First time I went to get a pedi I got Lucy. Everything was great. Shape, massage, etc ... Unfortunately, Lucy was on vacation when I tried to get in and so I ended up with Tina. I had specifically requested a good technician. I was reassured that she gives the best pedicures - maybe? Now one thing I don't understand that seems to be industry standard here in Vegas is that just because I don't look at my feet consistently, it doesn't mean you get to be SLOPPY with polish application. I usually give a first look when I put my socks on but I don't inspect each toe individually in the salon- that's a bit weird. Anyways - this is what I paid 80 dollars for... see pic - just gross. Chi is a miracle worker. I came to him for the first time a year ago because I was having issues with my big toenail and I knew I needed help from someone who knew their stuff- Chi knows his stuff!! He's popular for a good reason, so book him online ahead of time. Some pedicures feel like something I could do myself at home. His pedicures are truly therapeutic. He does Reiki and whether you believe it or not doesn't matter. It feels amazing and he puts so much energy into his treatments. The best massage I've ever had, I notice the tender spots and they're always gone by the time I leave. He loves what he does and you can feel it. They recently redid the inside of their space and it's so clean and chic and the massage chairs are comfy and not overly aggressive (If you know you know) They take their time and you don't feel like you're being rushed through an assembly line. First time trying this salon I found on Google. They had almost all good reviews and several of their reviews listed their names. The one that caught my eye was Chi. He was said to give the "best pedicure and foot massage ever". I can attest to this as a fact! Chi is so pleasant, did a wonderful job with my wacky feet and the best leg/foot massage using the healing power of Reiki! I have chronic head and neck pain, and while I was there, both were gone in a matter of 5 minutes when he started the foot massage! Unbelievable but true story. Needless to say I was amazed. Gifted with Reiki energy as a small child - he can't help but infuse every touch with this healing energy. I arrived on a Friday afternoon with a heavy heart, fatigue from the week and just enough energy to drive to the salon. Chi is personable and caring and he takes enormous pride in his work. My gel pedicure was impeccable, yet I really didn't care about how my toes looked because I was amazed at how great I was feeling. I typically do not post reviews but I do want to share my experience. I had a gel pedicure with Nam on 3/13 and I'm pretty unhappy. He upsold me to a higher package, which I was fine with since I knew my feet needed some work. However, he continued trying to upsell me on other services throughout my pedicure and it was very uncomfortable and annoying. On top of that, he cut my cuticle on 2 different toes, which was very painful and made both of them bleed. No apology was given. He also rushed through the massage and parrafin wax - he basically only massaged my shins and feet for less than 5 minutes. As you can see, the polish is also very sloppy. My feet do not feel "baby soft" as promised. He asked that I pay his tip in cash rather than on my card so he "didn't have to wait" and told me to show him how happy I was with my service through the tip amount I would be giving him. Super disappointing experience, especially for $95. Please do not book or accept Nam as your nail tech if you're a walk-in. read more
