I also love that they communicate via email, which is so convenient. They also worked with me on some insurance and billing issues. They keep it real. The insurance they take is unfortunately a little limited but I would definitely recommend Dr. Darling and his wonderful staff if you're looking for a dentist in the area.

The office and lobby *look* very nice. The receptionists that I have interacted with were mostly rude and unhelpful. This is the type of place that will find all possible ways to make money off you, whether it's necessary or not. The fake-nice Barbie doll dentist barely looked in my mouth during the "exam". My son who has only had a couple of fillings in 17 years, suddenly incurred 5 cavities since our last dental appointment 6 months ago??? Like a dummy, I went ahead and had the work done on 3 of his teeth. (I was charged $438 for 3 surfaces on cavities that were described as tiny. There was an issue with our insurance coverage, and I later found out they weren't covered. They quoted me around $120 copay which I paid at the time of service. Then several months later, we received a bill for over $1000. They did not even have the decency to mail me a bill. They emailed it to my minor child. What?!?! I called to request someone to review the situation & work with me, since I am a single mother and I cannot afford a dental bill like this. they mis-quoted me and their prices they charge are outrageous. I thought that they would try to work something out, based on the multiple errors made by their staff. No one called me back. I waited 10 days and called again. The woman who answered the phone, lied and told me that someone had already called me back. Nope! they did not. She also told me that they would not consider adjusting my bill at all. Horrible service!! Additionally, at my exam, the dentist had told me that I needed a crown and my co-pay would be over $1000. I had 2 crowns placed in the past two years (at another practice) each co-pay was $500-$600. That gives you an idea of how they will appoint the highest price materials and/or overcharge you. (I was never offered a less expensive type of crown when I balked at the price). I said I'm not going to do that right now, and they harassed me multiple times to make the appointment. I have since switched to a new Dentist. I made an appointment for them to quote me on the crown. Guess what, they told me that I do not need a crown on that tooth! However, I did have a cavity on another tooth, in which I had complained about sensitivity. There was clearly a cavity on the side of that tooth, which the LFD Dentist should have seen if she actually looked in my mouth. Nicole called me back. She was condescending and unapologetic and refused to even consider adjusting my bill. She did offer a 10% uninsured discount which brought the bill from $1100 to $1000. Really no help at all!!! This place is a total scam. I will be contacting the DSPS regarding my experience at this place!

Everything about the process was great--scheduling the appointment, cleaning with dental hygienist, X-rays (way cooler with new technology), examination with Dr. Smith as well as follow up appointments for the mouth guard he designed and made for me within a week. I highly recommend Dr. Andy Smith. My children (now teens) have outgrown the pediatric dentist and will be seeing Dr. Smith this summer because I trust him that much.

I visited for a lost filling (lower right second molar). A crown was recommended by her. I developed excruciating pains throughout my entire upper/lower jaw, gums, teeth, and upper neck after her temporary crown procedure. This lasted nearly 2 months, right up until another dentist addressed the pain by removing her temp crown and putting on his own. At my follow-up (originally for the permanent crown), Dr. Murphy spent barely a minute looking in my mouth before confidently declaring how a root canal was a must, based on "90% of her cases," not any imaging or patient-centered examination. When I emphasized that I had absolutely no pain whatsoever before her temporary crown procedure, she only gave me pitying looks, said teeth just wear away over time, insisted on no other alternative other than root canal, and suggested a "second opinion" -- from her referred endodontist she would have perform it, and Murphy to place the permanent afterwards. With my concerns of rushing invasive procedure, she sarcastically said we'll wait it out a week to see if it is a "magical tooth" that doesn't need a root canal to rid of the pain. Alarmingly, she even warned that without a root canal, an abscess would inevitably lead to tooth extraction. My insurance denied coverage for her crown procedure, stating no serious signs of decay or damage observed on their end. When I brought that up to her, she countered that insurance coverage denials are common at her practice, that they are accustomed to challenging and even threatening insurance companies. Other dental offices I contacted thereafter while seeking a new permanent dentist all disputed Dr. Murphy's certainty of a root canal based on my symptoms, one dentist office explaining that even slight misalignment of temp crowns can cause the pain I was experiencing. Her abscess/tooth extraction comments were sharply rejected by these other dental offices I called up. Even Dr. Murphy's own assistant seemed confused about her abscess/extraction warning. I opted not to move forward with any further treatment past her temp crown, got my refund and set up shop with another dentist who removed her temp crown and placed his own. Within only a week of his procedure, my pain is largely nonexistent, and I can now eat pain-free on that side again-no root canal needed. Near 2 months of torture and agonizing pain because of Dr. Murphy's rushed pressuring towards a costly invasive procedure. I am now seeing an incredibly reliable dentist. Guess I have a magic tooth after all, Dr. Murphy. Patients beware!!!

Dr. Eslami is one of the kindest, most compassionate physicians I have ever met. His calm demeanor, patience, and genuine concern for his patients immediately put me at ease. He took the time to answer every question, never made me feel rushed, and treated me with such kindness that I always felt I was in the best hands. Dr. Eslami is also an exceptionally skilled periodontist. I originally expected gum grafting on two teeth, but during surgery he was able to successfully treat four teeth in addition to performing my frenectomy. His precision, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome far exceeded my expectations. The results have been nothing short of amazing. The before-and-after photos I attached were taken just one week apart, and I was blown away by the transformation in such a short time. Knowing that I'll continue to heal over the coming months makes me even more appreciative of Dr. Eslami's expertise. I also want to recognize Shauna, Sarah, and Aubrey, who made every visit a positive experience. They were warm, compassionate, reassuring, and genuinely fun to be around. Their kindness helped turn what could have been a stressful experience into one where I actually looked forward to my appointments. She's been here since the beginning, and through the 4 doctors I've seen. Oh wait. I've known Deb the longest, but seriously, I keep coming back for all the other personnel I see. Kim is also very nice at the front, though I haven't built up as nice as a rapport with her yet. Stevie is also the best! Currently my doctor is Dr. Anderson and my hygienist is Stevie. Dr. Anderson is nice and straight forward, and explains things very well for me. I've mostly only had normal check ups and cleaning since I've been seeing her and haven't had any procedures done. But she is sure-fingered and confident, and I would be happy to get any treatment done with her. Well, I guess I won't be happy to get anything done with my teeth... Cleaning is like pulling teeth as it is. lol. Stevie is another reason I keep coming back here every 6 months. Despite her having only one day available out of a week! She's gentle and kind, but gets my teeth feeling polished. And so friendly. And so informative.
