Char Grilled Maxwell Street Polish Sausage Fries Chocolate Cake Shake
    Noel F.

Had a delightful dinner here before leaving town. The Maxwell St. polish sausage is so good, loaded with grilled onions and mustard. My friend needed to order dogs to go to take home, they were able to keep all the toppings and the bun separate so no soggy dogs! And you can't beat a cake shake!! Food was quick and came out hot.

Been to one in Chicago many years ago, but this was my first visit here. I went recently specifically for the Italian beef and Chicago dog. That's what I ordered, but even though there was a poster advertising, a Chicago dog combo, the lady at the register told me they don't have that combo. Kind of confusing. Anyway, I got the Chicago dog, onion rings and an Italian beef with hot peppers. The food was good. The atmosphere was decent as well. I'll be back imagine.

Pretty sure this isn't a hotdog w/ everything on it.

Messed up order 2 times! Went back a second time the order was STILL wrong! Do better! Handing out chocolate cake because you messed up the order! At this rate you will never have any cake left!

Great prices for really good hot Italian beef sandwiches, Chicago hot dogs and chocolate cake. Bonus! Great fresh iced tea. It's busy. Be ready to wait a little bit. Lots of dirty tables, had to beg to get a cloth to wash. Recommended

I love Chicago Hot Dogs. And I loved going to Portillo's in Naperville when I lived there. So it's nice to see a Portillos in Peoria. Now if they just open one in Florida....oh yeah, there's a Portillos in Orlando and Tampa and St Pete. Love Portillos!

Kiddie corner from Bradley's campus, this is a great place for families making a college visit to stop. I've been many, many times and on this latest Peoria trip stopped for both a breakfast and a dinner. We had great, quick service both times and delicious meals. I HIGHLY recommend the appetizer sampler platter, it is my favorite thing on the menu! A trio of great apps including a creamy spinach artichoke dip with warm bread, perfect pico de gallo with tortilla chips and fresh hummus with warm pita triangles. Perfect for sharing or just having as a meal honestly! We also love the Mac n cheese and burgers! For breakfast, I recommend the Belgium waffle- it is so good!! They have a variety of typical breakfast fare as well.

She recommended the Cuban Pulled Pork Sandwich. My sandwich was huge and contained a large portion of pulled pork meat. It was delicious and the homemade chipotle bbq mayo made it all the more satisfying with its rich smoky flavor! The Cuban-style black beans were right out of Miami! Very nicely prepared and included green peas, carrots, corn, and bell peppers, as well. My dining companion, for her part, ordered the Falafel platter, with a side order of gyro meat. The falafel (a dozen), were fresh, tasty, and just the right consistency. These were served with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pita, and hummus. The side order of gyro meat featured a generous portion of decadently succulent lamb shavings and included two portions of homemade tzatziki sauce. Everything we ate was prepared to perfection and could easily compete with exceptional restaurants in Chicago! Yes, the food at One World is that good. As for the service, our waitress Quincy was friendly and professional. As for the ambiance and decor--we arrived ahead of the lunch crowd, so it was pretty quiet. The decor, however, is nicely done. The premises were clean and well maintained. Ditto the restrooms. The restaurant is actually huge. There are multiple dining areas and in the summer there is an outside patio behind the restaurant, as well. As for pricing and affordability--quality costs, and the food here is definitely a cut above. That being said, the owners have priced the entrees quite reasonably considering the generous portion-size and quality of the food. My overall opinion? If you want a dining experience worthy of comparison to the best Chicagoland has to offer, but don't want to make the long drive--or pay twice as much--then I highly recommend this little gem of a locally-owned restaurant in Peoria!

I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fresh fruit. . The chicken came as ordered, plain, with a side of honey mustard. The fruit was also very fresh! Everything was very tasty! My friends ordered the tenderloin and unfortunately I can't remember my other friend's order. They did say the enjoyed the food and too home the extras to finish. I thought my server was wonderful. I am currently on a low salt diet and she did her best to accommodate my needs. After she found out the tenderloin only came breaded she checked to make sure that would be okay, which it wasn't, but helped me order something else. She also didn't charge me extra for the fruit since I was unable to have a side. The cafe was very busy, but not too noisy, except for maybe one person who was seated across from us. I cannot wait to return, I had an exceptional meal.

