Highland Pets!! Coconut and I were heartbroken after being fired from his first groomer. We were told he was aggressive and difficult to deal with and that they could not handle him. And to be fair, I understand that Coconut isn't an easy pup, given he is deaf and partially blind. He sees moving hands as threats and can easily be overwhelmed with unknown environments. So there is no animosity toward that groomer! But thank Buddha we found Thais at Highland Pets! She was so patient with Coconut and was committed to working with him even though his first couple of cuts were rough. Now I drop him off and pick him up with zero worries. He wont even let us brush his legs or cut his nails without trying to bite us, but he has really warmed up to her and all of her staff. They are very patient with him, while also getting him in and out of the appointment quickly, and at a great price. I would really love if electronic payment or cards were accepted; it's cash only, which is my only drawback.

He is friendly, knowledgeable, and knows how to make pets and owners feel at ease. I have a bit of a crazy husky who doesn't look forward to her spa visits but AJ helps calm her and work with her through it. She always leaves looking gorgeous! He also offers live streams of the grooming so you know nothing shady is going on and that your pup is being well taken care of!

And for once he's not shedding a ton. She clearly removed a lot of fur that was falling out. He seemed to be very comfortable at Classy Clips, too. The owner listened carefully to what we wanted/didn't want and fulfilled our expectations. The price was fair for the amount of work that was needed. $56 for our 50 pound longer haired dog. I only wish we found this place sooner. We live only a block away but I had no idea this was a dog grooming place. I assumed it was a hair place that never looked to be open. I've even been to the nail place next door and didn't realize it is a dog grooming place. Problem would be solved if there were a dog silhouette on the sign.
