These days it's really hard to find a business that will actually call you back. When I walked in, the business was super clean and organized, even though the owner and her groomer were balancing multiple pets at once. I was in and out less than 10 minutes for a walk-in nail trim, which I believe she does from noon to 3 PM on Thursdays. The owner was super kind to my dog and I, which I appreciated since not everyone is comfortable with Pitbulls. Towards the end of her nail trim, my dog started to get super nervous, so the owner went over and comforted her while the groomer finished the last paw. I love supporting this small business and will absolutely be back. I highly recommend that everyone goes here over any other chain like Petsmart or Petco.

The last time we took our pup the price was still $75 and $10 extra because he had one tiny knot behind his ear. So it was $85 total! And then they told us that they weren't taking cards that day so I would have to pay cash! On top of all that she didn't cut his nails and they put this over powering perfume on them too...idk...I guess they think it smells good. My mother is allergic to everything including that perfume so I had asked her nicely to not put it on him. He itches for three days when he has it on and I don't care for it as well. She put the perfume on him again. One more thing, the doors are always locked and sometimes it take 2-3 calls just to get to talk to someone. They have always been very nice though I will say that!

I was looking for a groomer interested…read morein doing more than the usual pet trim - someone interested in experimenting with styles and having fun with my poodle - and yet gentle and caring with my dog. Nicole did a fantastic job and I loved the entire atmosphere and friendliness of the team here. I adopted my mini poodle 3 months ago after he was rescued from a hoarder's home where he grew up never being exposed to any sort of grooming at all. Naturally, they had to shave him right down when they rescued him. When he finally grew enough hair for a groom, I started looking for a groomer. I asked all my friends and called around based on their recommendations. After talking to 3 different groomers, I decided on one who operated from her home. She was super gentle and patient with him and very very nice with me. However, she was scaling back her business and was not interested in doing anything other than tidy pet trims. When I asked about bracelets on his legs, she said "nobody does that anymore". She didn't fluff dry him before the final groom and returned him to me curly (you can't cut poodle hair evenly without straightening all the curls first). While I liked everything else about her, I knew she wasn't the right fit for me as I wanted more style to his grooms. I broadened the search and interviewed another 3 groomers. One I liked is about 45 minutes away. Then I met Loyal Companions Dog Grooming at Woof-a-Roo Pet Fest. They were very nice to talk to and super friendly (and patient with all my questions!). They showed me pictures and we talked about what they would recommend and how they would work with my dog. Feeling comfortable talking with a groomer is super important to me and they made me feel at ease, explaining many things along the way. e.g. they recommended no bracelets because they would make my poodle's short legs look even shorter. When it came time to make the appointment, they were very accommodating, fitting him in within days (they often have availability weekdays while weekends are booked solid). They listened to what I wanted when I dropped him off. I get very very nervous visiting any hairstylist for myself - so was a bundle of nerves when I went to pick him up. Nicole did a great job - she cut a mohawk just like I asked and did the rest of his body the way I asked for. He looked well taken care of and I was pleased that she didn't shy away from telling me the parts of his groom that he didn't like and gave me tips on things I can do at home to help him feel comfortable with grooming sessions. I'm thrilled to have found someone who looks like she will be able to have fun styling my poodle and someone with whom I can experiment with different poodle styles each groom. They charged me $45. They said the range for my dog would be $45-$60, depending on fur condition and his behavior (typical price when I called around. He did not have a single matt (I have learned to line brush down to the skin several times a week) and they reported he was well-behaved throughout the whole session until they started working on his face. He got a bit grumpy at this point. Being new to grooming, he was nervous of the kennels as well. They were very efficient and he was done in about an hour - I picked him within 15 minutes of getting their call.

The customer service I get from the staff is amazing and they are always attentive to what I need for my fur babies. Most importantly is they do not discriminate against a breed of dog. When I made my first appointment I was worried my pits would be frowned upon and denied but let me tell you they have always treated them no different than a chihuahua!! The only thing I would critique is I have girls and the fragrance they use is a manly strong scent. And I asked for a change with no problem. And once they forgot to brush my baby girl Mahogany's teeth. They immediately corrected. Those things are so minimal I would still travel far and wide to see to it that my girls are well taken care of!!

Biewer yorkies are 100% Yorkie and for someone who thinks she knows everything about dogs you would think she would know about them. I have all his papers from Germany stating that he is so I am pretty sure I know what my own dog is lady. I almost didn't want to leave him there but I was dropping him off on my lunch break and had to go back to work.
