So I am slightly confused. I already did a review for Port 27, I guess this is a new page. To be clear, Port 27 is a venue which has a brewery with its namesake Port 27. There in lies some of the confusion on my part because my last review I guess was for the brewery and not the venue, but I kinda reviewed it in its entirety. So here I go again. Port 27 is a lakeside destination with iconic views, good eats, a great brewery and eclectic shops. I have been here more times than I can count. It is quite convenient as it is less than a 5 minute drive from my house. And the bike ride isn't bad either on a Sunday when it's not too hot. So I have been here in the evening on the weekend with live music. They host events like runs, and there is even a comedy show. Port 27 is both kid friendly, and pet friendly. There are plenty of places to sit and there is a kind of kids area as well. Most of the major events are hosted on the outside stage. The shops: Antica Trattoria has some of the best pizza in Florida. It is popular and stays packed, yet they get the pizza out pretty quickly. There is a fair amount of seating inside. And, there are places throughout Port 27 to leave your pizza boxes when you are done. Van de Walle has great coffee and awesome desserts and the staff and service are on par with the coffee and desserts. They roast their own beans in house and make all of the desserts in house. You can purchase their coffee and theybwill grind it for you to your preference. Port 27 the brewery is a bit cloistered and on a busy evening or the weekends, the lines can be a little much. But the wait is well worth it because the beer is quite awesome. The servers are passionate about the beer and you can get samples, but when it is super busy you should just jump in to respect the patrons behind you. There are also burgers, tacos, ice cream, arts and crafts, candles and a shop that has vinyl records. Every time I go it is always a new adventure and somehow I never get bored. If you are in Polk County Florida and looking for something to occupy the whole family, Port 27 is a great option. But don't take my word, see it for yourself. read more

This is a great place to spend some time with the family. It has a large parking lot, but close to sunset that parking lot is full. There are many stores that sell pizza, beers, even candles. The food is a bit price but the quality seems good. At night, they had a DJ, and it looks really good. read more

Stingy on drinking water? For patrons at the bar? This is such a weird thing to complain about, but the bartender did not want to give me water. I had 3 alcoholic beverages over a 3 hour period and my friends were drinking more and we shared pizza. Trying to get water from the guy bartending was a task. He did finally give me a small 6 or 8 oz cup after my friend told him I was parched. I tried asking for more when they ordered a round of drinks but he ignored me. Like this man looked me straight in the face, asked me what I wanted and looked away with a shake of his head when I asked for water. If you want me to order more alcohol, I need to be hydrated. Common sense strategy to keep your customers satisfied and buying more. I was like SpongeBob out of the ocean, so I just went home where I could drink whatever I wanted. The ladies bartending are no issue, but the guy was unreasonable because of this. For the record, this is a big family space with restaurants, shops, a beach, and 2 bars operated under the same business. I witnessed this specific bartender turn away multiple people who came up to ask for water. I do enjoy coming here because of the vibe and view, but drink and food options are a bit high. The pizza is a great deal and I love splitting it with people. There is good and bad to this place, including the people who work here. read more

I was very skeptical about this place because there are a lot of mixed reviews. I've seen it pop up on my social media a couple times and we happened to be driving by and decided to stop to walk around, not really planning to try many of the food spots Food wise, what we tried was underwhelming. I had a ham and cheese crepe for $15 and it was definitely not worth the price. Very simple and could've used way more toppings for what they charge. So from a food standpoint (at least based on what we tried), it didn't really impress That said, it has a lot of potential. The overall concept is great. They have an outdoor projector (they were playing an NFL game), and a nice variety of spots like tacos, burgers, hot dogs, waffles, coffee, pizza, plus a really cute candle shop where you can do make your own candle workshops. They also offer painting workshops, which is a fun touch The views are phenomenal, very pretty and relaxing and they even have a little book lending spot, which I thought was adorable. Port 27 is so so cool. It's new to me and I'm so happy I finally visited. They opened in June 2025. So from the front, this doesn't look like a big deal. When you walk through you will continue to be amazed. It's like a boardwalk with a water view. And food spots in different types of vessels, boutiques, green space, tables and chairs and a brewery. Food options are everything - walk in for coffee and bakery, smoothies, pizza, Italian, deli, brewery, burgers and hot dogs, tacos, seafood, and crepes, and ice cream. There's a little pier you can walk on to see the water in the middle and you can rent jet skis. They have events and music too. All around most fave new discovery for me!! Dog & kid friendly too. The day we went they were having a Halloween party at night and had a haunted house too. Very very cool spot and you must must must check it out. There's plenty of parking and you don't have to pay. They do have valet parking if you want that too. We just had a snack of a hot dog and fries and the service was great. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! read more

