This is a fantastic local coffee shop! The coffee was excellent and as a non-coffee drinker, I appreciated the selection of teas, which they brewed to perfection before serving. The pastry selection was picked over but they had danishes, quiches, tarts, muffins-- a good combination of more dessert-esque options and hearty, substantial snacks. Overall the experience was solid!

Great coffee great vibes, friendly and fast service! Dropped in when in town to this really cool shop. Really liked the energy here .. plus they have a great product.. got an ice americano and a chicken pepper empanada.

First time here barista recommended the aunt viv said it was the most popular drink. I got it hot and it was really flavorful I'm not a big cardamom fan but it really worked in this drink. This is definitely a great space with seating if you needed to get some work done and 10/10 free parkingggggg which is unheard of in Atlanta.

Cool, vibey coffee shop on my side of town. Portrait offers coffee and specialty drinks, teas and hot cocoa beverages. They also sell the coffee for home-brewing. I came for a recess night event with a DJ, food offering and of course, games to stir up your inner child joy. There is also merch available, centering dope ATL memorabilia, including 96 Olympic and OutKast affairs. It was definitely a good time. This is a good small working space if you need somewhere to just chill out and have a moment.

I have been a patron of the restaurant located next door for years so I am always passing this spot to go there . I finally decided to stop in and patronize the spot. The staff was pretty blah. Not really sure how else to describe it. They did not do anything wrong, just not giving off the best energy. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. There were plenty of seats available so I sat down and waited for my drink to be prepared. It took about 5 minutes for them to make the drink. It was ok-- nothing to recommend. I think that I owe them another visit to try the coffee out since that is what they are known for . The one thing I did love about this spot is the decor. It is simple , but provides character. I will give this spot another chance when I am in the area again.

Such a cute coffee shop in the West End!! I haven't lived in this area in many years but I enjoy it every time I come back. I was influenced through Threads and figured I'd drive down on a random weekday. The parking is plentiful, the decor is lovely with a but of a 90s vibe, and the coffee was delicious! I ordered the Aunt Viv which was so good, I've been thinking about it ever since. I sat outside on the patio with a friend and he ordered an iced matcha drink which he enjoyed. I even ordered an iced latte (sweet potato) to go. I didn't enjoy that one as much but I'd be willing to try it hot instead. They had quite a few tables inside for studying/chilling/meeting etc. and the baristas were friendly and quick. I'm already planning my next visit!

If you are anywhere near Portrait Coffee, you should probably visit! The barista helped me decide what to order, and I loved the maple bourbon latte. The strawberry matcha with a hint of nutmeg (!) was honestly one of the best matchas I've ever had. It was busy on a Monday morning but full of good vibes.

A small quaint BOB in West End. The barista was helpful with the menu. The husbae order the iced Aunt Viv Latte, and I had a classic mocha. We also got the cinnamon roll and the breakfast croissant that I can't remember the name of but my husband really enjoyed it. The coffee house itself had an eclectic old school feel. It's a nice place to work or studying. There's also outside seating. I would definitely recommend,

I saw an instagram reel/tiktok going around about their Aunt Viv and I totally forgot about it. Then I was down the street at Raani with my friend Sophia and we were coffee shop hoping so we zoomed down to Portrait Coffee. We got super lucky too, because the day we went they were closing early and we got there right in time to try their Aunt Viv Latte! They use fresh cardmamom and you can really taste it in the drink. It's the perfect ratio of sweet and "spiceful". I say spiceful insteady of spicey. We also luckily got free parking and some cute pictures of their decor. I love the mural they have in the back.

Very friendly staff, was a bit of a wait because I think they forgot part of my order but they apologized and quickly responded, the ambiance is great, your ideal coffee house vibe. My sister enjoyed her dirty chai latte, I got their winter spice tea and after it cooling a bit it was very flavorful

Cute coffee shop in the west end! The lattes here are great and the price point is even better. Very few places you can get a latte for under $8 so I love coming here. The pastries could use some upgrading and variety, but the coffee is delicious and definitely worth stopping by.

