This homegoods is right down the road from me, my husband and I go frequently. We go there for food a lot, and have also found some other great home items like egg holder, glass juicing bottles, or all natural laundry pods, and have also gotten many stuff for our furbaby. Their clearance is pretty decent and we've found lots of good deals that way. Aisles are small, sometimes floor staff will power walk through but generally I'll stand my ground until they're forced to say excuse me or hit me bc sometimes it seems like they just expect you to move without saying something if you seem them coming. Despite that, I really don't have much issue with floor staff. Checkout line can get long but they also have about 4 cashiers when I go so it goes fast. Cashiers are always friendly and nice.

Truthfully, it had been a hard year and we wanted to do something that would feel cheerful. We parked and as we were walking in someone collecting carts curtly said "we're closed". I said "oh, it says you close in 15 minutes" which she replied "yeah well, they're not going to sell you anything." Cool. We brushed it off and walked in and two employees looked at us and one said "we're closed now, not enough time to shop." So we said "we were just going to look at the Christmas trees for 5 minutes" and the woman shook her head clearly frustrated. We walked over to the Christmas tree aisle and stood in silence for a beat. My husband turned and said "this doesn't feel joyful anymore". We could have used any of the following: kindness, holiday spirit, or anyone to simply stfu and keep their misery to themselves. Instead we were called out to rudely by two separate employees.