We're new to the Haines City area and this up and coming spot is quite a hoot! Their burgers and fries are our favorite! Although we didnt try the other booths yet, but they seem promising. Something to note: the burgers and fries station will not allow you to order just a side of fries on their own (strict kitchen rule) They have a wonderful brewery that also seems lively and the boardwalk / lake vibes set quite the relaxing ambiance. I ordered the Spiked Raspberry Cider and it was refreshing! They also have weekly flight specials and seem to do live music on the weekends. The service is good, and with the development around the area I do think they need to figure out a better parking situation. DEFINETLY need at least one more entrance. There was an event this past weekend that seemed to attract a lot of people from the surrounding areas and there was bumper to bumper traffic all stuck in one single file line for the single entrance. We ended up going to Floridinos Italian resturant next door since it was overcrowded and rowdy. We only wanted to get a pizza and get out, but due to the event, that was impossible. Also, we heard the cops get on the megaphone at one point while waiting for our to go order next door. I do think in the future they will have to have admission tickets or a maximum capacity head count or even just an extra parking lot to balance the crowd control. For some reason people are treating this little gathering hub like an amusement park with the big masses. Its reminiscent of the little markets we'd attend in Orlando, and really feels like The Acre we use to go to (for anyone thats moving from Orlando) its a very low key chill outdoorsy vibe with a boardwalk. Only a handful of little areas to grab a quick bite (pizza, burgers, ceviche, tacos, coffee, smoothies, ice cream and some little shops - soap shop, record store, arts and crafts/paint and sip flower stand and a gift shop) Also note that there are a bunch of bugs at night, attracted to the lights since its on the lake. Maybe some bug zappers could also be a benefit to this establishment. They also have a jetski rental. Its a great spot to check out, and the only one of its kind in this area we've come across so far. Hopefully this area will bring more spots like this to town in the near future, and that could also balance the crowd control. Looking forward to seeing this place blossom! read more

We stopped by Port 27 and it's definitely one of those spots where there's a little bit of everything. Food-wise, you'll find a taco truck, seafood, burgers & hot stand, crepes, plus a pizza and deli spot--just be prepared for long lines and wait times, especially during peak hours. There's also an ice shop, a beer garden/tap room, and a coffee shop. Beyond food, Port 27 has a fun mix of things to explore: a record store (opens later in the afternoon--kind of a bummer if you're there early), art studios where you can do crafts, vintage shops where you can make candles or shop for soaps, and even water sports like jet ski rentals. For families, there's a sand arena, playground for kids, and a stage where they sometimes host live music. Parking is free with plenty of spots, though it can get congested depending on the time you go. As for the coffee--more for the vibes than the flavor. I'd give it a solid 7.5/10 Overall, it's a fun hangout spot with something for everyone, especially if you don't mind crowds and are there for the experience as much as the food. read more

