Everything was okay until I went through the checkout line. I bought a gown for a formal event, a really nice suit jacket, and other items. The lady was not friendly at all and threw everything together into one bag. I had my clothing items folded nicely and she literally unfolded everything, bundled them up and placed everything together. When I got to car I took out the mop bucket and other items because they had zip ties and plastics that may snag the gown. Super frustrating and the lack of care is horrible. Solid Ross. Gotta love affordable home goods. Employees are decent. However - do NOOOT go on the weekend. The checkout line is SO long, it's practically all the way back near where the dressing rooms are. Something tells me they are short staffed. Because not all the registers are open, hence the horrifically long lines. Go during the weekdays! read more

It was busy noise level was medium to mild. The lines to check out wasn't too long. I probably stood within six people within 10 minutes. I was in and out out of the line. The floors were clean enough where I could walk. I was looking for Christmas decorations, also seasonal Clarence items which I seen in and found really pretty things to come back for Customer service was pleasant enough easy enough to understand and able to have a check out with no problems, they gave me a discount because I bought something that was broken/missing a piece of so that made me happy because I really wanted that specific item read more

I came in to return a gift I wasn't going to use. The return was fast and easy, but I only had a gift receipt, so I got a store voucher instead of cash. I don't shop here (I work at a department store), and I wasn't able to convert the voucher. So I had to buy something to get rid of the store credit and pay the rest in cash. I had an awful experience at this Ross store on Friday June 4, 2021. I finally decided to put it in writing because you either need to improve your customer service or close the store. First of all it was dirty. The floors looked like they had not been swept in a month. Secondly, they were very short staff at check out. Then, as I was in line to check out, a rude gaggle of customers cut in front of me. The checker saw it happen and kind of shrugged and nodded his head to me. So I let that pass. Another checker came to the register kiosk and called up a man who had returns but had just walked in the door. The rude customers checked out, each one was a separate transaction so it took a very long time. When the checker was finally finished with them, I started to move into that line to check out. He shook his head no and announced that he was done and going on break. The other checker (manager, I think because she had to assist the guy with the rude customers) was still working on the returns. So I just left my cart right there. I'm done. I'll never shop at that store again. read more

I"ve been to a lot of Ross's in other cities and I gotta say...I am impressed. The other one's I've been to, don't even compare, they were usually tore up from the floor up. This one was nice and organized. Things were *actually* on the hangers, craziness. They have up to date clothing, something I never really experienced at the others. I had to go there as part of a homework assignment and ended up buying a couple cute tops and a pair of pants while I was at it. I still can't get over how organized it was, didn't even seem like a Ross. This is a good store to buy at if your on a budget...or not. read more

This Ross actually has standards on cleanliness. In addition, the sales people are friendly and helpful. I shop here pretty often. Tuesdays host senior discounts and it's conviently located by the Lakeline mall. They have great prices on Kathy Van Zealand bags and other goodies. read more

Anytime you purchase merchandise here make sure you open the package especially if it is a set and lists the items included. I purchased a "sheet set" which I mailed to friends in California for a wedding present when they opened the package all it contained was the flat sheet I was so embarrassed and when I returned to the store they were sooooooo much less than helpful. Their response was to have it sent back to me for exchange or I could send them the receipt and they could find a Ross out there to exchange it. Wow how helpful so I just paid $40 for a flat sheet what a bargain right. Be careful you might not get the bargain you are looking for. read more

It's Ross, you shop here for ultra cheap finds. It's kind of like treasure hunting, usually a bust, but sometimes you get lucky. This location has a better selection than most, and is usually kept clean and uncluttered, which for Ross, is pretty unheard of. read more

The item I was about to buy did not have a price sticker. When paying at the front register the manager asked me to go to the back and find the other item to match the price so they could charge me for if. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a Ross. Buy at another Ross, not this one where you will be bossed around, as if you were an employee. No my fault they fail at putting price stickers. Asking a customer paying at the register to go back and find an item in the back to match a price, they should have had in the first place. How rude! I walked into this Ross location today with a bottle of water and the lady at the cash register tells me I can't bring my water into the store. WTF! Are they serious? Then she told me I have to leave my water at the register. LMAO. I couldn't believe how hard core these people were about a bottle of water. I can walk into any other store no matter how cheap or expensive with water. What's the issue? I shop on Rodeo drive and they give you water and champagne. I will not be returning to this location! If you buy a product from this store you BETTER keep the labels and the receipt. I bought a $3.99 shelf thingy to stack small plates on. The first time I used it, it broke at the welding spot. I took it back today to exchange, get credit, whatever. Since I didn't have a receipt they would only do an exact match AND they had none. They said "sorry." I said throw it in the your trash and walked out. Guess if I spend 10 cents in that store I better keep the receipt. What is customer service worth nowadays? read more

It's Ross, so it's cheap and slightly disorganized. I do find good deals when I go here now and then, like on home decor or a Calvin Klein dress, etc. So that "treasure hunting" part is fun. Kind of like when you go to thrift stores for vintage finds, but the items are new. It's just a bit annoying that the items are all over the place (ex. Large size sweaters in the small pants section, kids items randomly everywhere). I usually won't fit items before buying since the fitting rooms don't seem clean, I'd rather take the risk since it's not expensive anyway. There's not really any customer service, I've had rude employees ask me where I got the thing in my cart (??) or just ignore me completely. read more

You definitely get what you pay. And this store in particular is bad! We bought a bamboo salad set at a great price. We used it once and then it came apart making it impossible to use. We tried to return it and the store manager said that he could not accept it back because it was used and he could not return it to the floor for resell. I was just in your Cedar Park location Store #0429 and my teenage daughter and I had to witness the most unprofessional behavior a manager and her staff could have in front of customers. While we waited in the always overly long line because the staff is constantly gabbing about non work related items, today was the absolute worst I have ever seen. A customer a few places before us was complaining about a price and when the "manager" finally addressed it and had to start checking people out the first words out of her mouth was "That is why I should just work in the back". Once I was checked out and was waiting for the manager to check my daughter out the staff and the manager continued to talk about the previous customer stating things like "She was embarrassed because she could not afford it" at one point the manager stated "She should have just told me the truth now I have to void it". This is not the first time I have seen this manager behave in such manner, but this was more apparent than most other times. She needs to be addressed and in my honest opinion should not be in the presence of customers without some soft skills training. The cashier that checked me out was at one point making faces and saying she was so "mad". I did address the manager prior to walking out and advised their behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

She didn't say a word when I entered and asked for my number tag, which I didn't think much of, but on my way out I needed to put them back and she literally rolled her eyes at me and said "you're not taking ANY of them?" and sarcastically said "thanks" as I left. The store doesn't have much variety. The customer service is horrible. Long waiting time to check out. If you have a problem, don't expect courtesy service. They don't keep receipt info in their system. So if they mess up and don't remove a security tag you are treated like a criminal when you come back to get it removed. Ross prices aren't that great when compared to the prices and service you get at their competitors. The lack of customer service and consistent policies within their chain and market segment will continue to deter customers. When I walked into this store I stood in the line designated for returns and exchanges, when the cashier called for the next person she took the person standing in the regular checkout line. I stepped to the side and asked her where to go for a return, she advised all cashiers could help with the return and there's only one line. Despite the fact that she saw me waiting she never said that all cashiers could help with return and exchanges prior to my inquiry. I then went into the regular line which at this point had grown by 4 additional people. When I finally got to the cashier she talked to the manager Diane who then told me I have to go back to the location I purchased the item. My purchase was made 1 1/2 weeks ago, I had my receipt and all original tags on the item yet I couldn't make the return. read more