Came here for drinks on a weekday morning as I was in the area. It was pretty busy. Really appreciate how they have a parking lot next to the coffee shop. We ordered the aunt viv and a matcha latte. I asked if the matcha was sweetened already and the cashier said it was. And I told her that was great, I will take that. When I got my order the matcha was not sweet at all and tasted like straight up milk. I went back and asked if I could get some sweetener. The barista started listing out sweetener options but before I could respond a different barista came over with a bottle. A bottle of what? Idk. lol. But I just opened the lid anyways as I did not want to be difficult, I just wanted a better tasting matcha. She then proceeded to say you must've ordered it unsweet. Which I didn't, I didn't even know they had that option as the cashier said it comes sweetened already. I told her I ordered it sweetened. Then they proceeded to say well we made it unsweet. I thought that interaction was pretty unpleasant and not friendly. I ordered it sweetened and did not appreciate their tone when they were the ones who didn't make it how I ordered. Overall, service was not great nor the matcha. I do like the ambiance of the space and I think it seems like a great coffee shop nonetheless.

Coffee menu didn't really have any description as to what went into the drinks, so it was a pleasant surprise haha. I think we came at a peak time, so it was a little busy and a little bit of a wait. But it was worth it since we weren't on a strict schedule. What we got: Aunt Viv - My husband ordered this drink and we think it might have some cardamom in it? It was really good if you like some extra notes in your coffee. Cappuccino - This was smooth, had good body, and wasn't just entirely milk--still had good espresso flavor. Solid drink. Biscuit - This was stellar! So many flaky layers in a mile high biscuit! I think he got some variation of cheddar and chives maybe? It was so so good. Slightly crispy outer layer, but super soft, buttery inner layers that were full of savory goodness.

The latte selection changes frequently, but I've tried the Aunt Viv and Sweet Potato lattes and have enjoyed both.

I've traveled all over, had coffee in cities people romanticize, stood in lines at "famous" spots--and nothing hits like this place. Nothing. This is my daily go-to, and every single time I walk in, it delivers the exact same feeling: calm, grounded, present. The moment you step inside, the vibe is immediate--peaceful, welcoming, almost humbling. There's a rhythm to it. No chaos, no ego, just people who genuinely care about what they're doing. And that shows in everything. The team behind the bar? Phenomenal. Not just friendly--knowledgeable. You can ask anything, and they'll walk you through it without making you feel out of place. It's not transactional, it's collaborative. They actually involve you in the process, like they want you to understand and enjoy what you're drinking, not just buy it. And the coffee... this is where it separates itself. Whether it's hot, iced, something classic, or something you didn't even know existed--they're never afraid to push boundaries. They experiment, they refine, and they absolutely deliver. Your palate will expand coming here. You'll try things you didn't expect to like--and end up loving. What's wild is this:The feeling I get grabbing a coffee here is the same feeling I've had standing in Little Havana, getting an espresso from Versailles. That same energy. That same emotional connection. That same "this is exactly where I'm supposed to be right now" moment.

During my visit they were decked out for Christmas, from lights to wreaths to calming Christmas music. There was a bit of a wait, the line was pretty long when I walked in and it took about 20 minutes to order. The women at the counter did apologize for the wait a few times and explained that the chef has called out sick, and there were only two of them working. She reassured everyone that this was not a common occurrence so I'm not concerned about that for the future. I got the iced latte and it wasn't the best I've ever had, but not the worst. The cup it came in was adorable so that definitely helped. Considering the wait to order was so long I figured the wait for the coffee would reflect that, but that was not the case and it came quickly. There's also a lot of seating, including booths, tables, and couches. It was relatively crowded when I was there but at no point were all the seats taken. The parking lot is huge and is free! Do not be discouraged by the ParkMobile signs, you only have to pay after 5pm when they close. They do allow dogs, and have a water bowl inside for them. There is also a small store inside that has a selection of items from local vendors. Super cute idea.

It's the umami of feelings. It's the coziness, the beauty, the timeless modernity, the space, the employees and the visitors. Coffee Man hits the mark across the entire segment of enjoyment. The location in an obscure alley in an industrial building, the space has tall ceilings and an inviting board of drinks cleverly arranged on an entire wall. Small touches like this, instead of a typical menu, that add to that umami mentioned earlier. The space is executed in white and warm tones, contrasting to the industrial interior of what one would presume to have been a warehouse or a factory before. Seats are comfortable and plentiful. The coffee is served in colorful mugs with a spectacular level of attention to the quality. While everyone has a preference when it comes to coffee, Coffee Man does an incredible job making all of their coffee drinks some of the best out there. Coffee Man is a special spot and Blandtown is a lucky part of town to have such a gem.
