Mani and pedi took 3 hours. Mentioned how much they've gone downhill, to a family member, who said that she had the same experience with them taking walk-ins during services. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I used to really sing their praises, and I am updating my review to show that this is not what it used to be.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is actually so terrible that I know several people who think it might be some sort of tax shelter. I wanted to try a new place closer to me. I read the other reviews and thought it was safe- even though there were only 22 reviews. Please don't go here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I even called and made appointments for my daughter and I - what a waste.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wanted a pedicure and am pretty sure both of my feet were cut twice each, specifically my big toes and pinky toes. I've never had such a painful pedicure and there was no massage. The materials smell weird and kind of... old/musty? I got the impression the lady owner loves to take time to do manicures and nails so maybe that's a decent experience but I won't be coming back here. I came into Rose on a whim tonight (I have a meeting tomorrow morning and my nails we're an absolute wreck)... Called five minutes ahead my arrival, and they were more than happy to get me in for a mani (dip)/pedi. Quiet, clean, fast and friendly! Amazing attention to detail, and the perfect application thickness (my last one from a different salon was almost clumsily thick). They are flawless! I am not from this neighborhood, and I am not a regularly manicured person... BUT I would gladly travel the 20+ minutes from the city to come and visit again. Thank you very much! read more

According to the other reviews I've seen, I guess my opinion is in the minority. This was my first, and only visit to this nail salon. The pedicure was very rough and felt rushed, and they weren't busy so that's not the reason. The salon itself is very dated and looks run down. There's also an odd smell in there that was not at all pleasant. And it wasn't a nail product smell. I couldn't tell if it was dirty or just the run down appearance of the place made it look that way. I was hoping for a good experience but unfortunately, I didn't have one. read more

I would highly recommend. The owner/wife did my gel pedi. She was very kind and did a thorough great job. They offered me a bevg of my choice for free. After she finished, her husband/owner did my gel full set white tip. He was very kind. He kept making sure I was satisfied thru each step. The shape, color etc. It was a little pricey but I did get one of the higher pedis. And I got gel on my feet and nails. And when the quality is so good along with the service I do not mind paying a little more. At the end they reminded me, if something goes wrong, to come back they will fix for free. I'm new to the area, and thought I'd give this place a shot since it's down the street from me. Walked in and was immediately greeted and asked what I wanted. I came in for a manicure, I don't normally get them done but I'm going to an event this week and wanted to look a bit festive... Showed him a picture of what I wanted (rainbow tips), he said he could do it with no problem so I sat down and he started to prep my nails. As he's prepping he starts to talk about the design I wanted and basically talked me out of it because it was time consuming and difficult. I'm not sure how other salons work but I've seen some pretty elaborate nail designs before and didn't think I had anything too complicated. I tried negotiation just one nail on each hand instead of a full set, but again... No. I should have left, I was annoyed by this point but didn't want to be rude so I settled for one color and left. In the end, the color looks a bit uneven and there are air bubbles on several fingers, but the best manicure I've gotten. I figured that it would be higher than the average manicure because I wanted several colors, so I was willing to pay for it. And it's not like there wasn't time to do it, because I came in sometime before 5 pm. I won't be going back, I think it's bad business do not give someone what they want, or at least try to compromise if it's absolutely not doable... But like I said I would have settled for a regular manicure with ONE rainbow on each hand, but no. read more

I was here a month ago, and stepped into a [very] relaxing environment! The TV was on the lowest setting, and the music player wasn't blarring; it was at a soothing level of spa music! They were very nice and my nails are pretty, but not what i wanted. They are a little too curved, it's hard type or do anything else to be honest. I wanted coffins and they're rounded on the ends. He made me bleed three times. I've never had that happen before. Maybe just a random occurrence and I was unlucky but I won't go back. read more

I would not recommend this location to anybody! Looked decent enough inside at first glance, "owner" was available to do my fill-ins but my goodness they were terrible! I felt so bad. I've never had such a horrible experience that I almost didn't know how to react. I'm still baffled at how someone could ruin another professionals work. All I requested was a fill. No shaping no shellac no polish SUPER easy request. I'm incredibly upset.