This place has SOOO much potential. Finally got around to visiting after seeing it so much on social media. I love that parking is FREE however it is on dirt/rocks road. There's also no traffic guidelines so be aware when you get out of the car. We walked around there's a lot of options. Burgers, smoothies,Tacos , nachos etc. this is definitely kid friendly there's a little sandbox for them to play and other things. I would say what bothered me was there were parents drinking and not paying attention to their kiddos. It was getting a little wild with the kids running around and playing roughly.. We decided to try the pizza place and the pizza was great! Loved that it was freshly baked, cheesy and crispy with a thin crust. Not a lot of drink options besides sprite and Coca Cola - Apple juice or water :/.... I also got a salad and that was not the best, even after putting the dressing it was dry definitely not "fresh".. I would also say there was a lot going on inside the pizza shop, from the manager eating what looked like ice cream Walking around and the salad bar and pizza it was a bit overwhelming... We went to the burger place to get chicken fingers and "fries" for the kiddos. And found out they don't service fries which we thought was odd being that there's burgers and wings.... Anyways the chicken fingers were decent, tasted like it was dipped in fish batter, the chips were beyond salty! We opted in for something sweet a little after our dinner and grabbed a smoothie. Second time here, It's been a hot minute and it's definitely looking better. It's that they turned their light house area into a Halloween house for the current season Their service is good, parking was crowded today at about 5pm on a Sunday afternoon. We almost leave but decided to go around the parking lot one more time (2 X Total). And luckily found parking Also noticed that the parking spaces are not marked so some ppl Park so bad that more cars could park if they were to mark the spaces so that parking area could be used accordingly... Ambiance was fine, only thing is - a lot was going on and different music everywhere to the point that in certain spots like in the middle of it all- you can get overwhelmed. They did had a spinning class outdoors so that's probably not the case all the time ! Port 27 screams POTENTIAL. Its exactly what people living in the davenport,haines city,winter haven etc. need. My first experience here was great, you walk into a beautiful area to sit, eat, relax, or even watch the lake view or sunset. I was overall impressed, it is kid friendly so if you have children you can enjoy yourself as well as your kids. Theres a play area pretty much right in the middle of everything. The food was good, we tried the formaggio pizza, the bianca and the pepperoni and i can confidently say i enjoyed them all. The crust has a great crisp and the pizza had great flavor. I love a thin pizza but i will say it was a bit flimsy but overall tasted very good. Some of my group had the chicken wings and even a hot dog, it seemed as if those were enjoyed as well (they look good) lol. We also enjoyed ourselves some ice cream and i feel that something you can never go wrong with kids and adults both enjoy some ice cream! Especially here in florida when its super hot most of the time. The tap bar on the inside isnt huge but its really nice, I cant complain as the staff was super welcoming to us, had conversations and overall was just good. They have different beer made there as well as some guest beer. Unfortunately the one I really wanted to try was out and hopefully i get to try it next time around! Im not a big beer person myself but this one was supposed to be more like a cider. Although there is not a ton of space in the bar, theres tons of seating on the outside, it seems they have stage for some events and even a tiki bar. There were a couple things that were not fully open yet but i understood that as port 27 has only been open for a little bit over a month. I would love to see a few more tvs for sports events in the bar area or even a projector outside (this would be great for the bar area). PORT 27 - A Waterfront Night Worth Pulling In For... Friday night in Florida... and instead of fighting I-4 traffic to Orlando or Tampa, I decided to pull into Port 27 and see what the buzz was about. Parking was full, always a good sign,but somehow I found a spot right as I pulled in. That already felt like the night was off to a good start... As soon as I stepped out of the car, I noticed the lighthouse glowing under a spotlight. At night, it completely transforms the space. It gives off this