While she did schedule a service call (for a brand‑new machine), she made it clear that I was expected to deal with Speed Queen directly. SK Lavery delivered a defective product yet refused to take ownership or provide real support. This is not the SK Lavery I once trusted. They may sell high‑end appliances, but they do not stand behind them. Once they have your money, you're on your own. This situation could have been handled easily if SK Lavery had taken responsibility instead of shifting the burden onto the customer. Until they change course, I strongly recommend staying away--there are plenty of reputable high‑end appliance dealers who still value accountability and customer service.

I was left wondering how a company could justify employing someone who treats potential customers this way. I am currently shopping for a full suite of appliances--including a double oven, refrigerator, two dishwashers (for the main kitchen and butler's pantry), and a cooktop--so this could have been a significant sale. To let them know about the experience I had with Dean's stove and spa. No customer should have to go through predatory selling tactics that deans uses. People are Travis Industries picked up the phone and at least took the time to listen. They asked for an e-mail and pictures and all of those have been sent off. So the extra money you pay for appliances here now gets you worse service than the discounted big box stores. The individuals are also quite rude. If you are a woman, expect the folks at Portland Electric to talk over you when you call and essentially ignore you. This store is not going to stay opened much longer.
