Who knew sandwiches made in home decor shops tasted so good? The outdoor seating has a beautiful lakeside scenery. However the inside looks like a fancy tea party. It's nice, but not for people like me. The employees were super nice at explaining their interesting ordering system. You get the menu where you write your table number, choose what you want, give it to them at the front counter, and they give you a picnic basket with your food. I had the sandwich of the day, Roast Beef Press, soup of the day, French Onion Soup, and Hummingbird Cake. This place is good and unique, I highly recommend.

One of the cutest places to go especially with friends from out of town. Atmosphere, food and service is great. Happy to have this wonderful place in Lake Alfred. I had chicken salad croissant and my best friend had the turkey. Delicious

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. Not only is the establishment "cute" and clean, but the service and food were excellent. We both ordered from their minimal menu (which is a great thing to behold), as well as the ever-changing daily soup, salad and dessert. You order on a check-off sheet, deliver it to the front counter and then it is delivered to your table. The sandwiches, soup, salad and desserts were all flavorful. The price(s) were reasonable and matched the quality of the food. The staff, including the owner who greeted and introduced himself at our table, were great. You can tell they all enjoy working here. We will definitely be back (again and again, God willing).

My family did a girls trip out here to eat and shop. I had never been here before and I was not disappointed! Starting with the drive up everything outside is adorable and was decorated for fall and Christmas. There was lots of parking available and it was busy but not overcrowded on a Saturday morning. To order here you grab a menu and fill it out at your table where they have pencils set out for you. Write your table number on top and then mark what items you want to eat and then bring it up to a cashier. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly. They have a great deal for $10.99 and it comes with a sandwich, a soup, salad and dessert. Lunches are served in the cutest little basket to your table and there is quite a variety to choose from. I had the beef sandwich that was made with a horsey sauce and French dressing and it was so so good! The tomato soup was delicious and the pasta salad was yummy too. I loved the carrot cake as it was moist and had a great flavor. It was the perfect amount of food and I loved being able to taste so much of the menu. Shopping is available in the restaurant but also at the other 3-4 stores on property. The only downfall of this place is I was hoping for some local made Christmas decor.

A very cozy and cute place. I found out about it via a foodie video on Facebook so my sister, Mum, and I made the trek from Tampa to see it. It is a truly special place. The concept of having a little basket delivered to you with goodies sold me! You get a sheet of paper, circle what you want, and then hand it off. They bring it all out to you once it's ready. It was only $10.99 for an entree, salad, soup, and dessert. Because of how good the price was, I didn't have much qualms about the portion sizes. It reminded me of when your grandma lovingly packs a lunch for you to take to school. There's no frills about it, it's just decent food.

What a truly special place! We drove out from Orlando and it 100% is worth the drive. Wonderful food and beautiful ambiance. You get so much food at a really affordable price. Everyone loved what they ordered. It's a great place to spend the afternoon relaxing, shopping, and antiquing.

What an amazing place to spend a few hours of your day. The back porch gives you that warm welcome home feeling the moment you walk into the doors. The staff are so friendly and make you feel right at home. The food is fantastic and is priced very well. The owner came by our table multiple times to check on us and we cannot be more pleased. If you're looking for something or somewhere to bring family this is the place!! Ps. We'd give you 10 stars if we could

I lovedddd this place! It was a 10/10 for the expierence, the food, the customer service, and of course the scenery/ ambiance. I can't recommend this place enough. Perfect place for a date or lunch with friends or family. Your food gets served in picnic baskets and it's only $10.99 for an entree, salad, soup, & dessert. Definitely worth the money and the time!

