The restaurant itself is really nice. The servers are super nice also. The food on the other hand, average. Ordered a chicken Cesar salad. HUGE portion of salad. Probably could have fed four people for the $13 price. It had iceberg lettuce, croutons, and grilled chicken. The dressing came on the side. Normally it's all mixed up and it tastes different when it is. I ordered a small pizza with diced tomatoes, basil, red onions, and pepperoni. The diced tomatoes were pretty large to be on a pizza. Same for the onions. There wasn't any basil on the pizza. It tasted ok. Didn't eat it all and gave it to my friend. We did get garlic knots as an appetizer and they were not traditional knots. These were big like cinnamon rolls. Not going to complain at all. They just needed more garlic butter on them and they would have been perfect. read more

If I could give ZERO STARS I would. We came in, all the tables had already been served or drink had orders taken. We sat for 10 minutes and I had to go ask the hostess if we could have a server, the hostess brought us our drinks, we waited an additional seven minutes and again asked the hostess where a server was. A server in training told us she was off but she would take her order but she can't ring it in but would take for us anyways, my fiancé called prior to us going to find out what the specials were and he was told they had $.69 wings tonight well that was a lie. We then asked for a manager, the server in training went and asked the manager to come see us and she was too busy to come see us and told the server that if we wanted to talk to her we could go to her. After moving to Gulfport almost a year ago, I had a mission to find my go-to pizza place. I have tried seemingly a million places from Long Beach to D'Iberville. I am an Italian originally from Long Island, NY so pizza holds a big place in my heart and I take it very seriously; with that being said, I have come to the conclusion that Pop's Pizzeria has the best pizza around! I've eaten there three times, and each time the food was excellent. Not to mention, they are the literally only place around that puts meatballs on their pizza! That alone is a huge win! The service is great, and the style of the restaurant really makes me feel like I'm transported back to my hometown pizzeria. I only get five stars to the best restaurants with the best experience and the best food. This place does it all. Pops pizza in Biloxi is easy to get to and quite delicious plus very accommodating. We didn't have to wait long to get our food despite the restaurant being nearly full. The crust is thin and crispy. I told the waitress we were sharing a salad so she bought two bowls. Definitely not good food. Our pizza came with a heaping side of grease on top. The service was questionable, too. I'm not sure of the name of our waitress because I don't think she introduced herself, plus we barely saw her throughout our visit here. She never even mentioned refilling our drinks, despite our cups being empty. It seemed like she wasn't interacting with other customers either, besides the bare minimum of taking their food and drink orders and delivering some of the food. She took a while to pick up our check, then didn't bother to ask if we wanted our change. The hostesses were much more attentive than the waitress. If you're worried about COVID precautions, this isn't the place for you. None of the staff members were wearing masks, and masks are not required by customers in the restaurant either. Social distancing is not enforced or even offered if you come while it's busy. read more

I went here for the first time this evening to get a quick bite to eat, and then take home the leftovers to eat while working on homework. It took me a second to be greeted while all the employees were sitting around doing nothing, which was a bit of an annoyance. But then, my server Jana walked up, and my experience instantly improved. She was incredibly sweet, constantly checked on me, and was very patient despite the fact I was losing my voice. I'd give this place five stars by itself if I could based off that alone. That being said, it sadly isn't the only thing I can take into account. Food wise, I ordered the fried cheese ravioli. Surprisingly, these were excellent and came with a good portion. I was pleasantly satisfied with how well it was seasoned. This made me very excited to try the pizza I had ordered ! As I'm finishing the ravioli, Ms. Jana brings out my pizza, right on time. Man, I have to say this pizza was very average. There are a few other pizza places I've tried in the area that simply make a better product. All that being said, I'd give this place a 3.5 based on the service received and the appetizer. However, I certainly can't bring myself to give it 4 stars with the quality of the pizza, so a 3 star review will have to do. Completely unrelated: I did like how they have small TVs at every both. That in itself is pretty clever. Though, as I was watching the game tonight, I noticed how terrible the picture equality was in comparison to other TVs. The food is delicious, but admittedly I haven't returned in a few years after a waitress made me feel like a criminal. Long story short, I had just moved back home from CA where my family was stationed due to military service after my husband left active duty. Pops was a newer restaurant in my home town of Biloxi that wasn't there when I left MS way back in 2010. Since moving back, we had visited Pops with relatives and we really enjoyed the food. So we returned with just our small family, my husband and our young daughter. I didn't know the "rules" of the establishment and had no idea this random week day was "kids eat free" so I just ordered myself a kids fried ravioli as I normally don't eat much and didn't want the hassle of leftovers. Mind you, my husband had ordered a pizza and a sandwich and our daughter her own kids meal. We also had ordered appetizers. So imagine my shock when the waitress immediately got defensive and exclaimed that I could not order the kids meal because I was not allowed. Not knowing it was some kids eat free day, I told her I didn't understand why. She stayed combative and told me I was trying to get free food and that the kids eat free only applied to kids. I apologized for not knowing and told her I didn't mind paying for my own food as well as my daughters kids meal, that my family isn't hurting for money and didn't usually pay any kind to kids eat free nights. She adamantly refused to allow this to happen and continues to treat me like some common criminal. I know this isn't the business's issue, it was this particular waitress. But I haven't stepped foot back in this business since that day a couple years ago. I am not one to complain or make a scene so I didn't say anything at the time, but I was extremely embarrassed that anybody would think that of me. And since I have severe anxiety disorder, it's made it where I can't return without feeling like the whole business is saying "I remember her, she tried to steal a kids meal!". Absurd I know, but that's just how a person with anxiety thinks sometimes. I'm sure things have improved since then, but just in case it has not I would hope management would have a discussion with wait staff about unique situations like this. What prompted me to leave this review was it popping up on my newly created help page asking if I recommended it. I was once again reminded of the above incident. One day, when I'm not still reminded of this incident when I see the business logo, I may return to enjoy some fried ravioli and a pizza. read more

Um. I was totally surprised by this place. The best garlic knots I've ever had, a full bar, and a freaking delicious salad. I didn't think I wanted anything heavy so I got the salad but everyone else's food was really good too!! I just arrived from the Midwest, where good salads do not exist, so I was really excited about that. It was a big portion, quality chicken, excellent dressing, and two giant garlic knots. My kid ate her entire pizza, which is really saying something, and we got ten people out of there for under a hundred bucks. I mean, come on. Service was great and we'll be back. read more
