At 20 lanes, this is not a massive bowling alley, but it is nice size. They keep it clean here, and I liked the more open seating it has at the lanes than some of the other alleys I go to. Pricing here was actually a bit better than most of the north county lanes, but the tradeoff for me, is the drive. We have really been enjoying the Kids Bowl Free program. Nice friendly staff, however there seems to be a system breakdown in the way the list is created and followed when there's a wait for bowling. We were third in line when we got there at 10:45 and at 11:45 when I checked, we were still third in line yet people behind us on the list were put on lanes ahead of us. perhaps a basic paper sign in sheet would be more efficient, and the staff wouldn't be bothered to be checking status throughout the process. it seems there too many people accessing the computer list is a recipe for disaster! read more

Took two of my kiddos bowling here on a hot Saturday afternoon. Perfect reasonably priced indoor activity to get out of the house but escape the heat. Loved that I could reserve everything online. They offer a decent arcade as well if you have gamer kids like I do. Full bar and snack bar kickin out bowling alley grub and libations. Got a handful of pool tables and ample seating. So my parents and my son have the bowl free pass for here so it just happened to be my sons birthday yesterday so we did a big celebration today and the whole family came out. It was so much fun! They had so many sized balls for everyone. It was crowded for a Friday night which means it was really popular! The front desk staff was amazing! I am very surprised by the recent raving reviews because we had the WORST experience here and will stay far away from Temecula Lanes. Walked in on a random week day evening, and as soon as we get to the front counter there were 3-4 young teen workers basically avoiding eye contact so they wouldn't have to do their jobs. Mind you, it was completely dead and there was no line, It was soo awkward! BF had to say something out loud just to talk to someone -- they said it was a 15 min wait, fine, we said we'd order food in the meantime, walk over to the dining area in the back, and NO ONE was there - it was a ghost town. We waited 5 min and go back to the front counter to see if it was closed or if they were on break? Apparently the chick who was taking orders was at the front counter, HEARD us say we're gonna order food, and didn't bother to walk over to help. Had us standing there for 5 min for nothing... Like WTF is wrong with these people. Walked back to the dining area with her, didn't even apologize, finally ordered. Our lane was ready and EVERYTHING WAS OILY -- I was worried for our safety honestly, because we couldn't even bowl normally. The oil was backtracking all the way to our seats. The people next to us were slipping and sliding. That's how I knew it was bad. As much as I love to support local businesses, Do not waste your time coming here. What a very nice bowling facility! This was our first time here and we were all impressed! It's very clean and nicely laid out! We reserved Lane 10 today and had so much fun! Our grandson was hungry and so was I. I strode over to the bar/grill area past the neon bright arcade and pool tables. The friendly, young lady behind the counter was Shiko and took my order. She was very friendly and I told her that I was impressed for my first time here. She expressed that she was happy to hear that. I asked to take her photo and she happily obliged and her photo is posted here. There are tables & benches at each lane, which makes it convenient when food arrives. Bowling area is alright and well maintained for such a big venue. However we came to play billiards for a couple of hours but the billiard tables are not clean. There are four billiard tables all seven-foot size with red-colored felt surfaces that are filthy with stains of spilled drinks and food. Pockets look twisted and stained with something irregular , so we decided to not touch these billiard tables and told the manager that we cannot play under such conditions. They apologized... and smiled... and returned the c/c without any charge. On the positive side is the good location and plenty of parking including several spaces designated for disabled people. read more

I am so upset. I brought 4 kids, checked in at the front desk who said wait time was an hour- so we waited an hour, then I checked on how much longer only to be told there was no more available lanes and the one they promised me was given to someone else who booked it online.... Even though I was already physically waiting before. So THEIR mistake =my fault?? They offer a "Kids Bowl Free" program during the summer (technically through a third party, yet it's advertised on their site and strongly encouraged). This sounded great, so I PAID for it. Now, today at the place, I was treated like trash bc of this. I was skipped over, not placed as a priority in anyway bc of this program - so know that you are NOT GUARANTEED a lane with this program. The lady even told me "The Kids bowl free program is a 'free' program"- I had to correct her that we paid for it. Then she told me "well, they (the company) doesn't have to pay for it." No where ANYWHERE does it warn you that you you may not get to play bc other people are a priority... This is an insane, it's a shady business practice and has to be a violation in practice and customer service. The video game side is overpriced and so is the food. I cannot believe I drove up 40mins with 4kids to wait an hour, only to return home with nothing but wasted time and frustration. Called to speak the owner- person asked if they could know what it was about, and I said no. They he proceeded to say that the owner won't be in until the next day? Uhm. This used to be a good place to bowl. I did come in today to find out that they have now doubled their price. it is now a dollar a minute for anyone who is not part of their league. That means that if you want to bowl for 45 minutes that it's $45 for one person. The service was decent, but now with the pricing, I don't know too many people who can afford this. The kids LOVED being able to see how the pins were collected by big machines behind and how the balls were run through the floorboards to the bowling ball return. My family and I came in at 2:50pm and we wanted to get a lane and it was full, and understandable, so a worker told us our lanes should be ready at 4:30, so we spent 1 hour and 40 minutes waiting in the game room. Spent all of that time wasted. Then we went to go check in at 4:19 ish a little bit earlier but NO they said that there is 37 minutes left on lane 7, we come back at 4:56 and they said lane 7 is BROKEN! Then Troy helped us and said there was 20 more minutes wait. Like NO! We are not going to wait another 20 minutes. Please have better customer service at "Temecula Lanes" and the fries and onion rings sucked. read more

We've gone to this bowling alley many times and there is one constant that we've seen every time. Lane 19 and 20 don't work and the employees all stumble around like they're out of it or honestly don't care about the customers. We went in and the lane wouldn't reset the pins correctly and instead of switching us to another lane that was available, the kid who was working at the front desk with his eyes glued to his phone just hit the rest button about 5 times until the pins finally stood up straight. I walked up to the front desk 4 times to ask for help with the pins until we couldn't take it anymore and asked for our money back. Seems like a management problem allowing these teenagers to play games on their phones while customers are getting ripped off because lanes don't work. The sad thing is, we were here a couple of months ago and that lane was giving people trouble too. They also got their money back. Its a shame to see a place with what looks like a nice atmosphere to end up being complete garbage with unengaged employees. I don't intend on coming back and I would highly recommend that people consider the risk of your lane being defective before you go here. read more

When I signed up for the league I was passed over and forgotten because I was never informed of the league start date and time, even though you had all my contact information. Fast forward three years love the league but still extremely disappointed in the front desk management.
