I saw Dr. Funcik for the Botox equivalent and am extremely happy with my results. He is a very friendly doctor and not rushed at all.

Initially my girlfriend purchased $2500 worth of cold sculpting and Jeuveau injectables. My girlfriend purchased the injectables for me and her to do together, but when we went to the clinic we found that she could not transfer the credits to me, which seemed odd because they were already purchased. I elected to buy them myself to support my girlfriend and do something new together. $370 later with a $75 coupon I found myself pretty excited since they were projected to last 4 months or so. Long story short. I went back for another procedure because the initial application did not work and spots were missed. I looked like I had bad Botox . I came back a week or so later to get it fixed and was charged $75 more dollars, which I would have paid $1000 at this point to get myself from looking the way I did. I then took a third trip back because my wrinkles came back in 3 weeks. After talking with Dr Hensley he said 3 others had stated the same problem that were treated the same day (my girlfriend being one of them) and it could be a bad batch. Dr. Hensley and I talked while I explained that I would be a life long customer if we could find a product that worked. He stated he would give me a credit, and to check in a week or so. I called today and no credit was applied. Notes were put in my file regarding my issue but no credit. He straight up lied to my face, and his administrative clerk/ social media rep was the one who had to deal with it. I felt bad for her. My girlfriend on the other hand was told she never received a promotional deal and each treatment would be at full cost. This was done after all of her treatments were complete. Unfortunately we have the flyer and my girlfriend purchased the items with 2 other of her girlfriends, so we will see how this turns out. In the end I'm very disappointed in how me and my girlfriend were treated by the owner and some staff members. It felt like we became the enemy when we just wanted to buy and try some of the services available. I feel like they are struggling to pay the bills or something and they need every dollar they can get.

After looking at some of her work of past clients via Instagram, I called the office to schedule an appointment which was a breeze -- grateful to schedule a session on my day off from work. I didn't catch the names but the staff at the front desk is incredibly welcoming, hospitable, and professional. Upon checking-in there's some paperwork but not that much to fill out. The office is tastefully decorated and the soap in the bathroom has a nice exfoliant to it! Didn't have to wait long at all, Anissa greeted me with a smile and asked some questions. She gave me options and felt the best would be a simple fill-in. She places some numbing cream to the area and you relax for 20 minutes. When it comes to color swatches, Anissa showed me 3 options where we decided on a shade that was most fitting. This microblade session felt more comfortable due to knowing how the sensation of the needle feels like - to me it's like a mechanical pencil being gently scraped in the brow area. The after-care is straightforward plus the kit she gives helps with the healing process so there's no scars, infection, and keep flaking to a minimal. The website is another good resource on what to expect and how to prepare, like pausing tretinoin treatment to not drinking alcohol the night before. Would recommend this office in a heartbeat. It's clean, calm, and the crew is very professional. May consider other treatments down the line!

Because of the location of it, we wanted to make sure we found someone who could remove it with minimal scars. After doing a lot of research, we found that Dr. Hensel was likely the only doctor that could give him the results he really wanted. This doctor is so good that he has been featured in Vogue Magazine and his waiting list proved how good he was (that's my opinion anyway). The procedure was quick and clean and the results (although not 100% healed yet) are incredible. I'm amazing at how good it looks even now, I can only imagine how it'll look in the near future when it has finished healing. The only bad part about the procedure was the wait, but that's what you get with good doctors. The staff could have done a better job at replying back to us when we first inquired about the Doctor, but because the results are so good and that is what we have to live with, I'm rating this place a 5. We aren't talking about waiting for a meal here, we are talking about getting the best care we can get for our bodies. Who cares about a longer wait when the results are exactly what you want?

Dr. Kline and Dr. Craigie performed (along with the equally stellar Oncologist Dr. Paul Baron) the skin sparing procedure with DIEP flap reconstruction - it is beyond amazing. The work they have done has brought tears to my eyes multiple times over the past weeks during recovery... I know the journey is not over yet and there will be at least one revision (this always depends on personal taste), but I'll be traveling back here to work with them throughout. NO WORDS CAN EVER THANK OR PRAISE THEM ENOUGH FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE FOR ME!!! To add? At every turn when I went 'anywhere' for tests or pre-op appointments, folks would say "wow, you've got the dream team"! Even my doctors in Charlotte spoke with such respect for this team! Amazing amazing amazing! UPDATE! It's been right at 1year, and just had surgery #3 (paddles removed after radiation healing).... and I feel sexy again! I don't think I realized how much I missed that because I was so focused on just getting cancer free and healing... But when you feel sexy again after not really thinking that's important it has a huge impact! That is AGAIN why Dr. Kline is just so amazing! Every time it's like I'm getting a piece of me 'back' rather than loosing anything! Working with Dr. Kline is more than kicking cancer, it's like shoving cancer to the ground and feeling like you just kicked the biggest bully around!

Goodbye to my former self and a WARNING to those contemplating what I once considered a small…read morecosmetic procedure ....I just wanted to take a moment and share my story to spare someone from going through what I've gone through; the life long complications and the realization that I will be permanently disfigured both aesthetically and functionally. The face in the mirror will NEVER be the same as it was prior to January 30th nor will my soul. On January 30th: Celebrating my 40th Birthday I decided to get filler in my nasolabial folds (wrinkles between the lips and nose). Feb 1st: Incredible pain and white blanching/bluish tint. Told it was normal. Bruising. Feb 2nd: Realized what I was experiencing was skin necrosis and the tissue on the left side of my nose was dead and the cartilage was collapsing in on itself. This was from my own "gut instinct" that it wasn't bruising as I was told; the black skin was not going to "grow back". A laser treatment or IPL was not going to reshape my nose, as I was told. For the next several weeks I was shuffled to a "private" waiting room as to not let other potential clients see the damage that was done to my face. My self esteem, at an all time low, was further shattered by being hidden from plain view because the "med spa" didn't want their bottom line to be hurt. After that "follow up", where I was yet again told everything was fine and put "Aquaphore" on it; I made the decision that it was time to seek proper treatment from a competent medical professional. What followed was many months of not being able to leave my house unless it was to get my wet to dry bandages changed. The possibility of infection and further cartilage damage was my sentence to spend the next four months within the four walls of my home. In May I underwent my first reconstruction surgery. Skin and cartilage was taken from my ear to reconstruct the interior of my nose. This helped me be able to breath again (50%) from my left nostril. It was the first of many surgeries and procedures that will occupy the better part of my life. To hear the words, from a well respected facial reconstruction surgeon, that I will be permanently disfigured- was a tough pill to swallow. Yes, I made the ultimate decision to under go the procedure. However, I was never warned of the risks. I had absolutely no idea what to look for. Had I been properly informed of ALL the risks; even if they are considered rare, perhaps I would had made a more INFORMED decision. I was never given a waiver to review or sign. I never was verbally told of the dangers. I'm letting you know the risks and dangers of what some consider a small "cosmetic" procedure. If you are going to go that route; please consider going to a board certified surgeon. Someone that is familiar with the product they are injecting in your body. And if there is a complication, they are knowledgeable to be able to help you before the damage becomes permanent. The sad part, the "med spa" that did this, never once offered to pay ANY of my medical bills. Never heard from them again after the last follow up in mid February. I guess they thought I would go away and they were above the law. But doctors take a Hippocratic Oath to uphold specific ethical standards. This was not the case at Aestedispa in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Shame on you Dr. Christy Cone. I hope you don't do this to another client and hide behind your fake smile.
