Stay away from this place. I was told that my dryer would be delivered on Monday. I took the day off work just to receive a call late in the afternoon that my item would not be delivered that day. I was them told that I wouldn't get my dryer until the following Saturday and that I would receive free delivery. Lies! I never received a refund on my delivery. I called several times and spoke to several different people who all claimed that they would process my refund. Three weeks later and I still have yet to receive a refund. I buy and flip homes. Thought I would try this place for appliances. When they delivered the appliances to the house they had switched both the dishwasher and microwave to one that was damaged while having sold mine to another customer. They had swapped out the stove drawer for one that was damaged as well. These are very nice people yet very underhanded. Thankfully I took pictures of everything on the showroom floor and was able to back up my claims. They did replace the dishwasher with one that doesn't work properly and although I made several phone calls to Jeff the store manager he ultimately did not make good on his 90 day warranty. I carried the microwave back and got one in relatively better shape. This dishonesty and lack of customer service is surprisingly asinine and will cost them thousands from me personally as I will not be purchasing appliances from them on future house flips. read more

I narrowed it down to a couple different brands & styles of appliance I was looking for and three stores near me had them in stock. When I walked in the door a V & G close out store I was warmly greeted by a knowledgeable salesman. The store was pretty busy for mid day/mid week visit and while it isn't a huge store, I just want to see the appliance's on my list see if I could negotiate a good deal & go! I had negotiated good deals at the other 2 stores that I had been to. I explained to the salesman what I was looking for and what I did not want & he took me right to them! He explained the merits of each and I narrowed it down to 2 and was heavily leaning towards the one that cost a little more. When another customer purchased the last 2 of the other model before I could choose. Based off the deals I had negotiated at the other shoe stores I made an informed offer including delivery, my salesman checked with his manager & the delivery company and I got a Great deal! The next day the delivery men removed the old one & installed the new one without a hitch! We love our new Refrigerator it's in excellent condition and runs beautifully. The prices are good here, but don't get fooled this place is TERRIBLE. We purchased a refrigerator from their floor. We scheduled delivery 10 days after we purchased the fridge and the night before (8PM) we were called and told they would not deliver it until Sunday. Then, after Sunday's delivery the refrigerator stopped working on Tuesday night melting all of the ice and spoiling all of the food we bought to stock it. Their "warranty" repair is supposed to fix this. However even though we called in the repair to them at 9AM Wednesday morning, I had to call back twice to talk to Veronica that does the scheduling. She says that it takes 48 hours to send someone out to our house, which I guess makes sense because it takes 24 hours for her to return a phone call (well, technically she never returned our call). The appliance is still not working and we still don't have a time when they'll send out some technician to fix it. I've learned my lesson, please use me as an example and stay very far away from these crooks. read more

Before visiting V & G, I was visiting another appliance closeout store to purchase a washer but I had a terrible experience there because it had no selection, nobody with proper knowledge, etc. When I visited V & G, I was pleasantly surprised! It is like a full-scale appliance store with a great selection and its staff are very knowledgeable. I was able to pick a washer that almost has no visible imperfection. I bought a used washer and dryer here and it works OK. The installers did not install properly. After reading the manual online I learned that the machines must be leveled perfectly at installation and the feet on the bottom are supposed to be turned until it sits perfectly level. The installers did not level it at all. When I tried to discuss some concerns with them when they arrived to install they were condescending towards me and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. I had to have them come out a second time to redo the installation because they did not use the correct hoses. They still did not level the machine. Partly my fault because I wasn't aware that it needed to be leveled by turning the feet until I got around to reading the manual and then realized the installers had done it wrong. Meanwhile, I'm living with the annoying vibrations shaking the whole house every time I used the machine. I then found out that having the machine leveled is imperative to prevent damage to your machine, and I also think the vibration is bad for your foundation. Before reading the manual, I thought it was something i had to live with or was responsible for fixing myself. By the time I got around to calling the company after my handyman said he didn't know how to fix it, they said it was out of warranty and wouldn't do anything. Also the washer and dryer leaves black marks on my white sheets and linens. read more

This place is a joke. Both the refrigerator and dishwasher were pieces of junk. The dishwasher broke and they said they were sending another one that was "completely gone through" to replace it. When they showed up it was still dirty inside and it didn't work either. I scheduled several appointments to have the fridge fixed with no luck. They didn't even call me to say they weren't coming. Bought a top line frig from them assured that everything was working. Hooked the thing up and it would run twenty minutes then completely power off, then turn itself on a half hour later...rinse and repeat. Finally came on without cutting out but wouldn't cool. Freezer temp said 0 degrees but wouldn't freeze and I put a thermometer inside and the temp wasn't close to the the frig reading. Upper portion wouldn't get below 50 degrees. Shelf bracket had a missing screw that held them straight and they said they would fix that. They put a cosmetic screw in that held nothing and shelves still crooked. Called (they kept on about it having a fifteen month warranty) and they said they didn't deliver it so I had to bring it back to the store myself to let them look at it. To good to be true I saw them on craigslist....I went there and looked around and the prices were great. I just recently moved and was in need of everything and they had it all. I picked up some energy efficient light bulbs a pack of 6 for 8.99 I thought thats pretty good until I got them home and only 2 of the bulbs worked. I went back to see if they had any more and they only had one more pack on the shelf I looked in the pack and I opened it and 3 of those bulbs looked physically burned. I thought to myself no they wouldnt sell things that were broken so I checked other merchandise and I picked up a toy. A V-tech piano and I turned it on and only half of the toy worked...I looked at their pots and they were dented, all of them....I then realized the prices are good is because these are returns from other stores I was wondering why all of there packaging looked like it had extra tape. Its because they were opened and returned to the store from which is was bought. My advice dont waste your time and save your money because chances are anything you buy from there has already been returned do to something faulty going on with it read more
