Nice place, good quality food. It's not the best best, but quality compared to price is reasonable. I can recommend.

Very overrated. Too pricy for the quality. There are hunderds of traditional places that are so much better than this.

This was perhaps my favorite meal I had in Lisbon. The food here is delicious, unbelievable and…read moreincredible. Upon seating, you'll be served homemade bread with olives, cheese, hot and juicy sausage (I'm pretty sure it was the chourico assado). As our main meal, we ordered the sea bass, sardines, and French fries. Although it sounds like simple food, it was insanely fresh, hot, and delicious. We had a whole bottle of vinho verde, only amount to about 6 euros, and it was amazing. This place was filled with locals. If you're headed to Lisbon, go here. Go to the local places. You may just have one of the most memorable meal of your life

No recent reviews is very telling. The last one was from 2 years ago and the previous is 6. So I'm…read moregoing to assume my experience was totally different because of staff or just over time decline of service. But it completely soured my experience of Portugal. We wanted to try authentic homemade food and everything at first was great. They had olives and cheese placed on the table and then someone handed us some chorizo. They handed my husband the plate and said "chorizo really nice" and he placed it on the table. We looked confused said we didn't order it but he gestured to try it. We said thank you and went to order our food (basic and okay. Maybe 6/10. They didn't have half of the items we initially wanted to try) finished and got up to paid. The olives (which we didn't eat because I'm pregnant and they made me violently nauseous)cheese and chorizo (which I also can't have because it's cured meat) were surprisingly on our check. We mentioned we didn't order it, that it was on our table & they said "well you ate it". We assumed it was a nice gesture, and the attitude we got from that simple statement after asking about it changed their entire mood towards us. Then one of the staff said "they just don't want to pay". We didn't carry enough cash on us to pay the entire bill because of it and they immediately started accusing of being thieves. They told my husband to go get cash while I stayed behind as like collateral? We were traveling in another country and I'm pregnant, with no cell service. That's not happening so when we said no that's not an option they became more hostile and aggressive. You hear about scams on the streets but beware of this particular place that will trick you into paying more then get aggressive when you question the bill. MAJOR SKIP.

A friend had highly recommended this spot when I said I was going to Lisbon. It was conveniently…read morelocated across the street from the hotel I stayed at. We had reservations for a party of 2 on a Saturday at 6 PM. When you check in, they give you a slip of paper which has a QR code on it for you to access the menu later, and we were promptly seated upstairs. The menu is conveniently available in several languages (you select your language at the bottom of the main menu page). We were at a long table for 6, with us sitting on the inside and another couple sitting at the end, and the table settings in between us were cleared, so it didn't feel like we were on top of one another. I appreciated that the server gave recommendations that would be good for two people. We went with most of his recommendations (shrimps on garlic sauce (it's labeled as spicy, but it's really not), clams on garlic, tiger prawns grilled on bed of salt) and added some of our own (razor clams and lobster roll). All the seafood tasted fresh, bursting with flavor from the buttery garlic sauce, which we sopped up with garlic bread. The bread is brought to the table when you first get seated. It's not free, which I was aware of, but I knew it would go well with the dishes we ordered. The razor clams were juicy and sweet. The lobster roll was good, but not something I would order again when there's so many other fantastic seafood choices. I usually don't drink beer, but felt that it was appropriate since we were at a cervejaria, so I ordered a bottle of Sagres Bohemia. It went perfectly with the seafood. My SO, who doesn't drink alcohol, got peach iced tea. I wanted to get the prego sandwich for dessert, but my SO was pretty much full at that point, so I ordered a tarte whisky and a cappuccino for myself. The whisky ice cream layer in the tarte was nice and refreshing. I was shocked when we got the bill and it came out to less than 50€. This meal would have cost so much more in the US. You pay via tablet at the end and I left a generous tip in appreciation of the wonderful meal and service. They get you in and out of there quick, but it never felt like we were being rushed out. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for some fresh, delicious seafood in Lisbon.

You check in and then they ask you wait in their waiting area next door which looks a little bare and the outside patio seems like a smoking area. After we were called, we walked upstairs to a brightly-lit dining room. Lots of serving staff and all very friendly. Their menu is extensive and it's great they have photos too! My favorites had to be the giant tiger prawn, razor clams, and the crab head, but everything was tasted good and the seafood tasted fresh. Would recommend!
