Absolutely thorough examination, including a machine I've never been tested on that predicts eye health, and apparently will detect glaucoma four years before anything else. Highly recommended, and I am the worst critic ever!

I asked if he had any specific biker shorts in stock & he laughed in my face & asked if i've ever "even been to a Lulu before". I have been shopping at Lulu for years and had nothing but positive experiences with staff at the Nanaimo pop up. But Jordan is BY FAR one of the rudest employees i've ever met anywhere, bar none.

This is honestly one of the strangest malls I've ever been to…read more It's really quite small -- which isn't always a determining factor in how good or bad a mall is -- but the vibe here really weirded me out. It's mostly full of seniors, so it is quiet, but there are so little people here it made me kind of depressed. The people here who aren't seniors are parents shopping at the Save On attached to the mall, younger people having lunch at their oh so strange food court, or people just passing through (like myself). I was a little hungry when I came across this little place, but the only options were an orange Julius (meh), a Chinese place (East West Cafe) which looked less than appetizing. And finally an Indian place that might as well not have been there they had so little food. There's also another space in the food court sitting empty, and whatever was there appears to have moved out (I don't blame them). There is also the entrance to a medical clinic smack dab in the middle of the food court, which just seems odd. As for the stores themselves, there's honestly nothing here I'd think about going into. They have a Bootlegger, and while they do have nice clothes, it's just too pricey for what it is. This mall is just so odd and bleak; I don't know what to think about it. I'm not likely to return.

You'll find a number of items, food and other items that are very Canada specific, such as Maple syrup, Maple tea, and other maple-related snacks. We also found it hard to find a shop where you can find clothing that lasts and is very comfortable. We picked up a couple fleece and shirts here and they survived the wash and are still comfortable weeks later, and they were such a good price, nearly half of what you'd expect. The deals on standard keychains and magnets were also very good so we bought dozens.

It has big empty spaces with nothing there, lots of empty boxes and packaging strewn about, and everything -- and I mean EVERYTHING -- was on sale. (Is the chain closing or something? I've heard otherwise, but it seems like they are.) It's a decent mall, but it's just devoid of life. I've gotta stop venturing into obscure malls, it makes me feel weird :/

To be honest, we visit each time we're in the area but there's not many stores we would shop at. It's just fun to peruse and window shop here. It is a pretty dated mall but people love it. We tried the food court a few times and the food here is okay but you'll probably do better venturing to eat outside. Overall, a fun place to pass the time and a centre for community.

The food was laid out so picturesque at some stalls as well. Everything was very much made fresh to order as well. The facility itself is fairly clean and the restrooms seem to be serviced regularly. I do wish the entrances smelled less like cigarettes but they can't really control what goes on outside and the way that it wafts inside.

In fact, the multi year transformation that its currently undergoing makes it less of a traditional mall and more of a mini city that has spawned into a mixed-use commercial district. Their use of natural lighting all throughout the space makes it an ideal place for a photo in any corner. In addition to the space, many stores have stepped in with a good number that are high-end to appease all of the new money coming into the city of Richmond. It has become a leisurely destination for families and teenagers as folks roam the mall from corner to corner. One of the most significant transformations has been their food court, which has been dubbed the DiningTERRACE and features a number of food and drink spots. The only downside has been the mediocrity of most spots, which has plenty of room for improvement. Parking is also a mess, especially during the weekend. Folks are constantly competing for space and camping out has become a necessity during their busiest times. As many skyscrapers have been built nearby and it's proximity to the metro rail, this place will only serve to be busier as time goes on. ____________ (#1) 18 years has flown by.
