I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from beginning to end. I booked a Gel-X set and a pedicure. The Gel-X design I requested was extremely simple, yet the appointment took 2.5 hours to complete. I completely understand that every nail technician has their own pace, but when an appointment runs that far behind, there should be some consideration for the customer's time. Rather than become frustrated with the technician, I politely told the staff that I would return another day for my pedicure. To my surprise, I was charged a $20 cancellation fee because I was no longer receiving the service -- despite the fact that the only reason I had to leave was because their own appointment took significantly longer than expected. I paid the fee without arguing because I did not want to make the staff uncomfortable or cause a scene. Unfortunately, the most frustrating part is that after 2.5 hours, the quality of my nails did not reflect the time or money spent. I asked for a simple square shape and left with uneven, U-shaped nails with excess gel built up underneath them. For the amount this salon charges, the quality was nowhere near what should be expected. I called afterward hoping to speak to management and give them the opportunity to make things right. While I was placed on "hold", I could clearly hear the supervisor speaking negatively about me and dismissing my concerns by saying I was "just mad" about the cancellation fee and didnt want to pay it. This was incredibly unprofessional, especially considering I was calling because I was unhappy with the overall quality of my $130 service. I was told the owner would be contacted and would reach out to me personally. It has now been two days with no phone call, email, or any acknowledgment of the situation. High prices can be justified by exceptional work and exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, this salon provided neither. Paying premium prices for poor-quality nails, being charged a fee due to the salon's own delay, hearing management speak negatively about a customer, and then receiving no follow-up is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I would encourage anyone considering this salon to understand that the experience may not match the price tag. read more

The salon itself is cute, and I appreciated the complimentary sparkling wine--it's a nice gesture. However, during my first visit, I asked for a refill and was told I'd have to pay for it. A few minutes later, the front desk came back to say I couldn't have a second glass at all. It was awkward and honestly unnecessary--especially considering it was a very inexpensive bottle. It left a bad impression. My first appointment was disappointing. The tech was clearly inexperienced; a basic full set with no nail art took 3.5 hours. While they looked nice at first, I noticed at home that one of my thumbnails was significantly longer than the other. To their credit, they were accommodating and honored their warranty policy--but it soon became clear why that policy is needed. I gave the salon a fair chance and saw two more techs on later visits, but my nails kept breaking or popping off within days. They were always kind about doing repairs, but I don't want to spend my time constantly returning to the salon. I started to wonder if it was due to my job (I type a lot and wash my hands frequently), but after switching to The Nail Collective, I realized it wasn't me at all. I've had zero issues there, and the difference in prep and product quality is night and day. In my experience, this salon seems to be staffed with techs from their in-house nail school, and the results reflect that. While they are polite and the space is nice, I can't recommend it based on the quality and consistency of the work. If you're looking for long-lasting, professional nails, I'd suggest trying The Nail Collective instead. read more

I've been to this salon twice now. My first visit was great -- I just got a basic hard gel manicure and gel pedicure, and everything turned out really well. For my second visit, I came in to get my nails done for my baby shower. Kate, my nail tech, was very sweet and seemed confident when I showed her the inspo photo. Unfortunately, the experience didn't go as smoothly. I had to point out multiple times that the lengths of my nails were uneven, and when she started the design, it looked quite different from the picture. I tried to explain the differences, and she made an effort to redo it but after the second try , I had been sitting for so long and was uncomfortable, so I told her not to worry about fixing it further. I left feeling disappointed, as the nails were lumpy and the design wasn't clean or precise. That said, I still think this salon has potential, and I plan to give it another try -- just with a more experienced nail tech for detailed nail art. read more

This was by far the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. I spent almost 5 hours there and left with the worst set of nails I've ever seen. The service was terrible from start to finish. The so-called "nail techs" clearly did not know how to do acrylic nails at all and moved painfully slow while still getting everything wrong. None of the photos they have posted match the actual quality of their work -- they are completely misleading and do not represent what you will get. Honestly, why do they allow people who do not truly know how to do nails to work on actual customers' hands? That alone is extremely concerning. While I was getting my nails done, one of the girls even mentioned that if a nail worker isn't doing well, points get taken off them, which is ridiculous -- I don't care about their points, this is my hands. I shouldn't have to walk out looking terrible just because someone is still "learning." The person who did my nails knew that I've done nails before and was literally asking ME how to do them. I ended up fixing parts of my own nails because they obviously could not do it correctly, which is completely unacceptable after paying for a service. I paid almost $30-$40 for something I could have done way better on my own at home. Even worse, the manager herself claimed she was "really good," yet she couldn't even do a basic French tip correctly. Everything was messy, disorganized, and unprofessional. There was no structure, no confidence, and absolutely no quality control. The acrylic nails didn't even last two days before falling apart. Five hours of my time and money completely wasted. On top of that, the person doing my nails admitted that they were not being taught how to do acrylics the correct way, saying their school teaches a method that shouldn't be used, even though they know people who have done nails for years using a different (and correct) technique. Overall, the workers seem completely lost, untrained, and unsupported. This place is not professional, not honest, and not worth your time or money. I do not recommend anyone coming here unless you want your time wasted, your money wasted, and your nails completely ruined. I understand that these are students learning how to do nails, but that does not make this experience fair for customers. The work being advertised appears to be from years ago, making it look like you're walking into a high-quality, professional salon, only to walk out with the worst set of nails imaginable. Customers should not be used as practice without clear honesty, and no one should leave feeling disappointed, embarrassed, and completely misled. read more

Nice salon, very beautiful , uses good quality products. I don't care for sitting on a high stool to get my nails done though, I am very short and have to hop up on the stool. I actually went a couple times. But on my last visit, I paid cash and the gal at the front counter said they couldn't make change, so they rounded my total up so they didn't have to deal with coinage (When I questioned this I was told this was store policy). That's a huge "NOPE" from me. I'm done with any business that cheats me out of my cash. Plus I feel the salon is very overpriced for the service you get. Nickeled and dimed. Charged $39.99 for a basic pedicure which was a glorified polish change. The tech literally took off my polish, quickly shaped my toe nails, and new polish applied (regular polish, not gel) for that price! If you want a massage chair, you will need to book the VIP room for an extra charge. Also, I was charged $10 to cut down and reshape my nails each time I got a full on my dip powder. That adds up!
