Cute little restaurant/bar with a Scottish food menu. Some of the items are meant for sharing, like…read morethe Scotch eggs and toast with whipped cheese, while others are single servings, like the salads and bangers and mash. I made a light summer meal of the house salad and half order of one Scotch egg, although I found the two creamy dressings to be too much. The cocktail list is relatively long and very tempting, but we got (and enjoyed) 3 sazeracs. Service was slow, but we didn't mind, because we had a lot to catch up on, and football was on the telly. Next to no parking in their private lot. Didn't try the restrooms. P.s. use the lower door off the patio to enter/exit.

Quaint little restaurant in a historic building with a nice outdoor area. They could probably do…read moremore with the outside, like improve the tables and chairs, but it was nice nonetheless. Unfortunately, the food was merely average. On top of that, the kitchen must have been backed up because we waited FOREVER for our food. Let's start with the food highlight - the fish and chips. A large beer battered piece of delicate fish served with nice, crispy fries. Really good. Unfortunately everything else was average. We enjoyed the Scotch eggs. Check that, we enjoyed the Scotch egg. We ordered a half portion for $9, thinking we'd be too full if we got the full portion. Wrong about that one. $9 for one egg. We also ordered the goat cheese toast with tomato jam. It was a few pieces of French bread with a smear of goat cheese spread. Four small pieces for $12. I expected more. For the other mains, we got the bangers and mash, the smoked salmon sandwich and the pot roast mac. Each was Ok but nothing to write home about. The mac and cheese was bland. This is a small family run business that needs support, plus it's such a neat little place that I'd love to come back, but I just don't see that happening.
