Worst doctor and even worse human being . He botched and disfigured my eyes beyond repair because technique that he uses to do lower and upper lid surgery is from years ago He is not trained or capable of doing surgeries with less scaring and less downtime . He damaged the muscle under my eyes and I have permanent scarring, pulled down lids with sclera showing which leads to dry and painful eyes and very ugly eyes shape . Upper lids are in bad condition too as he took way too much skin - they pull and I am in pain all the time and of course they look bad too . Lumps and scaring all over my eyes . Then he injected a filler Restylane under my eyes and the situation is even worse now as he can't even inject fillers the right way . I hate to leave a bad review but I am very disappointed with my experience. I received a chin lipo in December and was told if he was unable to get everything or if I was dissatisfied for any reason, he would redo the surgery. (He didn't think we would need to) My friend, who used the same doctor was satisfied with her results but agrees that mine doesn't look complete. The day of the surgery he admitted he was slightly ill, same friend heard him say this, and I think that's the reason for my results. When I came in for my second follow up appt, they had a flood in the waiting room. They ensured me they'd call me to rebook my appt and no call. Now that I'm telling him I want it redone; 7 months post, he wants to charge me $500 for the anesthesia, which was not mentioned at our initial appt. It was no major issue, just very minor corrections (I did not have a c section, was not overweight, no real it. I was told that it would be so very easy to accomplish what I wanted this way. That he would remove the scar tissue and that my stomach would then be tight and flat. I did not want a scar, but this seemed like my only choice. They assured me that the scar would be quite small. I went here for surgery last year and had the worst experience EVER. The right side looks fine and the left side is all bumpy, lumpy and ugly. I came here to try and feel better about myself and walked away feeling embarrassed, upset and somewhat mad about how my body looks. When I did go back to him to show what a bad job he did and to see what The doctor wanted to do he told me I looked fine, he did nothing wrong and if I wanted to be "fixed" I would have to repay for everything. I had rhinoplasty and chin lipo in July 2013 and I could not be happier with the whole experience! The doc and entire staff were all so nice and explained every detail of everything I should expect from the procedure to recovery to the final results. My nose, that once curved out at the bridge and curved down at the tip is now beautifully and perfectly straight and the downward tip is gone! My jaw line has returned! I love that the change is so subtle to most people, but really noticeable to me and the 'new' nose still perfectly fits the shape of my face. The results are even better than I had hoped! I went to see Dr Widenhouse about having a lipoma removed. After about a 10 minute consult he told me it would be an easy procedure and that his office staff would check with my insurance to see what they would cover and get back to me. After 10 days of not hearing anything I called the office and was told by the woman that deals with insurance that she had been off and had not contacted my insurance yet. She said that they would call once she did. I never heard from them again. Apparently my case was not worth their time, but they did think the consult was worth $280 which they did charge to my insurance. read more

Good luck . I went here last to get smart Lipo on my lower abdomen and thighs. When I went back for the follow up appointment everything was looking ok at first. The dr said it takes about 8months to year to see finally results. Ha only for my top belly to look bigger than the bottom now that sticks and looks horrible in dresses. I went back for touch up which I still had to pay another 3 grand for it to look worst than the first procedure. One of my legs are bigger than the other the right of my flanks lumpy and my lower still looks the same . I had my breast augmentation done just shy of a year ago and I am so pleased! My husband and I visited 3 doctors (2 near where we live) and Dr. Widenhouse was one of the only doctors that took the time to personally meet with us and answer our questions. The other doctors showed us a video and the nurse spoke to us the majority of our visits. Upon arriving to his office, I felt very welcomed and was so surprised at how friendly and professional his staff was. At first, you can assume that they probably put on a friendly face in hopes of gaining new patients, but every time I visited the office, I always left with a smile and happy with my decision to go with him. This was my first surgery, so I was very, very nervous on the BIG day. So much so that I stopped cold in my tracks once I saw the operating table and wanted to go back home. But the sweet, sweet nurse took my hand and calmed me down. The anesthesiologist calmed my nerves as well by talking things through and letting me know that what I was experiencing was completely normal, but that I was in the best hands. I honestly will never forget how comfortable they both made me feel as I was terrified with tears rolling down my face wondering why I was so vain. The care I received was unmatched and would do again in a heartbeat. I think it's natural that people are unsure of size and type of augmentation to get. I didn't know even up until the day of the surgery! My only request was that I didn't look like a stripper (I'm a wife and a mom of 3...it was hard enough explaining why I decided to do this to my then 14 year-old son) and wanted to look natural (I was less than an A). Dr. Widenhouse made me perfect. Even when i tell my friends after they have seen me in the bathing suit for the first time since the BIG day, they are amazed at how natural they look and want to know who did them. I also want to add that we live 2 hours away from his office. Worth. The. Drive. I would recommend Dr. Widenhouse to anyone and already have to my friends. I brag about my experience and even offer to go with them if they decide to because of the care and attention I received. Had a breast reduction and some skin removal on 12/5/17. Dr. Widenhouse is a caring and compassionate surgeon. I have severe lupus and just drs would be terrified to touch me. However in the consolation we talked and I had researched what I was getting into. They made sure to get my surgery in before the end of dec 2017 before my new deductible and stuff would start(we had a delay in our move to SC). We ended up in the upstate instead of Charleston or Columbia where we thought we would move to. They worked with me being 4 hours away. Despite everything I did develop a complication. I expected it having lupus and ehlers danos syndrome. Dr Widenhouse was way more disappointed and upset than I was. The reason why was because he said I had done everything asked of me and still developed one but others don't and have perfect recoveries and it wasn't fair. I was fine. We developed a plan to deal with it and its healing nicely but very slowly. I'm happy we had a plan immediately. He was open to alternative treatment such as arnica gel and honey to speed healing. Staff is super too. I think some of the negative reviews are from people that were not educated from the process and wanted perfection and had out of touch expectations. It takes both parties to know what the expectations are. Even now I'm like what's a few scars, I don't have huge boobs that hit my knees anymore. Dr. Widenhouse is already making sure my scars will be minimal even if it doesn't bother me. I have three more surgeries to do (due to huge weight loss and lymphadema) and will head to him in an instant for them. I know several people he has done surgery on and all were pleased. I'm estatic that my back, shoulders and neck pain are all gone now! I'm very pleased with the results of my breast reduction even with the complication. (The complication is not anyone's fault!