Festive Chicken Salad sandwich with potato salad and dessert of the day - peanut butter explosion cake

Such a cute spot in a rural setting. This was my first time here. My friend selected this place for a Witches Day Out themed event for Halloween. I had never heard of this place before so I'm glad she picked this spot. Since we had a large group, they had roped off a section of the back porch for our party and even had fans placed out for us. Thankfully, it was a comfortable day outside with Fall around the corner. There is a nice view of the lake out on the porch deck. We saw fish, turtles, birds and even a baby gator. You place your order by checking off a double-sided paper menu. Prices were very reasonable, for food and drink. Take the menu and pay at one of 2 registers, inside or out. Food was brought out promptly afterwards in a white rectangular box. I noticed other reviews talked about baskets. Not sure if the cardboard boxes are used now due to COVID or if it is just a change they made. Either way, it works. I liked the simple aspect of it all. The food portions were sufficient. Not too much and not too little for me. I am usually a big eater but was satisfied. I ordered the sandwich, side and dessert for $7.97. The daily special had a Festive Chicken Salad on the menu so I went with that. It was basically their chicken salad sandwich with a little more oomph. It added apples, cranberries and a couple other things, which added interesting texture and flavor. The potato salad was good too. I went with the dessert of the day, which was peanut butter chocolate explosion. It was tasty but didn't knock my socks off, still good though. Enjoyed both the frozen sangria and the frozen peach bellini. Out of the 2 that I tasted, I preferred the sweetness of the peach. The owner was friendly and informative. He told us a little about the history of the place, with it being in his family since the early 60's I believe. It started with the antique store and added more from there. He was very accommodating to our group. Some ladies arrived a little late and the place closes at 4. Thankfully, he and his family live on the property and gave us extra time to finish our meals and take pictures at the many different photo shoot opportunities they have around their large property. Never felt rushed. Although it is a 45 minute drive for me, I need to make it out hrre again. Would love to look around the gift shop as I didn't make it in there this time around.

Excellent lunch, friendly atmosphere, ecletic shopping. I had split pea soup, bbq pork sandwich, cole slaw, cherry tart desert and spiced raspberry iced tea.

Nice little find. Food was good, pricing is excellent. I enjoyed ordering the multi course meal. Everyone was very nice. Sat outside overlooking a small pond with a baby gator swimming around. Will go again.

The pastrami sandwich was outstanding, featuring tender, flavorful pastrami piled high on marbled rye with Swiss cheese and Dijon mustard. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the portion size was generous. The Philly Burger was equally impressive and definitely lived up to the hype. The wings also had great flavor, and the sauces were well-balanced and evenly coated. We requested them extra crispy, but the skin ended up a bit chewy. Given that the order was delivered, this was likely due to steam building up inside the to-go container during transit rather than an issue with preparation. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal with plenty of flavor and impressive portion sizes. We're looking forward to working our way through more of the menu in the near future.

As someone who eats at my local Texas RH once a week like it's church I must give Manny's his flowers. While visiting town we saw this restaurant on our way in and knew we needed to try it. The atmosphere and vibe is great. It has a lot of older antique movie stuff and old Americana things like the Blues brother's. That was refreshing to see. Texas RH gives away free peanuts and Manny's has fresh buttered popcorn to eat while u wait. Movie theater quality! The staff are all friendly and welcoming. We had Tiffany as our server and she was so good we came back the next night and asked for her again. The oven hot sweet dinner rolls with cinnamon butter or regular butter are IMO lighter and better than TRH. The endless made table side Cesar salad was exceptional and better than TRH and I helped myself to 2nds and 3rds. The sirloin and shrimp dinner special is worth it. On night one I went with the butter crab stuffed shrimp, it was OK but on night two I went with the fried shrimp and that was the best fried shrimp ever. They butterfly it and use a wonderful batter that's crunchy and flavorful. They give u large shrimp too. The sirloin was cooked perfectly med/rare but did need a little salt but good quality meat. I do prefer the TRH steak seasoning instead. The next night I opted for the rib eye and that was on point. Excellent quality and flavor. My daughter had prime rib two nights in a row and had the left overs for breakfast with no complaints. My side was the fully loaded baked potato that 2nd to none in flavor and toppings. They give a free ice cream dessert on your first visit! Loved it! If you're ever in the area make sure you try this fantastic chop house.
