I should get a $115 refund (plus I left a hefty tip), but I decided to not directly complain. My usual saloon charges $90 for this service and I always walk out happy and pretty. She is the best hair stylist I've ever had at asking the right questions and explaining how different styles/cuts will affect your hair. Example - tell her you want a long bob (which I just did) and she will ask how you wear your hair, if you pull the back forward over your shoulders, and then explain why cutting it at a certain angle will help your hair lay better given your answer. Tell her you want blonde highlights and she will ask what that means to you - is it bleach blonde, honey blonde, etc. Plus the price is great! She helps me come up with a cute but low maintenance way to keep my hair since I'm only in town about twice a year.