This place 520 has become our family breakfast on Saturday mornings when we visit. The place is always busy. Sometimes we gotta wait on a table but they usually move pretty quick. On thus trip I talked to the owner as I was paying and told him how good everything was and how far we drove and had to drive home. Oscar is his name and is a great guy. As I was paying he fiddled with the register and as he gave me my change he slipped me a gift card. I was kinda taken back a little and we talked a little more then I went back to the table to finish our coffee to get ready to leave. I got to say the staff here is spot on. Never did we want for anything. The food was great and coffee was delicious. So we pack up the kids and go out to the cars to transfer bags and luggage when I turn around and here comes Oscar the owner. Evidently I dropped the card he had given me. He came right out and we talked a little more to the point I feel we made new friends with each other. I totally recommend eating here. You won't be disappointed. Bring your kids and family and enjoy a great home style breakfast. It's great!

I was a little nervous hoping my 17yo picky non celiac son would find something he would like in a gf restaurant. I worried for nothing! He and I ordered the smash burgers and they were exceptional. He didn't even mind the "special sauce" which is amazing because the only thing he usually puts on a burger is salt. The warm chips were great as well. The wife got a "p-dizzle" flat bread. It was SO good. I almost forgot that we ordered cheese bites for an appetizer. They were served with a pineapple medley and a hummus dip. Holy cow were they fantastic! Their menu is quite large and we can't wait to go back. I was also impressed with the prices. Gf food is quite expensive and this place does a nice job offering delicious gf food at a very reasonable price! The service was a tad slow but I think they were short handed so that's totally understandable. All of the staff were extremely nice. And finally, the ambiance. We ended up staying there talking for a couple of hours to catch up, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. While there are lots of great options on the menu, both of us chose the BPT - Breaded Pork Tenderloin. I've eaten a lot of breaded pork tenderloins in my time, but none like this one. The usual approach is super thin and huge, making the bun look tiny. While this one wasn't much larger than the bun, it was at least an inch thick, so it was more like eating a fried pork chop sandwich, but with the meat tenderized. The meat was well-seasoned and very flavorful, and the crust was extra-crispy and crunchy. The Honey-Lime sauce (one of three sauces brought to each table along with Ranch and Tyler's Sauce) is delicious and worked great with the pork. Fries were good, as was the cole slaw (which had a nice kick from some very freshly-ground black pepper). And I'm always happy when a place has Guinness on tap.

From the get go the atmosphere was great, there was a short queue (but it was a Friday night, so it's to be expected), but we were quickly shown to our table. Our server was Connor, who was great from the start and was very flexible with our large group who had a few dietary preferences/requirements. One of our favorite things about the menu is the focus on utilizing local businesses and serving their products. As most locals know Bill's Lemon Shake Ups are a staple in the region so when I saw that on the menu I had to go for that, and with multiple flavor choices I was excited to try. I ended up settling for the tenderloin sandwich, but I was certainly interested to try a lot of the menu. The amount of pork was HUGE and it was flavorful and paired with the honey lime sauce it was a 10/10! The bun alone was phenomenal, and I couldn't recommend this meal enough if you are a schnitzel or tenderloin fan! That sauce is definitely a star of the show, paired with the sweet heat seasoning available at the table next to the S&P the meal was the perfect combination of sweet, spice and tasty! Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well and there was little left by the end. The nachos were customized to account for a dietary preference so this is not the standard, however they were delicious and a huge portion. The pizza was thin crust and was excellent too, so no notes across the board. Thanks once again to Connor for accommodating us and being so patient with our party. You can also purchase any of the three major sauces that they have in house, so I proceeded to buy the honey lime which we'll be enjoying for the next few weeks, if it makes it that long!
