This is the same thing they do here. Books piled up on top of one another, aisles extremely cramped with shelves overflowing from a an abyss of junk. The furniture was just kinda pushed tightly to the side. The chair I was interested in had a bleach stain and they still wanted regular price. I have a small dog and wanted to look at dog beds but they were all clustered and buckling and jutting out from the shelf you wouldn't even walk down the aisle without getting swallowed up by the disarray. There is a slight odor in this store as well. Sweet and musky is what it reminds me of. I wouldn't stop by this location if I were you. Drive further out!

A lot of nice decor for your home or office. Long lines but moving quickly. Social distancing is strictly enforced. Staff is required to wear masks and gloves. Most customers had on masks you would think everyone did but not so. Overall interior of the store was clean. Staff were putting out new merchandise as we shopped. Boxes were placed out the aisles. Cashiers were excited to be back! . All were smiling and eager to help. If you're in the area, check out this location. You won't be disappointed

It's one of those stores where you can walk away with a neat or charming piece of furniture, wall decor or gift and you never know what you'll find. There's something so satisfying about this kind of shopping. I often come here without any specific piece or need in mind, but I always walk out with something that is perfect for my home ... The staff is so friendly and you can tell they love working there and are proud of their artists and vendors. Since there are no shopping carts/baskets, they can hold your items for you at the front when you're ready to check out. I highly recommend signing up for their newsletter so you can keep up with their sidewalk sale dates or other fun events. I came unknowingly on a Valentine's week event and sipped on a free mimosa as I shopped - how perfect is that?!!

It looked nice when we picked it up, but about 5 weeks later the paint started to peel up all over which indicates she skipped the spray prep to prevent such an occurrence. We know this as Melissa had explained all the steps and products she would be using in the refinishing process. Our end table is a now mess.     Manager Estella was genuinely the rudest manager I've ever come upon. First, as we were leaving the…read morefitting room she came upon us very harshly repeating "the fitting room is closed." Okay, I'll admit that was my bad. After waiting for 8 minutes and no one showed up, I helped myself to try on my two shirts. I figured the attendant was busy. So I will say that was partly my fault, although maybe they could take the time to print a sign so this mistake doesn't happen again. No one deserves to be ambushed simply for misunderstanding. Whatever, we moved on. Next, we headed up to the front line to checkout. We had one wreath we wished to purchase, although it was slightly broken. One of the stems was fully pulled down, although not broken. Not a huge deal, I can hot glue it, although that's going to take money and time, so I just asked for a small discount. Both workers at the front looked at it, agreed it was pulled loose, and said a discount should be no biggie. They called the manager, and as soon as Estella turned the corner, I heard her scoff and roll her eyes. Dramatic on her part, but I didn't want to let her ruin my night, so I ignored it. She comes up to the lovely attendant who was helping me and starts inspecting the wreath. Throughout the process, she actually pulled it more loose than it previously was. She repeated "yeah...no" about 5 times and asked if there was a different one to which I replied "no there is not, at least that we found." That response didn't make her happy. She then repeated, "yeah...no" twice more and said, "yeah, no, it's not falling off and it's just a little loose, so no discount." So she admitted it was loose, especially after she got her hands on it, dropped it, and walked away. I know this may seem minor, but customer service is a huge deal to me ESPECIALLY when it's a manager. I'm a server, and would never dare to talk to a customer like she did tonight, no matter how bothered I may be. TJMaxx, do better. Hire better managers, because I can see from my own eyes, and from your low rating that obviously it's not common to have a good experience. I hope this manager just had a bad day and isn't usually like this, because if she is I'm sure the employees are miserable having to deal with that.
