Which already brought me the wrong way . Then he's asking me a bunch of questions about why I'm getting my boiler replaced and it's like dude just tell me how much the replacement is going to be that's all I want to know like you're here to give me a number not an interrogation. Hey then proceeds to ask me when I plan to get it done and I told him 30 days . His response was well why not today . Considering he came in a hatchback I didn't think he was equipped to come to do the job today but I wanted to get it done in 30 days . So I just repeat no 30 days because at this point I am getting frustrated with him . So he repeats why not today . So I hand him his business card back and apologize for him having to come all the way out here and asked him to leave . He tried to give me his card back after I just handed it back to him and asked him to leave and wanted to continue the conversation. I had to basically walk him to his car . My business is not his business I said 30 days I have nobody else that came to give me a quote was so intrusive or invasive and I don't know if it was because he's trying to sell me something or because I'm a woman but it immediately put me off and made me feel very uncomfortable. Thankfully I was able to find a company who can come out when I need them to come out for $3,000 less than their old quote was from 2 years ago . So if you want to be interrogated and overcharged then I guess this is the company for you .

I decided to call the professionals and chose to look local for a repair. The service men came out and didn't really look at anything just said a part needed to be replaced. I went downstairs to shut the water off. They replaced it and it still didn't work. They didn't really know what else to do. I showed them there were other pumps in the door and they said they would need to order that one and would come back out. I was asked to pay the service charge ($140). They came out with the other part and the same thing happened. So they said they couldn't fix it. I was surprised since they do repairs and all they did was try replacing pumps and didn't do anything else. I, who know nothing about appliances, did more than them. The worst part isn't even them not fixing it and still charging me to come out, but they also ruin my floor. When they changed the part they must not have tightened it enough and water leaked out. It was behind the refrigerator so I didn't notice the drip until it caused the floor on the side of it to warp. So, now I still have no water being dispensed, I'm out $140, and boards in my floor ruined. :(

I tried calling Cliff from A1 appliance as recommended and it was a disaster. He took twice as…read morelong as he estimated and at one point I had to show him how to take the front of the dryer off. After he fixed the issue he put the front back on only for me to point out that the large lint piece that goes inside the machine was still sitting on the floor. So it took another 25 minutes to do that. My original $175 estimate turned into $240 and when I questioned him he said it took him longer than expected. No kidding! At one point I was going to offer to pay him and just have him leave. His specialty was slamming the front to get the piece back in. Then he said it was my fault for "watching him like a hawk". I'm sure he's a nice guy but I would never recommend him for any work on my appliances.
