I'm so glad we left Vale Park Animal Hospital. Our 13 year old dog recovered well from the 9 extractions, her pain was managed, and we saved $1,500. Our dog has since turned 14 and is very healthy! Doggy dental doesn't need to cost more than your mortgage payment! It seems that Vale Park doubled or tripled their fees after they built a new facility. We took our dogs there for 21 years. They were always higher prices than most vets. All of the original vets retired. It used to feel like family. I didn't feel connected to the newer vets. They used to recommend my dog's teeth be cleaned every 2 yrs but then for 4 years they said they didn't need cleaning and then suddenly said it was needed and would be $2,400.

They also wanted to change me an additional 1300 dollars dor a CT scan that would have shown nothing. Blood work and fecal sample is what they should have done first.