cool nautical, almost Nantucket-style coastal vibe the kind that makes you forget you're still in Polk County. Walking in, you're greeted by the soft glow of overhead lights and a courtyard that feels alive but relaxed. On the left are food trucks designed like train cars. Such a cool touch. There's a crêpe truck, a seafood truck, and a taco truck, all adding to the variety. They also have a burger spot and a pizza shop, so no one leaves hungry. Families were enjoying the play area in the center, letting the little ones burn off energy while adults relaxed. There's even a swing near the brewery that makes for a great picture spot. Speaking of the brewery... I didn't grab a beer this time, but that's definitely happening on my next visit. There was a DJ playing near the lake, music floating across the water. The bar sits right on the waterfront, and with the moon in a soft waxing crescent phase, just a slim "baby" crescent in the sky it made the whole scene feel cinematic. The green glow of the dock lights reflecting off the water on a Florida night? Amazing. I stopped into the coffee shop and enjoyed a cup of coffee and some Dubai chocolate squares that were absolutely worth trying (and re-trying). What I really appreciated is that Port 27 gives Polk County residents a true waterfront night-out experience without the drive to Orlando or Tampa. No I-4 commute is definitely a plus. I get the allure now. It's relaxed, scenic, family-friendly, and still great for a date night or meeting friends. The lighthouse is the perfect finishing touch it pulls the whole vibe together. WOW, this place is fantastic! Beautiful views of the water, so many options in variety of foods/restaurants, and opted for Pizza and it surely was the very best pizza I've had in years! The Port 27 Light Lager - refreshing, hint of sweetness 4% 12 ibu Orange Grove - similar to Orange Blossom Pilsner though not as sweet without the honey of course. Very good 4.6% 30 ibu POG sour - citrusy sour 6% 20 ibu Yellow Seaplane Key Lime Blonde - 5% ibu 20 Numbers are from the notes around. Very good inaugural selection. Such a cute place! I've never really been in the Lake Hamilton area despite being from Polk County. They decided to decorate for the holidays of course, and the lights stole the show! They have a few food options: a burger joint that also offers wings and hot dogs, and a pizza place. They also have separate seafood, dessert, and taco food trucks. I decided to go with the tacos. The individual working the truck was great and we got our tacos super fast. The tacos themselves were okay, but I'm used to restaurants doubling up on their corn tortillas...they only used one and the tacos kept falling apart. I had a great first experience eating and strolling this venue mid-week. Parking lot blocked a lot of spaces with cones, including handicapped, which was confusing and some shops were not open though could've been, thus minus one star. What was open was delightful to explore on a sunshiny day with multiple "shops" to stroll through and choose from. I enjoyed several, including crepes, coffee, taco & burgers...and the view of the lake. Expect a dirt parking spot and not finding anyone in charge of the whole place with construction still going on! It is set up like a wharf with each food booth being a different "shop". Port 27 is a really cool concept in an area growing and in need of something like this. We were impressed with the ambiance and set up. Everything is wooden and looks vintage. You're walking around a boardwalk with lively businesses selling food and gifts. There is a brewery serving up great beer. Live music. Plenty of space to play and eat, as long as you get there early. We left closer to 7 and the parking lot was a mess. Arriving at 515 and we parked no problems. We meandered around, looking at what was offered. The vibe is relaxed, vintage, old Florida lakeside town. We settle on pizza and taco for food. This is where the three stars come in. The pizza was lackluster. Thin and crispy crust with decent charring but low quality cheese that wasn't fully melted in the middle. The pepperonis weren't bad but this pizza wasn't anything I'd return for. The tacos were even worse. My brother-in-law is Mexican and he said they were not good. The flavor was minimal and the tortillas split in half on the bottom causing the meat to fall out. We ordered chips and queso but this taco place covers chips with a bland cheese sauce and sells it for $9. This wasn't worth it. Port 27 is cool and has an awesome location but our experience with food was subpar. We'd try other places next time. read more

So many options for food, drinks, shopping and water fun! Service was quick and the Ambiance was Chill and relaxing!

Finally got a chance to check this place out with my kids as everything I saw online made this seem like a kid friendly place which it mostly was. Parking was easy and it's free, but it is on a dirt lot so keep that in mind as you plan your footwear on a potentially rainy day. From the front/street view you don't see too much of what's really going on. Once inside though you get to see a number of shops and food offerings all around the port/pier. We gave the place a walkthrough before sitting down. There were crepes, tacos, juice/smoothie bar, pizza/italian, burger&wings spot, and an ice cream shop from what I recall, but there might have been even more. There was also the brewery/tap bar, but I didn't really bother going towards it as I don't drink. A bit more random is the offering of jet ski rentals to take out onto the lake which I saw a few people do. We settled on pizza and a salad from the italian spot and chicken fingers from the burger spot. We were pretty disappointed that the burger place didn't have fries, you'd kinda think those things go hand-in-hand with each other. Instead they served the chicken finger with kettle cooked potato chips. The chicken had a nice cook to it and the chips were just chips. The pizza was pretty good. It was very fresh and I liked the thinnest of it. The crust had a really nice crunch without being dry. The salad on the other hand... it was a Caesar, but it really could have used another touch of something extra. It just looked dull and boring. After eating I decided to grab a smoothie from the juice bar and opted for the "Caribbean smoothie" made of passion fruit, mango, and pineapple. I found it refreshing in the heat and appreciated it being water based as milk after a meal might have been a bit much. I just wish the Caesar salad had some more life to it and the lack of French fry offerings was a bit sad. I would caution anyone planning on going with kids for a few reasons. One of them being the number of parents that were drinking and not watching their kids interact with others (or at all), and the number of people in general that were clearly just drinking and oblivious to the fact that there were kids around. I would like to visit again sans kids to try a few more things. I think it's a great spot for an evening or late afternoon hang and being next to the water makes it that much more enjoyable. There's definitely some potential to this place, I hope they keep it up and I look forward to whatever other services they plan on bringing. read more

Port 27 is a nice surprise when you walk to the back. It is breathtakingly beautiful. There are a lot of little places to eat and a few stores to go into. The food that we had was just average. The Taco Wagon did not have tacos because their shipment had not come in. We got nachos that were smothered in cheese. The Burger Bar does not have a window to walk up to. Someone has to come out of the building to take your order. The burger was not seasoned at all. It was very flat. The toppings are what made the sandwich look large. The stores were not open when we were there at 11:00 AM. Not sure when they open. They are expanding and there is a lot of construction. If you just want a place to sit, relax, and look over the water, then I would highly recommend. read more

Lovely spot with so much potential. We've had the pizza twice and it's quite good, especially the wood fired crust--the dough is made by the onsite bakery. Love the beer and wine in the brewery. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Ice cream is delish. The dessert crepe from the crepery train was crunchy and overly sweet. So far the only misstep. A magical place, except if there's rain. Just not enough indoor space. Looking forward to the sit-down restaurant opening but the progress on the building seems pretty slow. I had the carne asada tacos. They were stuffed with moist, tender, and very flavorful skirt steak, dressed with a perfect amount of fresh onion, cilantro, green chili salsa, and fresh pico. The cheese and other condiments were not needed. The young man was very polite and provided good service. The location offers patio sitting located just off the lake. This is a nice spot for lunch or a date night. Nice beachy play area for those with kids. Pets on leashes are allowed. Jet ski rentals are available here, also. The staff here is very nice and helpful. Plus, ordering food here couldn't be easier. You could either go to the individual onsite eateries (pizza, burgers, tacos, crepes and seafood ceviche) OR you can do what we did and order from your seat in the Port 27 bar area via QR codes and the food will be delivered directly to you. We had pizza delivered to us and it was delicious. And my husband enjoyed his craft beer. Make sure to stop in the soap and candle store. Your nose will thank you! read more

When you first arrive you are greeted by this lighthouse and a small castle like building (event center) then you walk through some plants to this beautiful Lakeside village. There are restaurants, many places to lounge and relax. There are also places for kids, a big sand area, corn hole and a playground structure shaped like a ship. We were there celebrating a birthday and ordered hamburgers. They had a special where you got a burger, fries and a drink for $10.99 a real bargain. Our food arrived pretty quickly, and it was good. We really liked the fries that were coated in some type of seasoning. It was so relaxing dining right next to the water. Our server was very helpful because we did not know how things worked. Apparently you can order the food from a QR code and they'll deliver it to any place you are on site. It is a cashless venue, so make sure you bring your cards. There weren't not that many shops to look in. They were saying that they are building more and there is music at night. Port 27 definitely has a relaxing vibe. read more
